Ives Fourth Symphony also uses this sort of ‘ironic’ tonality but it’s American marches instead of neo-romanticism. I’d also recommend Stravinsky’s Agon or Wind Octet for the sort of comedy and jokeyness of it. Also Zappa Lumpy Gravy or the Apostrophe album
