- Neighbor Nancy Jones described witnessing Collin Griffith and his mother, Catherine Griffith, fighting shortly before Catherine was killed. Collin is charged with murdering his mother, 18 months after he shot and killed his father in self-defense.

Nancy seems to be a very nosey neighbor yet she couldn't bother to call police!
She's like the worst kind of nosey neighbor.... all about the gossip but none of the actual caring or concern.
Seeing what she saw does not warrant calling the police in my opinion.

@@julielindsey6984I agree. She doesn’t say it was aggressively. May have been an arm came out grabbed her by the shoulder to pull her in for a kiss or hug. If the hair was past shoulder length it would have moved rather it was pulled or not. She came from Chicago and didn’t see anything so wrong that she thought she should call LE.

the Mother knew that this kid was extremely dangerous with numerous warnings... Plus he killed his own father. Whether an accident or not with his Dad if she wanted to be around this killer she should have done so with people around. This is TERRIBLE!! Could have been avoided because her Dad Warned her!!
let's not victim blame the mom. She loved her son, and she was misguided in wanting to help him. She had him under mental health care services. She thought she could save him. Which obviously was misplaced. But I'm sure many mothers would not want to believe they child is beyond saving.
@@jgray690 Yes...I do understand exactly what you are saying . I do recognize that her father informed her that her son wanted to Slit her throat and smell her blood oozing out of her. THAT is a severe wake up call and there is NO WAY after hearing that.....She should have ever been with him alone that's all i am really saying. I am not blaming her.
@@jgray690 She also refused some mental care for her son and ordered him released from that facility back....Into her care. That is her choice and her right. Unfortunately it was the wrong decision.

@ NO how can I be a Mother I am 100 percent man...however If a person is warned by her own father that her own son wants to stab her in the neck and smell her blood ...I know it would be the right thing to do to see him with security or at least other people around. Hope she can live with not reporting this to the police her neighbor is dead shame on her Colin should be locked up for life I know he had not been charged with his fathers death but he shot him twice and killed his mother
I suspect that after he's convicted of killing his mom, they may reopen the case of the dad's death.
@@dawnramejkis609 I think the jury should be told that he murdered his dad as well claiming self defense. The DA's office must be hard up for funding. And that judge is one of those quirky individuals that is book savvy educational wise, you can just tell that she has her head up her butt. I hope thst she is acquitted and SHAME ON THEM FOR TAKING THIS TO TRIAL, JUST HOW STUPID IS THAT!

She knew Collin was in the house before the accident happened except it was a murder. She saw a woman being pulled inside the house went back into the house like nothing happened. Collin looked like an emotional wreck and crying. Wow what a witness.
