Just wanted to let everyone know this worked for me! Our AOC screen turned white about 6 months ago. I was about to throw it away one day when I stumbled upon this video. The process to open up the monitor was a little different than the video (more complicated), but I ended up rubbing the eraser on that surface, closing everything back up, and BOOM it worked! Saved me at least $150, so THANK YOU!!
He rubs an eraser, like the one you would use to erase something written in pencil on paper. Bonus: The same technique works on RAM memory modules, I've done it for years now. Thanks for the video!

wow. try ko to mamaya. may 4 ako na samsung lcd monitors na puro white screen ang problem. tinester ko na ang mga fuse at diode at ini-check kung meron bang bloated na capacitors pero ok naman lahat. sana gumana to sa kin master.. fingers crossed.. :)
if your monitor is dead set meaning its not powering on or no led power indicator you must check first if fuse are busted or burn out primary power oscillator or the four zener diode located on your main circuit board check if there is a leaky zener diode you must use a resistor series voltage test procedure to accurately know if the zener diode is leaky or shorted, using only a multitester or resistance test will not tell you iff the zener is good or bad
what does it mean when theres a white rectangle box in left hand top of screen and its there even when booting up can faintly see it on boot up,but when on internet it stands out alot,and it coinsides with osd keeps popping up now and then,osd seems to pop up more when i 1st go on the computer then not so much after a while,but the white box is always there,is a burnt out image of where some thing hasnt totally been clicked off?
please help i need parts for my Acer S191HQL LED Monitor but i dont know the value. where can i find the diagram for the board, i cant find it in the net. someone please help..

(The monitor worked fine after the flood, but clearly had water between the films) The water is gone now but I have a white vertical block covering 1/4 of the screen on the right side. I used your technique in the video (thanks, by the way) but the white block is still there. The block only appeared after I opened the monitor to clean it. Any Ideas about this?
check mo yung cable kung ok ang contact tapos kung wala pa rin tingan mo yung surface mount fuse sa circuit ng lcd circuit board color green yun check mo gamit ng multi tester kung open yung fuse

Hello, I followed this video yet i figured that is not the problem. Its kinda whitish and ghostly. I dint add anything or remove anything that might cause this. Yesterday it was just working perfectly, i turned it off at night then now its like this. I dont know what else i can do with this. I'm hardly able to read this message im typing right now. please help.
follow up check if there's an image in your lcd use flash light or try to see if there's a ghostly image or very light images in your monitor, if you can see an image your backlight is busted
I was working on my pc and moved my monitor to the edge of my bed (yest I know very stupid) and it fell on its face, now when I connect it to the power and PC it shows a white screen with some vertical rainbow lines will this method fix that? if not is it possible to fix it? I don't want to rush buying a new one.
My AOC fell off my desk face first, resulting in a white screen with geometric rainbow patterns around the screen's point of impact with a floor fan. ACP's procedure did not fix it :-)

Worked in an old ass LG monitor from 2011. The screen was only white and I couldn't use it. For now it seems to be working flawlessly. Awesome.

My AOC monitor is broken too! When I plug it in, there is no display or white, just a black screen. The Power LED blinks on and off.
Maybe it's not the monitor but from the cpu, try removing the cooling fan on the cover of the pc
