yes, you can do it as a non-technical person..... just follow the video..... as long as you disconnect from power source, discharge any voltage/current, and don't short out any circuitry......
Same concept, but smaller. Metal locks that you need to pry open carefully. Use a heatgun or hairblower for undoing glue. The glass used in there is very thin and very easy to break. Also use dry tissues to clean up the film and make sure you don't leave stray traces.

I cleaned everything carefully, now I have only backlight lol. Nothing on the screen 😅 I didn't break anything in the process pretty sure of it.
