For years you’ve been my Sunday routine back when they used to be uploaded in the evenings, and now mornings with a cup of coffee to get ready for the day. I started watching the vlogs back when Hannah was pregnant with Grayson - I loved how simple they were and Hannah being the centre of the vlogs attention. I appreciate your cinematography Stef and the effort put in but I originally watched for the simplicity - the last few years I’ve found myself fast forwarding through the comedy skits & monologues as I just don’t enjoy them at all - it’s not what I started originally following for. And some vlogs I haven’t even watched after watching the first few mins and it being Stef at the centre. It’s a shame the vlogs are on hold and it’s sad to hear but understandable at the same time. I think a lot of it has to do with these vlogs very much lately being “The Stef show” - assume this might also be why sponsorship isn’t coming through as much. But that’s just my single opinion as a long time follower. EDIT: I need to add that I am not anti Stef at all! I think he’s great and has some super interesting POV, It’s just that there’s a difference for me between the beautifully shot vlogs of the past and what the vlogs have now become, which is experimental and for me, too far from the original vibe of what I started following for - that cozy, dreamy, escapism.
Hannah has her own channel where , I'm sure, you can watch the content that you prefer and enjoy. The vlogs there are more homey. This is The Michalaks and we follow this channel for the cinematic pleasure and storytelling and I'm sure this channel is a creative outlet for Stef.

Had you have been a viewer for the past 5+ years you’d understand how much these vlogs have diverted from what they originally were which was beautiful cinematography and family. It’s the weird unfunny skits and monologues to camera I don’t enjoy making if ‘The Stef Show’. But thanks for explaining to me what I already knew ;)
100 % agree. obviously stef is really funny, but i originally subscribed for the family vlogs so i found myself skipping his monologues and skits. i miss the older vlogs that were a lot more balanced.
I personally started watching your channel less with time because you were becoming the center of attention and I started watching back in the days because of Hannah and her vibe and personality. I was appreciating your editing skills behind the camera and I felt it was a perfect match between you two, then she became a very small presence in the channel and I lost interest 😬 I totally understand the problems you have anyways, it’s the same for everyone who doesn’t feel like selling out but has to pay bills still. yes!! you perfectly described how i feel. in the last couple vlogs stef's monologues were the main focus (don't get me wrong, he's super funny), but i subscribed for the beautiful family vlogs they used to do.
For me it was the little skits. I appreciate that Stef was having some fun with the vlogs but it was not my style. Especially Grayson reading political texts.

Whenever I’m having a bit of a crap day or feeling a little low, I’ll watch one and they never fail to make me feel happy and put me in a better mood. It’s been such a pleasure being able to come along on your many adventures - travelling the world, moving house, creating songs (‘Dear Mr. Amazon Lady’ is actually my alarm, waking me with a smile each morning), welcoming babies (human and fur) - and I know those of us who have been fortunate enough to take part in your journey would definitely feel a hole and sadness if your videos were to stop. So I just wanted to say thank you to you both from across the world for your beautiful creations that have made a difference to the lives of so many. Thank you, Stef and Hannah!

What made me fall in love with the vlogs years ago in the London flat was the family atmosphere that was just so filled with love. You could feel how much Stef loved Hannah purely from the way he filmed her and the way you interacted with the kids was so heartwarming. I lost a little bit of interest after the skits became the main focus of the videos (still enjoyed but I missed just seeing your interactions and silky montages). Both of your humour (which I love) comes out enough in the family dialogue without having to think of brand new experimental ideas every week. I come here just to be updated on your beautiful family and Stef's stunning editing skills. You could do that forever and never leave the house and I'd still watch ♡

I remember watching one of your vlog for the first time and falling in love with the vibe, the music, the poetry, the humor, that quiet feeling of "all will be well in the end". As a single person I've always enjoyed just watching you family live life through your beautiful shots and edits capturing such beautiful moments. I have always wanted a family and so far haven't met the right person or want to have a child on my own (at least at the moment am not ready). So it really warms my heart seeing such an amazing family life through The Michalaks. Seeing Greyson & Rufus grow SPARKS joy in me....and I bet many others. Roo was so cute with his chats in this video with Hannah. Also I love dogs, and so far only have a cat as a fur baby......so seeing you guys handle so much and be able to have doggies too is amazing. It just inspires me to make the most out of this life......and if I am lucky enough to have a family as awesome as yours. I hope somehow we can still get your beautiful videos. Love you guys. I’ve told so many people about you guys because your channel, you as people, as a family when I watch you, make me feel good. I can relate. I love your humour. You’re real but inspiring. I’m so sorry the world is all about trends and numbers. I’m also sorry it’s not sustainable to create the content I (and so many other people) love for reasons beyond purely just, entertainment. I may not be able to pay your mortgage with these words (Jesus Christ I can’t even afford a house deposit) but just know your content has given me so many great moments and emotions over the years x
Hiya I used to watch your vlogs back when Grey was a baby and you lived in London and to see how much you have grown as a family warms me. Since your move and now moving to podcasts shows that growth. It’s only fair that you as a family discuss how you move forward in current times and a you are technically self employed, it makes sense that you look to other avenues. We love the vlogs especially the silky shots. And yes we will miss them. But don’t ever think that you need to explain your motives for the work you do. We appreciate your honesty but as the simple saying goes ‘you do you, boo’ (Yes, it’s cringe to say that. I’m in my 30s. Tragic 🤦🏽) But maybe don’t give up on the vlogs. There is an audience that loves to watch them on a Sunday morning with a coffee, in a silent house before everyone else wakes. A little wanderlust is what they are. Xx
I personally don’t care for most RUclips channels these days, it’s become all about the likes, subscribes, ya da ya da. I would much rather watch edgy artsy content. I do hope you will upload a video every now and then, I will miss seeing you guys but I totally understand your decision, I wish you all the best.

I think it’s one of the reasons i appreciate your channel the most - that you aren’t like every other generic channel out there and that you’ve always wanted to put out beautiful, cinematic, well structured, mature, funny, eye-pleasing content. My husband would even often sit and watch with me, which is a major feat as he doesn’t commit to many shows on tv or RUclips. Sad to hear why you had to stop vlogging... I've been watching you guys since Grayson was a baby and I've loved having this channel as part of my Sunday morning routine. I do really miss the vlog-style you used to do when it was more family-oriented. The music, the editing, the silky montages - I loved all of it. Now I feel like Grayson isn't really a part of the channel anymore :( and I miss watching Rufus grow up too - he's so much fun to watch 🥺 Basically I miss the family feel of the vlogs. And I'm so tired of Instagram collabs and campaigns, but I understand that maybe that's where the brunt of the money lies now... and like you said, the mortgage and bills have to be paid. I know you don’t want to vlog and love your podcasts but I think the thing is (or is for me) I started following you guys as a new mum and people resonate with you and it’s so good to see you doing what we do- the highs and lows of parenting I’ve giggled so many times watching you when your dealing with tantrums etc and it’s just the everyday stuff that people like to watch
So sad to hear this, your vlogs have been a Sunday comfort of mine for the last 6 years - a familiar and comforting constant during Heart breaks and bereavement, as well as something to look forward to each week alongside the usual ups & downs of day to day life. I understand the need to keep money coming in but it was your raw vlogs mixed with cinematic wow that kept us coming back week on week. And what started the sponsorships in the first place. I loved those early vlogs for their simplicity and 'normality'. I totally get that your filming style and content evolved, just share the view of others in the fact that we don't need the fancy edits, etc. Hope things turned around and you find your mojo again 🙂
Every bit of this breaks my heart; I just kept thinking of that vlog you put up once where you mentioned things like how you just never know when you hold your kid up for the last time and so on and it got me thinking that we never know when we might be watching a Michalak vlog for the last time. It's an awful thing that being yourselves doesn't make a living, I wish being cool and edgy were what's popular rather than what is actually popular. hopeutmost success, whether it was in vlogging, podcasting or outside of RUclips. I only started watching recently and love your content. Mainly because it’s a refreshing change to what most RUclips channels have become. Also the filming quality is amazing. It’s clear how much work is put into these vlogs. Also very refreshing how you are so open about a lot of subjects that people steer a way from nowadays in fear of disagreements.
I started watching your channel, before Grayson was born, when I was in my last teens. I'm now in my mid twenties with my own home and a baby on the way. I've always loved your videos because they were honest; honest about parenthood, relationships, life, creativity. It wasn't ever this display of flashy 'look what we bought with our RUclips money' content, which I hate. I've always felt like I'm just growing up and watching these people who are also growing up & there's an honest dialogue between us of what that is like. I definitely appreciate the honesty, because it's very hard to find online now.

I think one of the things I appreciated most about all of your videos is that I'm genuinely proud to be a subscriber. I used to watch a lot of different vlog channels, but when someone would ask me what youtube channels I watched, I would always be embarrassed to name those channels. I’ve watched you for years (baby Grayson) and you’re probably the only channel I’ve had that long of a commitment with because you’re real but such a great visual story teller too. Would be interesting to hear your perspective on why you think the sponsorships dropped off. Do you feel you changed anything/said anything that changed brands attitudes or do you just think brands are just more keen to work on Instagram as a rule these days? I think potentially the monologues, skits and satire don’t fit well with brand collabs

You have always been my favorite channel to watch and I looked forward to Sundays with the Michalaks. But ever since it’s become about how beautiful these videos have to be and how they have to be something more than a vlog I’ve been having a hard time watching. This week was lovely, maybe even less chitchat with Steph... but I definitely loved seeing the kids and their personalities. You’ve raised them so well and to be so polite and strong and adorable. Would love more of them and who they are
Personally I love your videos because they portray the life of a really lovely family, but done in an authentic, original and beautifully captured cinematic way. You have the ability to make the ordinary day to day, both interesting and aesthetically pleasing. I think from reading other subscribers comments they feel the same way. Perhaps a compromise is to continue to vlog the content lots of us love, from you both Stef and Hannah, alongside the mini ‘projects’ that are true to Stef’s artistic core, and that he wants to produce. It may mean we don’t get to see as many weekly vlogs, or perhaps shorter weekly vlogs, but it will mean that we continue to be able to accompany your lovely family on its life’s adventures!! I also feel by doing the family life vlogs, this will in turn attract mainstream advertising back to supplement your income, and at the same time give you the means to do ‘follow your heart’ projects. Hi Guys, I love you both, but I have start watching vloges because of Hannah and then you both as parents and your struggles and happy times and adjusting to the new normal but with time your vlogs got to over-complicated . There was a little of Hannah and to much of your deliberation Stef over different subjects.I miss those old vlogs from 6 years ago. I miss Hanna's charm. Don get me wrong Stef, you are great, but your wife and children are the start of this vloging and majority of the audiance were here for her. Please rethink the concept of bringing back the charm: -Stef you have two awsome boys: perhaps focus on filming more daddy sons videos even clumsy stuff like art work with your boys, baking, cooking for mommy, Stef and cleaning of the house:), Stef teaching how to edit videos. -Hannah, you have a great decor style, perhaps develop this in videos .We see you are very busy with Home management and children. Maybe Stef you could offload Hannah, so we see plenty more of her. Stef, I understand that you wanted to go against the wave and this did not work well. Perhaps do not fight the fact that you are a vlogging family. Do not be stubborn (this is your Polish roots perhaps:). I am Polish ) -Stef I miss your dad in videos -ask us, your audience, what we would like to see more. It is not a shame to ask and we would help you. We all change , the reality changes.

I used to watched the vlogs religiously every Sunday but with time I watched less and less. I think it is because you guys used to share a lot and it was kinda like watching a series. Every week I would watch to see how a situation has evolved, what Grayson had learned, if you made progress in the latte art department... I literally could have find my way around your house (wow it sounds really terrifying ). It was like we were part of your life and came every Sunday to catch up wit you. But I feel like you started sharing less ans less, which is completely understandable, but then it was like watching a series but missing every other episode so I kinda lost the connection with your family. Anyways, I hope you guys find a way to make money while doing what you love. I loved watching your family evolve and grow and I wish you the best for what comes next. Also, if you ever want to weekly vlog again, I'm all for it, I would love to know my way around this house (just kidding... or maybe not). I started watching your vlogs when you(Stef) 'took over' and as much as I love watching the older vlogs, it was your creativity, your dialogue, and your satirical sense of humour that caught my attention. The changes that I saw with the editing, the cinematographic montages completely blew my mind, it felt as if RUclips did not deserve this, this belongs in the canon of great filmmakers. I also deeply appreciate you not settling for popularity and the hierarchical pop culture. That being said, I am extremely saddened to see this go, I can only hope you guys drop in at least once in a blue moon in the future but at the same time I understand why you have to do this. I will always come back to your vlogs every now and then for comfort from all the chaos. Thank you for sharing your art here.
I´ve been watching for a couple of years now and i think it´s so crazy that you´re not more popular. The content you make is so nice to look at and (however awful it sounds) it´s so real. I actually feel like I´m watching real people, not some loud over excited kid, whose not "relatable" at all. I know you don't want to do vlogs anymore but I love them so much! We finally get a glimpse into what you've all been up to even if it's just a normal day in the life for you . Also loving the dog footage! I feel like we missed out on a lot of George growing up so it's nice to see Pippy now and be able to compare her when she's older. Our shaded cream dachshund is 10 months now so we hope to get him a sibling next year so seeing all the puppy stuff gets me excited!
It’s so frustrating that you guys are authentic with stunning videos n don’t get the praise and ads you deserve. The time and effort you put into ads are second to none Also we have a puppy the same age as your little one and it made me so happy to hear she is biting too. Love mine to bits but he can be a terror! 😂
It's so strange to think the vlogs won't be there anymore. I watched your videos when I moved out to go to university. I watched your videos when I met my boyfriend. When we moved in together. When I was pregnant with our son. And now, as I am pregnant with our second child. I am so glad to still have the podcast and listen to what you guys have to say and what's going on in your lives, but I am going to miss those beautiful videos that you created, Stef, my weekly inspiration. Let's see what the future has in store!

I've stuck with you throughout the years and have loved seeing your work grow/change along with your family. I agree with many of the commenters on here, the early days were lovely, the content was such a breath of fresh air, sharing a small corner of your (then) London life with the world. More often than not, my Sundays started with a cup of tea and the next episode of the vlog. Your content got consistently better and it was pure escapism as you juggled content creation and being new parents. I was blown away by some of the photography and moments captured over the years with Rufus & Grayson and I thought about how lovely it would be for them to watch this when they are your age now (what the vlog set out to do). I mean, imagine having such a catalogue of your early life in technicolour detail! Then, for me, things gradually changed and I found myself really having to be in the mood to watch and I just couldn’t see past the skits and the ‘Stef show’ monologues with silly accents. Although initially a bit light hearted & different, they turned into angry, contradictory political rants and it became uncomfortable to watch so that’s when I stopped. I do return to the channel from time to time to see what’s new and I can imagine how hard it must be to create fresh content but remember the old adage, ‘less is more’. I really hope one day we’ll see you reinvented and producing something as visually memorable & captivating as the early days.

You have always made the most beautiful videos. I have been watching since Hannah was pregnant with your first son. I quit watching for awhile as life took over, but I hope you can continue to produce the fine quality videos that we all love
For the dogs: I recommend the sunbeam ultrasonic egg dog trainer. You can set it to make a high pitch beep when the dog barks (or someone shouts) to quiet the dog. Idk if you have it in the UK, but maybe something similar, at least. We got one for my Labrador who was killing my soul with his bellowing barks at 5a every damn day when my husband would leave for work. Now he doesn’t bark, so we leave it off all the time, and if he gets over excited then just the threat of turning it on is enough to get him to listen. Reviews are mixed but for my family and I, it’s been a god-send. It might help with George’s barking, but you could also use it as a training tool for your new little girl if she’s not listening. I started watching the vlogs back when Hannah was pregnant with Grayson - I loved how simple they were and Hannah being the centre of the vlogs attention.
I appreciate your cinematography Stef and the effort put in but I originally watched for the simplicity - the last few years I’ve found myself fast forwarding through the comedy skits & monologues as I just don’t enjoy them at all - it’s not what I started originally following for. And some vlogs I haven’t even watched after watching the first few mins and it being Stef at the centre.
It’s a shame the vlogs are on hold and it’s sad to hear but understandable at the same time.
I think a lot of it has to do with these vlogs very much lately being “The Stef show” - assume this might also be why sponsorship isn’t coming through as much. But that’s just my single opinion as a long time follower.
EDIT: I need to add that I am not anti Stef at all! I think he’s great and has some super interesting POV, It’s just that there’s a difference for me between the beautifully shot vlogs of the past and what the vlogs have now become, which is experimental and for me, too far from the original vibe of what I started following for - that cozy, dreamy, escapism.

Hannah has her own channel where , I'm sure, you can watch the content that you prefer and enjoy. The vlogs there are more homey. This is The Michalaks and we follow this channel for the cinematic pleasure and storytelling and I'm sure this channel is a creative outlet for Stef.

Had you have been a viewer for the past 5+ years you’d understand how much these vlogs have diverted from what they originally were which was beautiful cinematography and family. It’s the weird unfunny skits and monologues to camera I don’t enjoy making if ‘The Stef Show’. But thanks for explaining to me what I already knew ;)
100 % agree. obviously stef is really funny, but i originally subscribed for the family vlogs so i found myself skipping his monologues and skits. i miss the older vlogs that were a lot more balanced.

I personally started watching your channel less with time because you were becoming the center of attention and I started watching back in the days because of Hannah and her vibe and personality. I was appreciating your editing skills behind the camera and I felt it was a perfect match between you two, then she became a very small presence in the channel and I lost interest 😬 I totally understand the problems you have anyways, it’s the same for everyone who doesn’t feel like selling out but has to pay bills still. yes!! you perfectly described how i feel. in the last couple vlogs stef's monologues were the main focus (don't get me wrong, he's super funny), but i subscribed for the beautiful family vlogs they used to do.
For me it was the little skits. I appreciate that Stef was having some fun with the vlogs but it was not my style. Especially Grayson reading political texts.

Your videos have been such a gift over the years. Whenever I’m having a bit of a crap day or feeling a little low, I’ll watch one and they never fail to make me feel happy and put me in a better mood. It’s been such a pleasure being able to come along on your many adventures - travelling the world, moving house, creating songs (‘Dear Mr. Amazon Lady’ is actually my alarm, waking me with a smile each morning), welcoming babies (human and fur) - and I know those of us who have been fortunate enough to take part in your journey would definitely feel a hole and sadness if your videos were to stop. So I just wanted to say thank you to you both from across the world for your beautiful creations that have made a difference to the lives of so many. Thank you, Stef and Hannah!

What made me fall in love with the vlogs years ago in the London flat was the family atmosphere that was just so filled with love. You could feel how much Stef loved Hannah purely from the way he filmed her and the way you interacted with the kids was so heartwarming. I lost a little bit of interest after the skits became the main focus of the videos (still enjoyed but I missed just seeing your interactions and silky montages). Both of your humour (which I love) comes out enough in the family dialogue without having to think of brand new experimental ideas every week. I come here just to be updated on your beautiful family and Stef's stunning editing skills. You could do that forever and never leave the house and I'd still watch ♡

As a single person I've always enjoyed just watching you family live life through your beautiful shots and edits capturing such beautiful moments. I have always wanted a family and so far haven't met the right person or want to have a child on my own (at least at the moment am not ready). So it really warms my heart seeing such an amazing family life through The Michalaks. Seeing Greyson & Rufus grow SPARKS joy in me....and I bet many others. Roo was so cute with his chats in this video with Hannah. Also I love dogs, and so far only have a cat as a fur baby......so seeing you guys handle so much and be able to have doggies too is amazing. I’ve told so many people about you guys because your channel, you as people, as a family when I watch you, make me feel good. I can relate. I love your humour. You’re real but inspiring. I’m so sorry the world is all about trends and numbers. I’m also sorry it’s not sustainable to create the content I (and so many other people) love for reasons beyond purely just, entertainment. I may not be able to pay your mortgage with these words (Jesus Christ I can’t even afford a house deposit) but just know your content has given me so many great moments and emotions over the years x
Hiya I used to watch your vlogs back when Grey was a baby and you lived in London and to see how much you have grown as a family warms me. Since your move and now moving to podcasts shows that growth. It’s only fair that you as a family discuss how you move forward in current times and a you are technically self employed, it makes sense that you look to other avenues. We love the vlogs especially the silky shots. And yes we will miss them. But don’t ever think that you need to explain your motives for the work you do. We appreciate your honesty but as the simple saying goes ‘you do you, boo’ (Yes, it’s cringe to say that. I’m in my 30s. Tragic 🤦🏽) But maybe don’t give up on the vlogs. There is an audience that loves to watch them on a Sunday morning with a coffee, in a silent house before everyone else wakes. A little wanderlust is what they are. Xx
I personally don’t care for most RUclips channels these days, it’s become all about the likes, subscribes, ya da ya da. I would much rather watch edgy artsy content. I do hope you will upload a video every now and then, I will miss seeing you guys but I totally understand your decision, I wish you all the best.

I think it’s one of the reasons i appreciate your channel the most - that you aren’t like every other generic channel out there and that you’ve always wanted to put out beautiful, cinematic, well structured, mature, funny, eye-pleasing content. Sad to hear why you had to stop vlogging... I've been watching you guys since Grayson was a baby and I've loved having this channel as part of my Sunday morning routine. I do really miss the vlog-style you used to do when it was more family-oriented. The music, the editing, the silky montages - I loved all of it. Now I feel like Grayson isn't really a part of the channel anymore :( and I miss watching Rufus grow up too - he's so much fun to watch 🥺 Basically I miss the family feel of the vlogs. And I'm so tired of Instagram collabs and campaigns, but I understand that maybe that's where the brunt of the money lies now... and like you said, the mortgage and bills have to be paid.

I know you don’t want to vlog and love your podcasts but I think the thing is (or is for me) I started following you guys as a new mum and people resonate with you and it’s so good to see you doing what we do- the highs and lows of parenting
I’ve giggled so many times watching you when your dealing with tantrums etc and it’s just the everyday stuff that people like to watch
So sad to hear this, your vlogs have been a Sunday comfort of mine for the last 6 years - a familiar and comforting constant during Heart breaks and bereavement, as well as something to look forward to each week alongside the usual ups & downs of day to day life.
I understand the need to keep money coming in but it was your raw vlogs mixed with cinematic wow that kept us coming back week on week. And what started the sponsorships in the first place. Thank you for this video, it was refreshing to hear you addressing it ! This type of raw content is why I love you guys so much. I just wish there would be a way we (as an audience) could help you continue doing vlogs, if this is also what you like creating. I would be more than happy to contribute monthly in order for you to be sustainable doing so. I love that you stay true to yourselves and not become a "sell out", but it's heartbreaking that you are in this situation.
If I could give an egotistical advice, maybe you could upload once in a while a vlog like this one, while focusing the majority of your time on projects that are financially rewarding?

I was pregnant at the same time, living in a busy city and figuring it all out. I loved those early vlogs for their simplicity and 'normality'. I totally get that your filming style and content evolved, just share the view of others in the fact that we don't need the fancy edits, etc. Hope things turned around and you find your mojo again 🙂
Every bit of this breaks my heart;
I just kept thinking of that vlog you put up once where you mentioned things like how you just never know when you hold your kid up for the last time and so on and it got me thinking that we never know when we might be watching a Michalak vlog for the last time. It's an awful thing that being yourselves doesn't make a living, I wish being cool and edgy were what's popular rather than what is actually popular.

I actually work in a record shop in North Hertfordshire called David's Music, which my dad has managed for almost 40 years now. I only started watching recently and love your content. Mainly because it’s a refreshing change to what most RUclips channels have become. Also the filming quality is amazing. It’s clear how much work is put into these vlogs. Also very refreshing how you are so open about a lot of subjects that people steer a way from nowadays in fear of disagreements.
I started watching your channel, before Grayson was born, when I was in my last teens. I'm now in my mid twenties with my own home and a baby on the way. I've always loved your videos because they were honest; honest about parenthood, relationships, life, creativity. It wasn't ever this display of flashy 'look what we bought with our RUclips money' content, which I hate. I've always felt like I'm just growing up and watching these people who are also growing up & there's an honest dialogue between us of what that is like. I definitely appreciate the honesty, because it's very hard to find online now.

I think one of the things I appreciated most about all of your videos is that I'm genuinely proud to be a subscriber. I used to watch a lot of different vlog channels, but when someone would ask me what youtube channels I watched, I would always be embarrassed to name those channels. Would be interesting to hear your perspective on why you think the sponsorships dropped off. Do you feel you changed anything/said anything that changed brands attitudes or do you just think brands are just more keen to work on Instagram as a rule these days?
I think potentially the monologues, skits and satire don’t fit well with brand collabs

My initial reaction was oh I don't want the vlogs to stop because I love them that much, but actually hearing you talk about it really does make me understand it and respect you even more. thank you for being so open and honest about why you stopped vlogging. i've been watching you guys since the beginning and your videos used to be part of my sunday rituals and something i looked forward to every week.✨ i absolutely love your creativity, your editing and all the beautiful montages. i think in the end i was a little bit less invested in your vlogs because i felt like the focus shifted and stef's monologues were the main part of the video. don't get me wrong, i love your humour, it's just different from the content we as vieweres were used to (plus i have add)

I started watching your videos when they were every other week and I really enjoyed the cinematic feel of them, it was like a mini film we'd sit down ti watch with dinner. This one seemed really honest and raw. I loved it, especially the passion behind the vinyl. I hope you don't completely stop filming.
I have been watching you guys since Hannah was pregnant with Grayson and it was your life around London. You have always been my favorite channel to watch and I looked forward to Sundays with the Michalaks. But ever since it’s become about how beautiful these videos have to be and how they have to be something more than a vlog I’ve been having a hard time watching. This week was lovely, maybe even less chitchat with Steph... but I definitely loved seeing the kids and their personalities. You’ve raised them so well and to be so polite and strong and adorable. Would love more of them and who they are
Personally I love your videos because they portray the life of a really lovely family, but done in an authentic, original and beautifully captured cinematic way. You have the ability to make the ordinary day to day, both interesting and aesthetically pleasing. I think from reading other subscribers comments they feel the same way. Perhaps a compromise is to continue to vlog the content lots of us love, from you both Stef and Hannah, alongside the mini ‘projects’ that are true to Stef’s artistic core, and that he wants to produce. It may mean we don’t get to see as many weekly vlogs, or perhaps shorter weekly vlogs, but it will mean that we continue to be able to accompany your lovely family on its life’s adventures!! I also feel by doing the family life vlogs, this will in turn attract mainstream advertising back to supplement your income, and at the same time give you the means to do ‘follow your heart’ projects. Hi Guys, I love you both, but I have start watching vloges because of Hannah and then you both as parents and your struggles and happy times and adjusting to the new normal but with time your vlogs got to over-complicated . There was a little of Hannah and to much of your deliberation Stef over different subjects.I miss those old vlogs from 6 years ago. I miss Hanna's charm. Don get me wrong Stef, you are great, but your wife and children are the start of this vloging and majority of the audiance were here for her.
Please rethink the concept of bringing back the charm:
-Stef you have two awsome boys: perhaps focus on filming more daddy sons videos even clumsy stuff like art work with your boys, baking, cooking for mommy, Stef and cleaning of the house:), Stef teaching how to edit videos.
-Hannah, you have a great decor style, perhaps develop this in videos .We see you are very busy with Home management and children. Maybe Stef you could offload Hannah, so we see plenty more of her.
Stef, I understand that you wanted to go against the wave and this did not work well. Perhaps do not fight the fact that you are a vlogging family. Do not be stubborn (this is your Polish roots perhaps:). I am Polish )

-ask us, your audience, what we would like to see more. It is not a shame to ask and we would help you.

I used to watched the vlogs religiously every Sunday but with time I watched less and less. I think it is because you guys used to share a lot and it was kinda like watching a series. Every week I would watch to see how a situation has evolved, what Grayson had learned, if you made progress in the latte art department... I literally could have find my way around your house (wow it sounds really terrifying ). It was like we were part of your life and came every Sunday to catch up wit you. But I feel like you started sharing less ans less, which is completely understandable, but then it was like watching a series but missing every other episode so I kinda lost the connection with your family. Anyways, I hope you guys find a way to make money while doing what you love. I loved watching your family evolve and grow and I wish you the best for what comes next. Also, if you ever want to weekly vlog again, I'm all for it, I would love to know my way around this house (just kidding... or maybe not). Have a great day : )

I love watching any sort of content you guys make. The vlogs are so relaxing to watch and its so cool to see a 'normal' family. Nothing is perfect and your humour carries the story. You should do what makes sense for your family as much as i love these videos

I started watching your vlogs when you(Stef) 'took over' and as much as I love watching the older vlogs, it was your creativity, your dialogue, and your satirical sense of humour that caught my attention. The changes that I saw with the editing, the cinematographic montages completely blew my mind, it felt as if RUclips did not deserve this, this belongs in the canon of great filmmakers. I also deeply appreciate you not settling for popularity and the hierarchical pop culture. That being said, I am extremely saddened to see this go, I can only hope you guys drop in at least once in a blue moon in the future but at the same time I understand why you have to do this. I will always come back to your vlogs every now and then for comfort from all the chaos. Thank you for sharing your art here.

I´ve been watching for a couple of years now and i think it´s so crazy that you´re not more popular. The content you make is so nice to look at and (however awful it sounds) it´s so real. I actually feel like I´m watching real people, not some loud over excited kid, whose not "relatable" at all. I always love watching you content, or listening or reading or just keeping up on whatever you´re doing (sounds creepier than it is), and on whatever app you´ll be on, I´ll be there to support you.
I've watched every vlog since around Grayson's birth. When I tell people about you I call you 'my family.' I will always follow what you guys do, as you have a special place in my life x
I know you don't want to do vlogs anymore but I love them so much! We finally get a glimpse into what you've all been up to even if it's just a normal day in the life for you . Also loving the dog footage! I feel like we missed out on a lot of George growing up so it's nice to see Pippy now and be able to compare her when she's older. Our shaded cream dachshund is 10 months now so we hope to get him a sibling next year so seeing all the puppy stuff gets me excited!

It's so strange to think the vlogs won't be there anymore. I watched your videos when I moved out to go to university. I watched your videos when I met my boyfriend. When we moved in together. When I was pregnant with our son. And now, as I am pregnant with our second child. I am so glad to still have the podcast and listen to what you guys have to say and what's going on in your lives, but I am going to miss those beautiful videos that you created, Stef, my weekly inspiration. Let's see what the future has in store!

Thanks for sharing more about the reasons why; I've been watching your vlogs since Grey was a wee little thing and you were in London. I've stuck with you throughout the years and have loved seeing your work grow/change along with your family. Will very much miss the vlogs but will try to acclimate to the podcast format instead... and maybe I'll also just re-watch your past videos as well. All the best to you.
I agree with many of the commenters on here, the early days were lovely, the content was such a breath of fresh air, sharing a small corner of your (then) London life with the world. More often than not, my Sundays started with a cup of tea and the next episode of the vlog. Your content got consistently better and it was pure escapism as you juggled content creation and being new parents. I was blown away by some of the photography and moments captured over the years with Rufus & Grayson and I thought about how lovely it would be for them to watch this when they are your age now (what the vlog set out to do). I mean, imagine having such a catalogue of your early life in technicolour detail!
Then, for me, things gradually changed and I found myself really having to be in the mood to watch and I just couldn’t see past the skits and the ‘Stef show’ monologues with silly accents. Although initially a bit light hearted & different, they turned into angry, contradictory political rants and it became uncomfortable to watch so that’s when I stopped.
I do return to the channel from time to time to see what’s new and I can imagine how hard it must be to create fresh content but remember the old adage, ‘less is more’. I really hope one day we’ll see you reinvented and producing something as visually memorable & captivating as the early days.
Aw this makes me sad. Don’t change to do stuff that doesn’t feel right for you!! I’ve been watching for years and years and your content is so amazing! I truly don’t understand why you don’t have more subscribers.

For the dogs: I recommend the sunbeam ultrasonic egg dog trainer. You can set it to make a high pitch beep when the dog barks (or someone shouts) to quiet the dog. Idk if you have it in the UK, but maybe something similar, at least. We got one for my Labrador who was killing my soul with his bellowing barks at 5a every damn day when my husband would leave for work. Now he doesn’t bark, so we leave it off all the time, and if he gets over excited then just the threat of turning it on is enough to get him to listen. Reviews are mixed but for my family and I, it’s been a god-send.
It might help with George’s barking, but you could also use it as a training tool for your new little girl if she’s not listening.
