- The People's Convoy, one of several trucker protests crossing the country to protest COVID-19 mandates and government overreach, passed into the Columbus area at 3:30 p.m. March 3, 2022. About 150 people gathered at the Rt. 142 bridge over I-70 in Madison County to support the convoy.

I was in the Convoy. Almost every single overpass was completely loaded with people showing us some love and support!!!! THANK YOU for showing us humble truckers some love!!!
