Might be the most unique layout for a family coaster I’ve ever seen. The idea of two completely different experiences on the same track is crazy and really well done here.

I would say it’s currently the most unique layout of a coaster PERIOD. I can’t think of any others where a train can traverse a section of track facing physically in two different directions.
Sure, backwards on a non shuttle is nothing new these days.
Everest, Thir13en, Hagrid, Top Thrill 2…
But like this… it’s amazing one of the major players didn’t pull this off first.

this is one of the coolest family coaster layouts I've ever seen
2 things 1. I thought this was Vekoma. 2. It reminds me of fire chaser express at Dollywood but not as tall and more intricate.

Its not Klondike Mine Train but its a unique and quite thrilling lay-out for a family ride. I do miss the more thrill-seeker aimed rides Drayon Manor used to have.

Wow, same track, but two deferent experience!
Was at Drayton Manor yesterday hoping to try this but arrived to find the ride had got stuck with people on it for nearly 2 hours. Poor sods.
It would be cool if they expanded on this and made track switch loop sections. So for one mode you would go through one section forward and in another mode, the same section backward. You wouldn't know if you were going to be shot backward or forwards. If backwards, you would go right out onto the track section, but if forwards, it would be a short loop around that connected back to the same section. At the end of the ride, they would just have a small spur where if you went backwards you would go through a track switch into a spur and then pull back forwards into the station. If you were going straight you would just pull into the station. The spur could also double as an ada loading area, but that would mean no backward rides while ada is loading and ada would only get backward rides.
The only moment of randomness in this design is whether you go over the lift at the start or not.
I think they should have got a b&m Wing like at chessington.But I think it's still a really cool ride.

Man this is so freaking cool. If I ever open an amusement park this model will be the first built. Along with a medium scale GCI.

A mode kinda gives a family style swing launch vibe. With the lithill backwards functioning as the 'spike'.

That's clever! Is there any practical benefit to offering two different experiences, like being able to have more trains on the track or higher volume per hour or something? Or is it just for the uniqueness?

Or block section seems to not work properly or the staff are facked up slow with checking restraints. As soon as a train leaves that barn block break another train must enter the track, or your capacity is not even 1000 an hour

Actually, it moves pretty quickly. They always run two trains minimum, but it can run three on busy days. Operations on this coaster are quick.
Drayton operations are famously dogshit, hopefully they shape up with the increased footfall
