- My Last week of Ultra Marathon training before I run the Wall a 70 Mile Ultra organised by Rat race from Carlisle to Newcastle in one day. This week I have my most intense week of training yet covering over 72km or 45 miles at over 100kg bodyweight or 220lbs.
Have I done enough in my quest to transition from Strongman to Ultra runner?
I am running the Wall for Hearing Dogs for Deaf people if you would like to support here's the link www.justgiving...

you've got this
It doesn’t matter how much training you do sometimes you never feel ready
Ain’t that the truth
You got this ❤
😋😋😋
That's a big old week of training. Nice work. I like that idea of practicing the walking pace. Shires and Spires was my longest ever race. Tackling the Wall now is very impressive mate! Can't wait to see you smash that one 👍🏃♂️
Cheers the pace of shires and spires killed me but mainly because of the walking sections my running pace is relatively consistent (there’s only so slow you can go before it’s not running lol)
But the walking it’s so easy to drop from a 10 m/km to a 14 without really noticing when you’re tired or on an mountain (I’ve decided naseby is built on a mountain)
@@TheHeavyweightRunner 😂 Can confirm the Naseby mountain theory!
Big mileage, well done, excited to watch more of your videos 🔥🔥
Thanks hopefully will have the 70 miler out soon just a lot of footage to go through :) really appreciate you watching
@@TheHeavyweightRunner The editing will probably be harder than running the 70 miles 😂😂 I know I find that with the longer races
100%
@@raleyadventures def the hardest video I’ve edited
Rain
Only on the first one though so can’t complain
