Lance said, in order to be successful you have to be resilient and he is a product of that word and as a result he is able to stay calm in every situation.
These should be the kind of Filipino politicians we wish we would have. Intelligent ,articulate, calm and with class. We would be more than Singapore in no time!
My husband asked me what I was watching. He wasn't seeing my screen. I told him Lance is being interviewed. Tapos sabi nya, "Wow buti pumayag magpa-interview kay Boy Abunda." Nagulat siya when I told him it's JAZA. So yes, we both agree that JAZA is a good host
There is no other better host than JAZA, even better than hosts of other established media networks. Kudos to BPI for convincing him to do this hosting job. Can't wait for the next episode.
The Gokongwei siblings are all humble and down to earth. If you get to meet them, you’ll never think they’re one of the richest families in the country. Super simple and lowkey.
If I hadn’t read the comment section, I would have thought JAZA is a real talk show host. The interview was so relaxed and engaging. I look forward to more intelligent conversations like this, it’s like a breath of fresh air from all the idiocy prevalent in todays social media.
so, short story, I used to work for Robinson's Homes Inc. One time, Lance went to visit one of our properties/project. Lance was just in a non-luxury car, and just in normal clothes, di rin siya kilala ng project guard namin. so di sya pinapasok. So Lance called our VP, and our VP called or Manager to let Lance in. Lumuwa mata ng manager ko, natataranta. then we called the guard post at sinabihan kung sino yun gustong pumasok. Hahaha. Then Lance commends the guard, for doing his job. Di mn lang nagalit, what so ever. guso rin sana magalit ng manager nmn sa guard, pero kung di nga nagalit si Lance, siya pa.
I read somewhere about 7 years ago that a similar situation happened to JAZA and FZA. The brothers love to explore the countryside with their motorbikes and realized that they're quite near an Ayala project so they decided to visit it. When they got there, they weren't allowed by the guards to enter the area. I forgot how the story ended but they probably got in the same way Lance did - by calling one of their managers.
I think any person, whether VIP or not, should not be mad if guards will follow protocol. Marami lang kasing guards na barumbado talaga. Dapat strict but courteous pa din. 😁
I used to work in Cebu Pacific and I can attest to this comment. Sir Lance is genuinely good boss. Sobrang low-key and never siya nagpaVIP treatment talaga.
I agree. I have a friend who went to business school and later on his circle kept growing. His mindset also changed. Whenever he talks to us, he’s very motivated and actually pushes us to look for better opportunities and do better in life. His friends were like CEOs of big companies and some became his mentor too. He runs his own beauty clinic now.
Just found this and I just smile the whole time listening to them. Im amazed these CEOs or owners of the biggest companies have their funny side as well.
I’ve been to their house (opposite ng Buendia lang) as my boss’s request, before to service his kid’s Macs but didn’t meet him. Pero napakabait ng maybahay and their kids. Very down to earth kahit apakayaman nila. 🙏🏼
DAMN 2 of the most PROMINENT name in the PH business, i really love their humor very down to earth...I love Robinson & Ayala Malls..............Thank you
I am happy to see that we now have local business moguls getting together in this kind of set up just like what David Rubenstein is doing. We can understand him but this is something local entrepreneurs can relate to. Boss JAZA, I hope you read the comments section. This is GREAT content. I hope that you can find the time to continue doing this because this what we need. This will definitely inspire Filipino Entrepreneurs.
OMG! I feel so happy and blessed to be able to watch these two big brains talking to each other. Thank you BPI for making it happened! Indeed, it is a once in lifetime interview.
Jaimes a good dude, i know a lot of start up founders who have met him and they say hes a good guy, considering he runs such a large conglomerate i love it that he gets involved with the entrepreneur community. Hope he keeps heading down this path.
Circle goals! 💯 JAZA's hosting skill is the best, very articulate 😍👏🏽 I always join business webinars and I'm lucky that last week he spoke abt E-Government. I truly admire JAZA's communication skills, I practice all the time so I could speak like him one day, not in interview mode but in board meetings 🔥 both entrepreneurial rockstars, Lance and JAZA are eloquent leaders despite of them being born with a GOLDEN spoon 😆 (I know it but just to exag). God bless and more power to Ayala Corp and JG Summit. One day, I'll be working WITH you and I hope to meet you both in person...
Jaza may have a job in his company forever but he were to dabble in other areas he would be a fantastic talk show host, he is articulate intelligent and a fair amount of humor, he'll give boy abunda a run for his money😀 nice to see business arch rivals lighting up a bit though
I subscribed because I like the way he interacts with his guest👏👏👏👏👏 Mr. Jaime is way much better interviewer than any of the so called “journalists” in the Philippines.👍❤️❤️❤️
I think contents like this needs to be produced more. You see, this kind of contents breaks the social norm of tycoons to the public as someone who are difficult to reach. In a world were there are falls millionaire-claims and social media millionaire brags, this kind of content puts a new and I think a real meaning to what does it mean to be a millionaire or billionaire.
I'm enjoying to watch this intelligent conversation.... Both tycoon for sure they can relate to each other...... From a linniage of Spanish-german and Chinese on the other side but both having a big Filipino hearth...... Mabuhay Po!!!!!!!! GOD bless always .......
I had an opportunity to meet JAZA and other ayala-affiliated CEOs during their Qualimed roadshow. JAZA had been by far, the most down-to-earth among them. Kudos to BPI, amazing content. 👌💯
More of this please! I’ve been watching JAZA’s vlogs I must say. That’s what I like with them they are not afraid to try new things and who would have thought that we’ll be watching JAZA himself as the host! Yey!
The reason JAZA is a good host is because the segment means no drama..no need to derail what answers needs to be heard..unlike sa media meron tlgang tinutumbok na chismis or pasabog
Class, snappy, and sharp, Sirs JAZA and Lance G. I love the scouting at Robinsons of JAZA. That’s it, Sir.😊 I am a loyal BPI and Robinson Supermarket customer and it is refreshing to see them both very professional. All the best mga lodi Sirs! Thanks BPI! ❤️
Love the kindness and value for progress of Ayalas and Gokongweis.. Deeply praying for a full transition to no msg, no sweetener but stevia or other healthier sweetener variant of all the snacks from my childhood..
Its mind blowing to watch as no one will ever imagine the CEOs of two largest conglomeratess in the country could have as candid and open hearted conversation, one might think as if they were old buddies, credit to Jaime who is such an incredible host at the same time
I respect these two Icons . You have inspired many to become successful ... Your reputation and hardwork has inspired many entrepreneurs and Businessmen.
I learn true rich people are not flashy and tend to be humble. Those whose wealth is not so much are the ones who have the tendency to brag. Thanks sirs for this learning episode.
New subscriber here. Men who run successful empires talk fast. They act fast too, I am sure. How rich Filipinos will be if only these men and their like are running the government! God bless you more and may He continue to prosper your conglomerates!
Love their sense of humor I thought being these giants in the business made them stiff and strict. But no, what they really have are pure CHARISMA that's why they are successful.
Wow.. Such a nice conversatoon of the two most giant CEO of the most respective business industries here in our country.. Saludo po sa inyo nga sir.. I am a bpi lover too and my fave robinsons galeria ♥️♥️

thank you for sharing your lives with us; bringing up that urban legend was unexpected. growing up in Mindanao and Visayas, I also learned about a similar legend about the Gaisano department stores. God bless our business men in the Phil

Kahit angat na sa buhay si Lance. His dad thought him from being a typical employee doing boring job task to understand the economics of their retail business back in the days to able to run a conglomerate business empire in the Philippines. Nice kaayo.
Something youngsters should be watching.. Rare to see a master in business having a session with another master in same field. Please create contents like this.
This is what I am proud of. Pinoy is Pinoy and they show success as Filipino citizens, kahit May halo pang ibang foreign blood. Dito nga sa ganito nagulat ang isang German travel journalist friend ng family namin when he first came to the Philippines and stayed for about 2 years, just about 10 years ago. In Germany daw kasi majority ay Caucasian, yet during those 2 years daw, he kept on interviewing people and got so surprised kasi daw, he met Korean looking, Arab looking, European looking, African looking, people. To his amazement, they were all Filipino citizens! Sabi ko Ilang centuries nga naman ng interracial marriages kasi. Obviously, this still happens up to present day, kaya nga kung titignan nyo ang recent SEA games, no typical Pinoy looking Athlete.(Mayroon nga bang Pinoy looking?).
I don't envy their wealth, but their ability to engage in a genuinely classy conversation. I think it's worth a lot to work for personally.
Lance said, in order to be successful you have to be resilient and he is a product of that word and as a result he is able to stay calm in every situation.
They are both well trained by their fathers who are the largest conglomerates owners, and dont forget, they are competiting with each and one anothers
Couldnt agree more
Fascinating topic to watch!
It’s called being professional.
Never thought I’d be watching a tycoon interview another tycoon. This is quality content. Great job BPI!! JAZA’s a natural

I mean... Ayala owns BPI so it shouldn't be hard to convince him

Are you sure?
Exactly, my two cents. Meron matutunan and gagawin.

Jaza is using one of the Dale Carnegie rules on how to be win friends and influence people - "Always say their name".
Noticed it too.
Saw the video through tiktok and now, I am subscribed! It is more refreshing to listen to these successful businessmen than the country's politician.
I'm astound by Jaime Ayala's hosting skills. He could definitely be a great host for Miss Universe!
