I really liked this - it's always cool to hear bands do their own version of songs from other artists. Now that I hear this, I'd love to hear their interpretation of other songs from Achtung Baby! - I feel like they would have some cool takes on that album.
@Megarobotsquadron I shouldn't say often, but for a string of shows, 2 of which I saw Corgan in the audience (who wouldn't notice this gentle giant) Bono (who sings 5-10 other band snippets per show) added Bullet with Butterfly Wings, I've also heard Bono add 1979 and Cherub Rock. I've seen SP 10+ all really good shows

An adventurous cover, but it needs the Edge’s chimey, bell-like notes during the chorus. Amazing how much those add light and air to this song. Otherwise it seems so dark.

U2 is my favorite band and I usually hate when other bands try to cover them, but this version hit hard and sounded amazing!

There are other songs in the U2 catalogue that would cross over better to SP world. For example, Bullet the Blue Sky.
Heck, there are others just from Achtung Baby! Something like either The Fly or especially Acrobat would probably go over well!
