Huck, “chicken butt”! “You know my Aunt Sammy”? “Ok bye”! Too cute Josh, hopefully one day he and your future child will be outdoors with you! Great video!
Was gifted my Uncle's 70s vintage Bear Kodiak recurve after he passed last winter; the journey since has been humbling for this 30 year compound hunter. Looking forward to getting it in the woods this fall. Thanks for the video
Changing over to trad bow myself and find myself relatively overwhelmed by the choices!!! Luv the look of your bow for sure and clearly your driving tacs with it!!! Hope to be doin it myself soon.
I killed my first P&Y buck with a longbow in 2006. I retired it because it required too much practice just to be proficient at 20 yards. With my compound, I can shoot 15 arrows a day and maintain my proficiency from point blank range out to 60 yards. Good luck this fall
Love that broad head. I shoot iron will single bevel with bleeders and they're awesome. They hold an edge incredibly well. Super high quality steel. Those razor broad heads look very similar. People say that you don't get a good blood trail with single bevel. I've shot 6 deer with them over the years, and the blood trail has always been fantastic. Clean pass through every time. Really want to get a long bow.
Kids are awesome , he is your buddy for life, great video!!! Dan is ok but the little man is awesome 😊, no offense to the serial killer enjoy all you do for our sport and industry, single bevels are the bomb !!! Tool steel is where it’s at, I shoot a grizzly stick Masai 200 grain
Its a 60 in bow...sorry forgot to mention that. I think the grip is high wrist but I'm honestly not sure on that one either. They are just the standard longbow limbs from south.
Your son gives spice to the show, don't cut him off ! ,,, I saw some features of the Acadian Woods bow (flat bow, not long bow) on your bow. is it one?
Love your setup! Really loved how patient you were with your son. Being a good Dad is way more important than video. Good job!
Lil man had the Crocks in sport mode, Dad stood no chance 😅

It’s always nice to have a good helper with you 😜
Beautiful bow, glad to see more hunters wanting to know more about trad.

A student of form. Good for you. Lots of mental discipline there.

Learned a lot!! Thanks Josh! Hiiii Huck - Aunt Sami LOVES YOU!

I 100% agree with you about the tab
Love my Eichler tab!

Enjoy the journey. Don't get hung up on a type or style of bow. And never get attached to an arrow.

Have you tried the vantage point archery 200 single bevel it’s all one piece there’s no ferrule to break
You plan on ever going full trad. Or even using it more
Maybe one day... its much harder.
It's a commitment. Just like marriage, you had better know exactly what you are getting into...
Looks like it might be cocobolo wood
What is the length of your bow? Do you know which grip you have on the handle and are the limbs ACS version? Thanks

Chicken butt
That’s not a judo point 🙄
