    Love your setup! Really loved how patient you were with your son. Being a good Dad is way more important than video. Good job!

    Was gifted my Uncle's 70s vintage Bear Kodiak recurve after he passed last winter; the journey since has been humbling for this 30 year compound hunter. Looking forward to getting it in the woods this fall. Thanks for the video

      Enjoy the journey. Don't get hung up on a type or style of bow. And never get attached to an arrow.

    I killed my first P&Y buck with a longbow in 2006. I retired it because it required too much practice just to be proficient at 20 yards. With my compound, I can shoot 15 arrows a day and maintain my proficiency from point blank range out to 60 yards. Good luck this fall

    Love that broad head. I shoot iron will single bevel with bleeders and they're awesome. They hold an edge incredibly well. Super high quality steel. Those razor broad heads look very similar. People say that you don't get a good blood trail with single bevel. I've shot 6 deer with them over the years, and the blood trail has always been fantastic. Clean pass through every time. Really want to get a long bow.

    • @beforetheecho
      @beforetheecho Год назад

      Its a 60 in bow...sorry forgot to mention that. I think the grip is high wrist but I'm honestly not sure on that one either. They are just the standard longbow limbs from south.

    Your son gives spice to the show, don't cut him off ! ,,, I saw some features of the Acadian Woods bow (flat bow, not long bow) on your bow. is it one?
