After a year and a half of trying to conceive with my Husband, I became pregnant. We were so over joyed and prayed "your will be done Lord.". Soon after, I found out I miscarried. I cried and called out to God and said "It is well with my soul.". No matter what struggle we are going through never forget that God's will is just and good. I praise the Lord even in my sorrows. And I thank Jesus for giving me even just one moment to be the Mommy to a beautiful soul. I love my sweet baby in Heaven and can't wait to meet him or her someday. Psalm 18:2 has given me such peace!
*Edit* Praise Report: I'm 19 weeks pregnant with our beautiful little boy. God is Faithful on every promise! Please never give up hope.

Please pray for me to trust that God will put good people in my life to love me. I am so depressed, so tired of being hurt.
No matter what happens....whenever I am in distress or I am stressed or just not feeling myself, I play this. I pray to God about it (sometimes to be honest) and I always felt that God too would not be interested in listening to my prayers....but in a Bible Study I heard that no matter what happens God is always listening. Hence, no matter what happens I take it to the Lord in prayer. He is that one friend that will listen to you and not laugh or shut you off but he will sit with you and listen to you, he will wipe off your tears and open a way just for you. Never lose hope, take it to the Lord in prayer and no matter how small or big your prayer is God will listen to it. Have Faith in Christ and that’s all you will ever need to be Happy. 😇

A wonderful song of hope in troubled times. In Christ alone I put my trust.
The man loses his son to scarlet fever. A little while later he loses his four daughters to a wreck at sea. Immediately after the wreck he sails to meet his wife and writes this song. Through all this travesty Horatio Spafford never lost his love for God and his faith that better days were to come. Amazing human being.

Superfly Samoan My son, then 8 was run over by a 6 wheel dump truck. We drove to the children's hospital 50 miles away Wondering if he was still alive. I was praying in the Spirit the whole time and told God that my son really belonged to Him and no matter what, I will trust in him. This song then came singing in my mind and for the first time I cried. Not in dispair, but in awe of God's mercy through Jesus Christ.

I had heard this song before, I needed to find it this morning again so badly. It helped me through momma's fast moving cancer and sudden death. I have been going through so many things, and needed momma to talk to this morning. While lying here crying, I remembered this song. No matter what happens IT IS WELL WITH MY SOUL. I'm a non Christian from India and I got to know about BYU vocal point recently. U ppl are just amazing. Ur songs draw me close to the Lord and I'm happy about that. Especially this song has brought me even more closer to him because my family is in deep water and we are completely helpless. Anyways....... it is well with my soul. Jesus asked His disciples: "Who do men say that I am ?" Apparently, the question is still ongoing in the world
If Paul clearly warned of a false gospel and a false Christ being preached, then shouldn't you also consider the warning?
If you still think there is only one Jesus, then these different versions will give you pause

for the Unitarian he is an extranordinarily good man
for the Later Day Saint, Jesus is also a created being, one god among many other gods, and the brother of Lucifer
for the Christian Scientist he is but a Divine Principle
Jesus made it very clear that if you do not believe He is the Eternal Jehovah God that Moses talked to and listened to on Mt Sinai, you will die in your sin.....the sin of unbelief. (Jn 8:24) John the beloved said: "All things were made through Him and without Him, nothing was made that was made" (Jn1:3)
He cannot be redefined to suit a cult founders beliefs or ideas, which are stated above
In the 8th chapter of John,vs 12-59, Jesus gave a clear dialog of EXACTLY who He is, that He and the father are ONE, and ended the dialog by saying: " before Abraham was I AM. (eternally existent)
IF YOU ARE FOLLOWING THE WRONG JESUS, YOU WILL NOT ENTER THE KINGDOM OF HEAVEN

And that it’s sung by a group from Brigham Young University, which is affiliated with the Church of Jesus Christ of the Latter Day Saints? The whole song is about the “invisible man”.
This song is dedicated to his brother who died. There wasn’t a dry eye in the room while filming this. One of the singers commented on here about it and it’s really sad :/

My Mother went into her coma 1year ago yesterday, she passed on the night of the 14th with her hand in mine. I arranged for an a capella group to sing this at her Celebration of Life. I have peace because All is Well with Her Soul.
May God Almighty be with you and with your mother's spirit. She is at peace, and never will suffer another day in her life.

You probably know the story behind this song. After all this guy had been through and how fresh it was, it amazes me that he talks about how Good forgave his sins. AMAZING!!! What's more remarkable than that...other than the fact that God actually does forgive sin.

This beautiful song has special meaning to me. Last year 3 of our children got divorced. When the third one came to me and told me my soul felt like I was in a battle ground worrying about my grand children. One early morning the spirit whispered the melody and words "It is well, it is well with my soul" I woke up singing the phrase. I had never heard this song before. I googled the phrase and found the story of Horatio Spafford. From his pain and anguish he reached deep into his testimony of Christ to move forward from his loss. I realized that I had not suffered that kind of loss and this song has given me peace in accepting the things I cannot change and to move forward in Faith. I was ecstatic when I found that Vocal Point (my favorite A capella group sang this song!!!! Thank you guys it's such a feast to listen to it!

I asked the Lord for a vehicle to traverse my soul to a place of rest...and this song was the first thing that came to my mind ❤ The suffering I've endured, both external and internal, is my lot, and He shares it with me, and carries me when I can barely carry myself, let alone the burden. He ALWAYS makes it well, and recently revealed the answer that will guide me to recovery and healing. Although it will be a long road, it TRULY is finally well with my soul! What a kind, beautiful, loving and merciful Lord we serve ❤

One of my Most Favorite Hymns~~Love This Rendition !!~~Trusted Christ as My Savior when I was 16. I am 63 yrs old now & can not even begin to say to tell you all the things I have been through that for many, many years I ask : "Why Lord?" Met my ex at a great Bible College in the 70s....quit college a few credits shy of being a Senior. After marrying this man who professed he wanted to work in a ministry with children~~he told me in May 78 that he was quitting college & wanted to move back to his homestae & be a cop. The shock that went through me was when he said that God was not real to him & he no relationship with Him. I married the wrong man indeed and to this day his disregard to God, his selfishness and unfaithfulness in our marriage resulted in a divorce I believed I would never be a part of. Our sons I believed trusted Christ as their Savior when they were young. They are not part of my life. The pain goes through my heart & I live with this lose daily. I have to stay in The Word to be able to get through every single day. My true Soul Mate I married in 1998~~he has been faithful to God & me. Such a Sweet Spirit to help me on the days I seem to not be able to cope. With the many loses in my life beyond the lose of a family~~I have so many health issues that it seems to never end. I am ready for my New Body Anytime~~God knows our days. ...I plan to Serve Him especially with Witnessnig to others the Gospel of Christ.. I am so grateful for what God has done & through chronic pain & loss I can say: " IT IS WELL, IT IS WELL, WITH MY SOUL." !!

I must say, I'm not thrilled with the Morman Church, but BYU vocal point is most excellent, & I do keep coming back to this song often for uplifting, and in my time of need. So very well done, BYU/vocal point. Upon reflection, the US has been a haven for many religions to find sanction. I am so grateful to be living in this kind of democracy.

Faith has produced some of the most beautiful music in the history of man. From the Christian tradition, to the Muslim tradition, to all the varied faiths in the world. Though they are all fairy tales, they have gifted us with glorious music. And for that, I am grateful.

Thank you for this. Lost my father (Rev.Awatt Anguikoh Philip) 2nd March 2019 after he has been sick for a while. This was the first song that came to my mind. We sang this song for his burial service and till date i still sing it. Being the only child and loosing my Dad is the most painful thing to happen to me but i give God the glory for i know he is in a better place.

Douglas IRL The man had faith, but it speaks to the Peace that GOD can give...the peace that passes ALL UNDERSTANDING!
I didn't know much about the back story of this hymn but knew it was one of my father's favorites. We're currently 10 days out from five years ago I sang this hymn at his funeral and in looking up videos to practice I found the back story.
It's become one of my favorites now as well with the sudden loss of my wife followed by my father 13 months to the day I have to put my faith in Him and trust I will see them all again.

I grew up up In a southern Baptist Church, Sang in the choir with my mother as the pianist. This was always my favorite hymn. Beautiful rendition that that makes me remember sitting under the piano while Mom practiced.I miss her so much. Thank you!

I sang in the choir of a Southern Baptist Church for many years. As an alto, I loved to sing the the call and response of the chorus. The meaning of the words and beautiful melody and harmony make this my favorite hymn.

I woke this morning with this song in my heart. It was played often in the little church I grew up in and hearing it always brought me peace. They did not sing it because, as Mormons, they do not believe it. Sadly, they have altered a beautiful gospel hymn to suit their false doctrine.
As a Mormon myself, I can say we do believe that we can be forgiven through the Atonement. I love this verse as well. I think the reason they cut it out is because they only needed three verses: one for Logan, one for Kyle, and one for the amazing key change. So, they picked the ones that most suited their message, as well as the harmonies in the song itself.
I too am a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints (Mormon is a nickname they gave us almost 200 years ago). You may never see this good Christopher, but still I respond as a second testimony- we do believe in Jesus Christ as our Savior, our Rescuer, the Only freedom from sin. As indicated by the name of our church, he is our Head and our Hope- our everything. Hope deeply I love Him and what he has done to rescue us all!
