As much as this really isn't the best game in the franchise, I kind of love how it goes completely off the rails in Egypt. America: You fight a bunch of bikers. China: You fight a bunch of karate dudes. Japan: Samurai and ninjas. Italy: Gladiator dudes for some reason. Egypt: You get warped into an alternate dimension with living tree people and then giant corpse hands try to trap you and then ghost gladiator and then a huge cyclops mummy brain monster and then stone golems with a magic-wielding old lady and then the real mummy and cleopatra and you win!
Gotta love how Billy and Jimmy brought the whole crew with them for this adventure. they got their brother along with some kung fu experts, some karate dudes and some body builders. 😶🌫

The toss does 36 in the US version, up from the japanese 20. And the bolts? 96 per, up from 50. Mind you, the starting player characters only have 230 hitpoints. Yeah. The U.S. version also features item shops where players could use additional credits to purchase in-game items such as weapons, additional moves and new playable characters in one of the earliest forms of microtransactions in a video game, although this system would end up being removed in the later-released Japanese version of the game in favor of a conventional character select feature similar to Golden Axe or Final Fight.
Yeah, the US version of this game was far worse than the better balanced Japanese version. In the end of the day though, it’s Double Dragon 3, which is still just okay at best in Japan

i havent played this game in multiplayer and despite it being REALLY hard i think playing it with friends its like playing mario kart wii multiplayer everyone laughs how the game makes them lose so badly and i bet this game is easier with friends also,i think this is the best music out of the original trilogy and despite the game having troble with the sprites moving,if the screen isnt scrolling at least at least they are different,1 and 2 graphics are great,but 2 is really similar to the first one but to put it simple,the original trilogy of dd is good 3 is just,hard,really hard (jezz,what a long comment i just wrote)
