Love! I followed this pattern and put it up above my kitchen window, it adds so much to the space. However, I used 100 inches of macrame cord for each knot, as it says in the comments. For anyone else who does the pattern, I would recommend shortening that quite a bit. I ended up with about 50” leftover on each cord. If you tie your knots looser and further apart you may need more, but definitely won’t use the full 100”. Now I have tons of short cord that I can’t really do anything with :/

💙 Extra cord is great for adding fringe, tassels, rya knots, and sometimes you can even make feathers with it. Thank you for using my tutorial 💕

I had the same problem. Really shouldn't start with 100 inches, its far too long for this design and lots of wasted cord.

I love your design and am following to do something similar but using 4mm and 180cm across. I got to the horizontal double half hitches with ONLY short cords and they are too wide. Suggestions please?

How long did you cut your macramé cord for this curtain. I want my curtain to be approximately 14 inches long by 48 inches across.

It looks like you start the curtain on the big white rod and then in the next clip it's on the smaller rod? How do you do that? Is there a pdf for this pattern?

Is the length of the cords really 100”?

💙 Hello, yes it was. It’s only a short valance but it’s double layered with dense knotting
