I really enjoyed the episode, never thought Zeraki is that huge. Issac is a fresh breath of air and amazing founder, he's the kind of CEO I would go to war for.
Hello startup soko it's great to start ups flourishing in Kenya and you showing us so...could it be possible to do a show on pitfalls for start ups or better yet bring in CEOs of such that failed...it will really help in educating founders on what not to do
I do think that Isaac Nyangolo's mind should be studied because it's an out of this world mind. I've had numerous conversations with him and after each one of those, I go back home conflicted - he makes me feel moderately smart but also question if we both have 24hrs in a day. Anyway, he's really great.
When Chris talks about volatility and stability, I couldn't help to think about bitcoin. If something is stable there is an inherent internal risk. Fiat is very stable, kes usd etc. Could we apply the same theory or currency?
I think Chris is conflating some issues here. It’s more about individual personality. There are some tenured engineers who would still love to be part of a vibrant community and there are young people who would rather be mercenaries and just work. Zeraki is specifically looking for the former i.e individuals who are extroverted and would always thrive in a vibrant community regardless of age..Also, facebook is still hiring entry level guys, they haven’t stopped

Great interview, Chris has a peculiar mindset.
Lets not sugarcoat things, they employ young people because they offer cheap labor as opposed to buying into culture.
This episode has just inspired me a lot!!!💯

Karibu Sana! I am glad you found this inspiring 😊
Great interview, but it felt like an opportunity for Chris to speak his mind more
