if you stay against the pit wall all the way into turn 1 you're going to throw away all your speed trying to make the corner, you need to move away from the pit wall as far to the left as possible just before you start braking to minimise the angle you need to turn to make the corner and carry more speed through. watch any pro driver and they will be as far left as they can even to the point of their left wheel touching the runoff area where the escape road is on the left side entering turn 1.
@@RWoody1995 in this case you are wrong if you look at the track it begins to curve slightly before the pit exit so staying in a straight line on the right brings you naturally to the left without steering straight wheels are faster wheels the actual corner tightens as it falls down hill making the apex further around than you think allowing you to take a wider turn and carry more speed I've been driven and taught to drive this track in an actual car and watched many times if you watch the touring cars racing here you will see the line they take carts and open wheel racers do tend to take a wider line due to the grip and weight as they can break later on the initial part of the bend without locking up
damn, putting together that lap in 3 laps is insane! thanks as always for the guide.
Great Guide! Cheers man.
Great lap!
wrong line going through the first corner
stay against the pit wall and you can break in straight line further to the apex before turning right
This. Hugging the pit wall for the entire straight as well.
