Hao Qin yeah, If you don't go first and use your normal engines to get out 3-6k damage out or you just go for Holly Angel and then summon a bit and do your burn damage and attack last with holly angel. She often ends up before I go into the battle phase already above 3k and I often then have corobane out a couple lycoris and best case lillybell to get extrem value out of your holly angel with bringing back either corobane or best lycoris. At the end Holly angel often attacks for 4-5k, tho that much damage is often not needed as the trickstar combo already did a good chunk of damage.

The number(10,800) is the maximum amount of damage you can potentionally deal with the burn effect, assuming the following: 12(full field with 1 card in the extra monster zone and field spell zones)+6(cards in the players hand) = number of cards sent to the GY x 300(burn damage) = 5400(burn damage from one player cards) x 2(for both players) = 10,800. As a toon player I am offended that they think Toon Dark Magician is broken. Also we need more modern toon support. Get on it Konami, give us a Toon link monster
If we assume you, combined, have 58 MAIN Deck cards on your field and in your hand, the opponent has a full field, this is MR3 and both of our Pendulum Zones along with our Field Spell zone is full AND TO END IT ALL the opponent has 6 cards in their hand, according to my calculations, then Envoy of The End could deal 23 400 damage. Of course, I probably screwed up in the maths, this is an estimation. I use MR3 as it has a total of 26 playable card zones total, which equals the highest damage output
"10 Yu-Gi-Oh Cards that should be banned from tournaments, not necessarily because I actually attend tournaments and have been on the recieveing end of any of these, but just based on me reading these cards and just assuming they're broken"
There math for chaos empire is that of having both field spell zonez, all 10 spell and trap zones. All ten monster zones, both extra monster zones and each play having six cards in hand. If you pull an empire dragon off under those circumstances in today's tournament play you deserved a medal. Lol.
I don't know why people go, "In the right hands, this card can be really powerful", like yea if you build a deck around it *any* card can look powerful that's the whole point. I think that's kind of an understood fact of why casual yugioh is lots of fun.
Dzeeff, thanks to your videos I was able to get a much better understanding of the game back when I found you 1 to 2 years ago, since then I started to get back at yugioh and now I actually nearly bought everything I need for my Trickstar deck and I'm almost ready to try out the competitive side of yugioh as well. I also got thanks to your videos a really good understanding of card advantage and that that so called from the casual community deck with boss monsters are not exactly the way to go but also because of you I had so much fun again playing yugioh even that far that even tho I was still only planning to go to the competitive side of yugioh, I already looked up the meta and what they end up with as well as how to break it. Also I always loved your take on card with the competitive and casual side, it is always very interesting to hear why exactly a card saw or not saw competitive play in yugioh. Overall I can only say thank you since you were the reason I came back to yugioh and you are the reason why I can enjoy it right now so much more then back when I played yugioh about 7 years ago. Keep up the good work. (I'm sorry if there are some sentences that have incorrect gramma, I'm not too good at writing in english)
It always sucks when my opponent summons Chaos Emperor Dragon and destroys the five backrow we both have, all 12 monsters on the field, both of our field spells, and the six cards we each have in our hand and does 10,800 burn damage to me. I guess I should start playing 3 Dian Keto's.
He knows some are banned. The preamble to the article says "Today, we'll be taking a look at 10 cards that are banned, along with 10 that absolutely need to be".
"Ordeal of a Traveler should be banned" This is the most casual statement I've ever heard. I've played this card in random deck games (100 card lots take out the unplayable ones) and that was the only time I've ever had this card win a game.
I mean I wasn't expecting much from this article, but the moment the writer admitted that they don't plan for anything interfering with their plans was the moment they should have paused, read the sentence they just wrote, and decided to not write & publish this article.
But but, Dzeef, you forgot! You can have a whooping 24 cards on the field! Think about it, 5 spell/trap cards, 5 main monster zone, 1 field spell zone and 1 extra monster zone! Chaos Emperor Dragon truly op, nobody ever thought about Master Rule 4 existing... But WAIT THERE IS MORE If we run Master Rule 3, where Pendulums had their own Zone, we can put a whooping 26 cards on the field! Just think about the burn potential! Because, that, is TOTALLY why Mr. Name Really Long was good for.
3:25bits not 9600 life points, as you can have your 5 monsters, your 5 backrow, a field spell, and an extra monster. that equates to 10800, but both platers can have more than 6 cards at the time of envoy's effect activation, so the best you can get is 7200 plus 300 x how many cards in both players hands. I don't know the optimal setup to get the most amount of cards in each player's hand, but i'd estimate its somewhere around 6 cards for your opponent, and maybe upwards of 20 cards for you, abusing something like heart of the underdog or veil of darkness or something similar
"Toons are never fun to deal with." I actually do wonder if this will be true in Duel Links when XYZ monsters hit. And I mean the original really bad toon monsters here...the ones you special summon only when Toon World is on your field. I just think it would be really funny if Toon Mermaid became a power card in DL because of something like Castel, Bahamut Shark, or something really dumb like Shock Master. I know it'd still be risky, but Duel Links doesn't have anywhere near as many options as TCG.
I get the feeling that each entry was written by a different person, and that the “author” scrapped comments, Amazon reviews, ect...and just compiled them.
I played Yu-Gi-Oh exactly one time in middle school before my mom found out and ground (grounded?) me. We were super religious. I watched maybe a handful of episodes of one of the Yu-Gi-Oh shows and I couldn't even tell you which one it was. But I still watch and enjoy your content. Quality stuff 👍
Ahha another sacky one of that wins games by itself. Right now with links it became even better because you can take your opponent's link/monster and link away with it. Take a look at ocg they are very often siding mind controls and that card is a nerfed version of CoH.
I'm not gonna lie, I almost wet myself after reading the Magic: the Gathering version of this article. Can't imagine the Yu-Gi-Oh! version is any better.
Funnily enough, Wall of Revealing Light is indeed Limited right now. It has nothing to do with its actual effect however. It's just down to the fact it's a way to pay an arbitrarily large number of LP rapidly to set up dumb interactions with things like Life Equaliser.
The year is 2039, Firewall Dragon has received an errata 10 years ago limiting it's effect to SS monsters to lvl4 or lower Cyberse type, and also been limited, the Cyberse type having long been powercrept after it stopped receiving any meta relevant support since the end of Yu-Gi-Oh! VRAINS. This article's author: Firewall Dragon needs to be banned.
For the Chaos Emperor Dragon Damage.... I think they are factoring in the extra monster zones and the field spell zones, allowing both players to have 12 cards o the field and 6 in the hand.................. which shows that they payed attention to all the wrong details.
We should ban The EG cards as they can attack directly, can otk/ftk, evade destruction, draw 10 cards per turn, make all cards Pot of Greed or Magical Hats or Magic Cylinder or Lucky Punch, and causes my opponent to watch One-Punch Man for 10 hours. At least everyone plays it this way. Like if you support McNerfment needed.
Theoretically it could do up to 36,000 if you and the opponent have all 60 cards in hand, that doesn't really mean much though Maybe even 42,300 if you found a way to place 21 extra deck monsters on the field (using extra monster zones and not pendulum zones, and counting the zone that chaos emperor dragon needs to use)
Toon's don't need to be banned.

Cards that need to come off the banned list. painful choice/ Graceful charity/ pot of greed/ shock master/ shaddoll construct too 3😏😏
Red Eyes Darkness Metal Dragon was actually banned in the OCG like 6 months ago, just saying.
yes but not for the reasons stated in the video, it is banned for link shenanigans
Article Writers Don't Understand Yu-Gi-Oh! Banlist
"Pretty much the entirety of the existence of Yu-Gi-Oh!, MST has been in the game". Sounds way different if you're a native French speaker.
Pot of greed should be banned because nobody knows what it does
Comedy gold, I know
tHeY SHOULD BAN The GoDs cardS cyase They are kooLL
"10 Yu-Gi-Oh Cards that should be banned from tournaments, not necessarily because I actually attend tournaments and have been on the recieveing end of any of these, but just based on me reading these cards and just assuming they're broken"
I don't come to this channel often, but these videos always make me smile.
Good work
I saw this list on Facebook the other day and instantly thought "huh, I wonder if Dzeeff will make a video about this."
I wish they didn't errata chaos emporer dragon, just to see how it would play out
Also bring back master peace, it and thunder dragon Lord are like the only good boss monsters left
There math for chaos empire is that of having both field spell zonez, all 10 spell and trap zones. All ten monster zones, both extra monster zones and each play having six cards in hand. If you pull an empire dragon off under those circumstances in today's tournament play you deserved a medal. Lol.
I love seeing these article videos so much! Good shit dzeeff. I think this series should appear more often
Pot of greed should be ban because anyone knows the effect
I don't know why people go, "In the right hands, this card can be really powerful", like yea if you build a deck around it *any* card can look powerful that's the whole point. I think that's kind of an understood fact of why casual yugioh is lots of fun.
Can't all be Shapesnatch
In the case of bringing monsters back, there's already so many monsters with this effect, it's just stupid.
Response to article.
"Git gud, scrub."
Swordsman of Landstar? That's one of the strongest monsters in ALL of duel monsters!
*Mushroom Man wants a Word With you*
It always sucks when my opponent summons Chaos Emperor Dragon and destroys the five backrow we both have, all 12 monsters on the field, both of our field spells, and the six cards we each have in our hand and does 10,800 burn damage to me.
I guess I should start playing 3 Dian Keto's.
Yeah happened to me *plenty* of times. I gotchu dude.
I read this article a few days ago and desperately wanted a dzeeff video on it. Thank you!
You don't understand... this list is from the future, and Toon Dark magician has a new combo that searches Change of Heart.
Long awaited yugioharticlereadingvideo gottem
CED-EOTE is what gave birth to the very first ban-list well him and Yata-garusu lol
He knows some are banned. The preamble to the article says "Today, we'll be taking a look at 10 cards that are banned, along with 10 that absolutely need to be".
no one:
farfa: *sniffs for content ideas*
In all honesty, Change of Heart is not that broken anymore, change my mind
@Yee Yee mind changed, that is wayyyyy too good, I could I use it to turn 4 summon my Obelisk
Alonso Ar I’m sure you’ll have a change of heart after playing against it.
@@jasonle520 you can Mind Control me to think that
@@spyro2002 that's what I've said and if I'm not mistaken, neither are once per turns either
mind control is at 3 and nobody is playing it coh can be at 1 and not be a problem (the monster stolen can attack big deal)
"Ordeal of a Traveler should be banned" This is the most casual statement I've ever heard. I've played this card in random deck games (100 card lots take out the unplayable ones) and that was the only time I've ever had this card win a game.
That guy who always talks about volcanic support should be here any minute
*Hi I caMe hErE fOr thE tHe vOlCaNic sUpPorT*
I mean I wasn't expecting much from this article, but the moment the writer admitted that they don't plan for anything interfering with their plans was the moment they should have paused, read the sentence they just wrote, and decided to not write & publish this article.
12:12 It was limited during 2011/2012, then It got banned again, and now its limited
But WAIT
THERE IS MORE
If we run Master Rule 3, where Pendulums had their own Zone, we can put a whooping 26 cards on the field!
Just think about the burn potential!
Because, that, is TOTALLY why Mr. Name Really Long was good for.
The writer’s boss monster got bounced by ordeal of a traveler once and they never forgot
Both players having 6 cards in hand, 10 cards on board, and a field spell or a monster in the extra zone comes up so often as we all know
Incoming: Yugioh article writers don’t understand toon cards
Toon DM and Toon REBD too stronk, Toons have reached Table 500, broken!!!
Me: Plays Wall of Revealing Light
Other player: MST
Me: WAIT THATS ILLEGEL
MST doesn't negate so even if you got rid of Wall of Revealing Light its effect is still active 😛
In the preview I misread the subtitle ‘change of heart of is bad’ and now I’m here.
Red Eyes Darkness Metal Dragon is Banned in the OCG last i checked.
Not sure if it still is i could be completely wrong.
Idk I only play with tcg, traditional, or no banlist (so I can use full power zoo, nekroz, pepe, and dragon rulers)
Funny enough, I actually think Change Of Heart could come back at one and there would be no issue lol
3:24 Ah, but you're forgetting both extra monster zones and both field spell zones, adding up to 10.800 LP.
I love versing toon decks
I always used to run my grave keepers against a toon deck that my former friend had
It was brutal
For the Chaos Emperor Dragon Damage.... I think they are factoring in the extra monster zones and the field spell zones, allowing both players to have 12 cards o the field and 6 in the hand.................. which shows that they payed attention to all the wrong details.
The person who wrote this article is from a future where Change of Heart is unbanned and the meta consists of Toons and Red-Eyes cards.
I haven't even played yugioh for 6 years and I can tell the guys that make these lists have absolutely no idea what they're talking about
In pre-link format when there was extra zones for pendulums you could do the 10,800. Still not going to happen but it was possible
Theoretically it could do up to 36,000 if you and the opponent have all 60 cards in hand, that doesn't really mean much though
Maybe even 42,300 if you found a way to place 21 extra deck monsters on the field (using extra monster zones and not pendulum zones, and counting the zone that chaos emperor dragon needs to use)
