I enjoyed this - Sam Browne may be a little overshadowed by Al -But he is also an important voice from the 1930s and what a voice - there is an interview online he gave in the 1960s - a clever and nice man - who much deserves his place in musical history.
It was fairly neck and neck - Al went to America for a few years - allowing Sam to take center stage - It must be said that no better man to do so - Sam was also an outstanding singer - very different from Al - the two from a popular viewpoint, will always be compared -it is a pity they never recorded together. @@alternateunreleasedshellac505
I don't know if you said somewhere that you were going to make videos of songs from artists different from Al Bowlly, anyway it doesn't bother me you did. Are you going to make more videos of other musicians in future? It would be great if you tried to "revive" the songs of artists from that era that are almost completely forgotten. Thank you for the video anyway. You did a great job with this footage considering you had never (at least on this channel) worked with it.
Hi Adrian, it would be hard for me to resist not to add a few different artists from the Al bowlly era. Specailly Sam Browne. There's always room for others from the Golden Age of AL bowlly, I see them as guests. Although Al Bowlly will be the main feature. 👍
That's one I'd love to do and I've been thinking about it but was keeping it on hold because someone has taken a great effort of doing one already. Oh well you've pushed me now. I'm gonna have to do it but I'm not complaining 😄👍
Magnifique 😊
Tan de respeto aquello en esas épocas bien señoriales!!!
Qué distinguido y elegante!!!
Belleza en realidad!!!
Es una joya toda esa música ❤!!!
Dios les dé el cielo a todas esas personas!!! Lástima no poder vivir esos tiempos bellos!!!
What a beautiful music!!!❤

Definatly agree with that Anthony. I'm gonna look for interview, sounds great! 👍
Wasn't Sam Browne more popular than Bowlly in the 1930s?

I hope I'll never forget this channel❤

@@thegoldenageofalbowlly2759 Ok, thanks for the clarification.
Could you do a music video of "My Hat's On The Side Of My Head" with Bowlly?

Sam browne was a good one! Though Al Bowlly was the top singer in the UK, Sam was still on the charts
