My Virgin Kitchen is a RUclips cooking channel I created when I wanted to teach myself how to cook and create a video diary of the journey / mrbarrylewis . I have never had a professional lesson & am just your every day chap attempting recipes to inspire you guys to try too. Most uploads are how to recipe cooking videos, but some fun is had too on Sunday Funday when anything goes, including giant foods, mini foods, taste testing foods sent from around the World, food gadgets and many more. Any requests for recipes / cool stuff you've seen let me know! I try my best to reply to as many comments as possible, but please interact with eachother and be respectful :-) #barrylewis
Before i clicked this video i had no idea what Dismaland was about or was supposed to mean, I must say it looks pretty awesome.
Dismaland seems like the kind of place I would very happily (?) work.
Unfortunately, they'd probably fire me for being too "in-character" with too many customers.
Oh Banksy! I love his work, it's always so on point with the edgyness but still so beautiful! I was in NY when he was selling original pictures for like 50$, but only heard about it afterwards...Thanks for this video! It's nice to see Dismaland since I can't go!
I come from just outside WSM and recently went to Dismaland. It was amazing seeing the place I spent so many summers in as a kid getting so much attention and business. Banksy - What a legend!

For the longest time I've been certain I recognised the town you live in. It was one of the giant food videos where James was in the shot as you drove home and the buildings went by in the background. Those buildings are forever engrained in my mind's eye because I used to date a girl from Weston and took in almost every detail of the town whenever we drove around. For some reason that specific row of houses along the main road stuck. Seeing the waterfront in this video really made me sure, then you confirmed it by saying it xD

Thanks for the Tropicana photo & memories as I was curious about what it must have been like before. I loved Dismaland and wish I could have stayed all day. If I were rich I would have bought half of the paintings of the exhibition.
Traveled from London there yesterday, absolutely fantastic, could have spent days in there
Love this kind of thing; since I don't live in the UK this gives me a fun little glimpse.
Glad to see the weather was good for you. When I went I needed to wait in the queue for four hours in the freezing cold rain! Still worth it though.
I actually hate Disney purely because of the experiences I had at the the Florida Disney World as a child, I lived nearby and went every few years, never having a single good experience. Just hot miserable line waiting or queuing as you call it. Orlando also happens to be one of the most frequent Thunderstorm locations in the world so half the time the rides were all shut down.
So seeing that this would probably be a more pleasant experience in just about every way is pretty funny.
Even though the exhibits are thought provoking, they still manage to be fun and exciting. Great job to banksy and great video to you!

That is a place we don't have in America, but really, really should. I'm glad that you recorded it, for those of us who can't get there.
Thank you so Much! I really wanted to go down there, but living in the midlands and the train journey etc was too much for me... Personally I think from what you have shown, it shows he is a great artist along with the other artists who co operated. It was thought provoking and made you think twice. The horse meat scandal was amusing too none the less. I really enjoy art which are provocative and makes you think about life situations at times.

I live near Cribbs Causeway in Bristol, so we easily got there and in, well worth the visit.
Finally, a youtuber I know has done a vlog on Dismaland! Really wish I could have a chance of going but I live way too far away unfortunately. Looks incredible, even more so because I'm not a huge fan of Disneyland

I'd heard so much about Dismaland and, as I'm generally into alternative culture, would have loved to have visited, only it's a wee bit far to travel from the North East for the day. So, thanks for going on our behalf and posting this fascinating video :)
I was definitely proud to be local whilst this was on! I managed to go 3 times haha. I work in Tesco in town and I got to drive past there every day
I'm glad you showed this; I'm going to Weston for a holiday in October but I don't think it's going to be around then.

I drove up from Birmingham to see this after work it was so worth it

i went the first week it was open and loved it. me not being banksy's biggest fan (think he is a bit over rated) loved it. shame to see the miniature city being fenced off now. but a truly great experience. my sort of art... dark and disturbing. "art should comfort the disturbed and disturb the comfortable"

To be honest Banksy kinda lost his/their appeal to me a long time ago, at this point it just seems like the type of statements his stuff makes have already bean done to death, but this video was interesting anyhow.
