I like it when you and Ashens do collabs. You two have good dynamics together and despite Ashen being the more powerful presence, he doesn't overshadow you at all. It's pretty keen.
Same here, I really enjoy these Bashens collaborations. Barry and Stuart have good chemistry, the are able to joke around well and play off each other.
+Barry Lewis They are vegan! In the US lots of vegans won't eat them because they use bone char sugar but in the UK they use beet sugar which doesn't use bone char filtering - its the one reason why I struggle to eat healthy!
+Christian Schmidt I had some knockoff Oreos that were from some gluten free line (Glutino, maybe?), I don't think I could eat regular Oreos ever again... I mean, think of a Double Stuffed Oreo and then make the cream creamier and better tasting, and the cookies firm rather than hard.
The first thing I thought when I saw that stick thing was called King Tango, was to remember those old tango ads in the 90's with the big genie like guy who went around slapping peoples faces when they had a drink of the stuff. Only with a crown on his head now.
That tango thing reminded me of that squirty tango that used to be sold. I only saw it in a few shops, and it wasn't very long, so I'm guessing it didn't sell very well which is a shame since I loved it
The 'twisted mallows' reminded me of ashens' video 'delicious mallows' and now I can't get that song out of my head 'Delicious mallows, delicious mallows, they're fetted and they're sweaty and they make you want to Luke delicious mallows'
The lumarki look like Giotto. Also the Kinder Keks are apparently meant to be dipped in a liquid (for example milk). They hold their shape when wet and are easy for toddlers to eat. Particularly before they drop all their teeth.
Cofresh Crisps. made in leicester about 3 miles from where I live. Eat them all the time. there's chilli and lemon, they also do a Jalapeno version as well
Whenever I hang out in town with my best friend, we always bob into Poundland. They sell my favourite shampoos and conditioners cheaper than other places. They were still selling those fish and chip crisps in supermarkets in the later 90's/early 00's. They're soooo good! Forgot all about them until I noticed them in Poundland. I was pretty much restricted to Flumps, Freddos and Chomps sweet-wise. Keks is biscuit. So Kinder Keks is basically children biscuit.
Watching this oh so many years later, seeing King Tango spray hit me with a wave of nostalgia. Looking up the Tango brand, it saddens me to see how Tango Cherry hasn't been around for quite some time. And like with plenty of other food & drink products, I miss the packaging design from my youth, the diagrams of the fruit. Lilt seems to be making a bit of a comeback though, although Fanta has done away with their retro logo for a bland simplistic one. While Aldi & Lidl sell off brand with designs closer to the classic one.
sometimes things can work out dearer in poundshops. those fish n chip things are a quid, sometimes less anyway. those grill things ar the beginning are about 60-70p in supermarkets
Really glad when I saw the Nougatellis lol. I've bought those plenty of times before. Only grievance I have with them is you only get like 6 in a packet.
Found you through the inimitable Athens. I love your channel! New subscriber here, thanks so much for all the great entertainment. Three out of my three hedgehogs agree you’re awesome! 😆👍🏻❤️🦔🦔🦔
I sometimes get the Jalapeno potato grill things from Poundland, and they're pretty good. The Fish & Chips are awesome! I remember having them as a kid when they were in a red pack. But there was only S&V flavour, now you can get S&V, Pickled Onion & Curry
I made Nutella chocolate chip cookies for a French class back in high school and the Nutella oozed out like described here. It was so good. Homemade is the best for these cookies for sure.
Those crisps, both by their shape, description and how the both of you reacted to them, make me want them, as well as more commas, and a book on comma-addiction.
Im sure they just make stuff up lol, you can get those Fish N Chips everywhere, i always got some in, i love them lol, they are nothing like TuC's, they are just Salt n Vinegar.
9:10 The way he said "butter filling" sounded simultaneously like a super strong Californian accent and some kind of Irish accent and now my brain is hearing the similarities between the two..
The moment I saw those Cofresh Chilli and Lemon grills I got a sudden craving for some....I wonder if I can import some in, been ages since I last had any.
If you want a cookie with nutella in the middle the Maryland Gooeys Hazelnut cookies are pretty special. I got quite excited when I first ate one and realised what it was. They're super special goooooooooooood.
I had the King tango rolling thing from my pound shop I had it and then my tounge started stinging so bad it was stinging for about a week then it stopped I was like NEVER BUYING FOOD FROM POUND SHOP!
Ludwig Von Koopa And now I have to try these chips ahoy. Are they like the squishy Chips Ahoy ones with the chocolate cream inside? Microwaving those a few seconds before eating and it's heaven.
schalkespringer Yep. They're soft. But the Oreo cream makes them that much more Mmmmmmmmmm. Unfortunately not many of them come in a pack and they're fairly small. Wah :(
just to let anyone know.. those lemon and chili crisps are now being sold in super markets like Tesco and Sainsburys for 2.99 each! they must of done really well.. or were left over stock from somewhere mo idea!
I work in poundland and the tins aren't 50p haha they're £1 but the regular rrp is the price on the tin, although they come in offers of 2 for £1 and 3 for £1
I used to love those salt and vinegar twirly crisps - think they're still sold in Tesco. What about those potato triangles? I just remember them being ready salted. The Daily Fish and Chips are great :D
Will you have a go at a Starbucks cookie that is an oat cookie filled with Nutella?!? It is my favourite cookie ever and I would love to make it at home!
the fish n chip crisps are amazing, was sad when they disappeared when I was a kid, but im happy my local tescos have started selling them, just wish they would stop hiding them behind the trolley of digestives.
I like it when you and Ashens do collabs. You two have good dynamics together and despite Ashen being the more powerful presence, he doesn't overshadow you at all. It's pretty keen.

10 years on youtube and these two are still my favorite
Bardia Same. And will always be same.
i miss the food specials so i have to rewatch them in 2024
I realized why I like you both, You remind me of Shaun of the Dead.
YES
YES I LOVE YOU
o.o
I WANT YOUR BABIES
Hahaha
New videos by Barry and Ashen make my rod spin out of control. Holy mackeral!
That Tango Rolly reminds me of the 'Brain Licker' sweets, which were basically a roll-on sort of sweet. The liquid, I guess, is more bitter though.
I remember them!!!
Who's Brian Licker?
A curious fact about Oreos is that Oreo is itself a knockoff of Hydrox cookies which were invented four years earlier.
Oreos are vegan too I heard
+joshua powell
I thought everyone knew that Oreos came from cows?
+Barry Lewis They are vegan! In the US lots of vegans won't eat them because they use bone char sugar but in the UK they use beet sugar which doesn't use bone char filtering - its the one reason why I struggle to eat healthy!

sick
10:25 Barry: "Cover it in nuts"
Also barry, puts beans on screen
On the twisted mallow packet, it looks like Beaker from the Muppets finally went mental.
The first thing I thought when I saw that stick thing was called King Tango, was to remember those old tango ads in the 90's with the big genie like guy who went around slapping peoples faces when they had a drink of the stuff.
Only with a crown on his head now.
I love these two together. Their personalities mesh so well.

Oh my god! I have eaten the daily fish-n-chips with vinegar here in poland!
It costed around 1.50 Pounds.
They are f*cking Delicious! :)
The lumarki look like Giotto. Also the Kinder Keks are apparently meant to be dipped in a liquid (for example milk). They hold their shape when wet and are easy for toddlers to eat. Particularly before they drop all their teeth.
Wow Baz! You have over 300k subs! It wasn't very long ago when you were looking forward to 100k. Well done man. Keep up the great work
Brilliant you two work very well together.
What I really needed for a good Sunday were spaghetti and two new videos of Barry and Dr. Ashen tasting interesting food! Thanks!
I'd love it if it turned out the O2 Arena was sponsored by fake Oreos and not the telecommunications company.
Or just sponsored by oxygen
Cofresh Crisps. made in leicester about 3 miles from where I live. Eat them all the time. there's chilli and lemon, they also do a Jalapeno version as well
These two are a great combination
I was worried during the upside down King Tango bit Barry did a bad job getting goo on the rim but Ashen's tongue made quick work of that! Bravo
Stuart inhaled that flump 😂
Those biscuits are for small children XD( thats why they say "childrens biscuit") The company is a baby food producer...
They were aware
Oh, are they similar to Zwiebacks?
knock of oreos you should try are "marios best" there really nice the vanilla ice cream flavour
+Dylan west the worst ive seen on the U.S east coast is a supermarket brand called Wegman-O's and they're pretty damn awful.
+Joshua Howard Really? I've never tried them but usually wegmans store brand stuff is as good or sometimes better than the name brand version.
Dylan west chesters hotfries boi

Google it.
I love those chilli and lemon crisps. Can easily eat a full bag. I haven't seen them for a while though.

If I'm ever getting snacks or sweets I always go Poundland! It's worth it
sometimes things can work out dearer in poundshops. those fish n chip things are a quid, sometimes less anyway. those grill things ar the beginning are about 60-70p in supermarkets
also asda do proper oreo snack packs for £1.80 for 10 packs which works out cheaper than the o2 and better
You can bye the fish and chip crisps at loads of local shops in the U.k my dad loves them!!!
Really glad when I saw the Nougatellis lol.
I've bought those plenty of times before. Only grievance I have with them is you only get like 6 in a packet.

I LOVE those Cofresh Chilli and Lemon! Found them years ago in a local market, now Tesco do them. Epic snack.
Used to be a corn snack called Wackies back in the late 70s that were shaped like that. They were salt n vinegar flavoured.
keks is biscuits in German so kinder keks means children biscuits
Yes I know.
Helen Arden I...don't think that was directed at you...
Yes I know.
kEK.
Yeah I'm learning german and der Keks sound so nice so I never forget it's biscuits
Holy hell that Rolly thing is so incredibly awkwardly suggestive to eat.
Pajama Sam Tango have quite a suggestive, cheeky branding so it was probably deliberate

We have the O2 here in Denmark to. They are ok and waaaaaay cheaper. I use them if I have a recipe that calls for Oreos
these crispy balls with the hazelnut cream reminded me of "giotto". you should totally try these, they are amazing!

Im sure they just make stuff up lol, you can get those Fish N Chips everywhere, i always got some in, i love them lol, they are nothing like TuC's, they are just Salt n Vinegar.
I've been buying the cofresh brand for 2 years now. You can get them in asda and tescos
The cookies with gooey fillings are awesome if you heat them up in the microwave for a few seconds, I do it with the Maryland ones.
Those cofresh crisps are great. There's a local store that has those packets for 2 for £1 round here. Good for when watching movies.

+shellywoo Maryland? Made in the US? If so, Barry will have to do yet another American taste test! Send them to him!
+Steve C oh no, UK brand, available at your local asda or tesco!
shellywoo Ah, ok. Maryland is a State here in the US. :P
+Steve C probably where the brand came from :)
So this is the origin of Barshens.
I had the King tango rolling thing from my pound shop I had it and then my tounge started stinging so bad it was stinging for about a week then it stopped I was like NEVER BUYING FOOD FROM POUND SHOP!

I love daddy Erm, what art of my comment are you correcting? (Rather wrongly, may I add.)
How?
Those O² biscuits probably had more O² in the packet then there are biscuits

Subscript, my boy. Subscript !
biscuits* proper spelling
also run a phone network ;)
I love those chilli and lemon grills, they're sold at Asda and Tesco's too.
Those tango rolly things got banned in school, because the teachers said they were inappropriate
When kids took the wrappers off
what you do is then ask "why is it inappropriate"
@@themasteronhigh1665 I used to use them as dildos before I was old enough to buy dildos
@@tomkenning5482 I hope you at least emptied them out first. Otherwise that might lead to all kinds of infections.
I think it was the pure level of sugar that was in them..
Mate what happened why do we not see more of these lol
Love the Ecco the Dolphin screenshot they had in the background for a bit.
I LOVE the Tango roller ball sweet things 😍😍 not the orange flavour though
I love these Nougatelli Cookies. This is the only brand with these kind of cookies i found to be good so far.
cofresh crisps are 2 bags for a pound at asda, another thing poundland are overcharging for then
Those nutella cookies remind me of some here in America that have Oreo creme inside.
+gdog662 Mmmmmmm.... I know what you're talking about.
We get em here in Canada too.
+Ludwig Von Koopa (ルドウィグ ボン クーパ)
I think you mean the Peak Freans?
God those are delicious.
schalkespringer No, they're actually limited edition Chips Ahoy. But i may have to try Peak Freans, even though i've never even seen them.
Wah :(
Cofresh are the best. I buy a lot of their crisps a lot.
Gathia, Cornflake mix and Balti mix FTW
I get the chilli and lemon grills from saInsburys.... I LOVE them!
The texture taste and smell of those mallow things give me the dry boke.
In ireland, Poundland is called dealz and everything is €1.46 I think
Cofresh are a brand name ^^ - I eat a lot of their mixed Sev and things like that.
I have recently tryed them lemon and chilli things they are nice! :)
I'd like to see a Map of Britain, that indicates how many You tubers there are per square mile.
Britain or California
Why
I had those chilli and lemon crisps - they're so nice!
just to let anyone know.. those lemon and chili crisps are now being sold in super markets like Tesco and Sainsburys for 2.99 each! they must of done really well.. or were left over stock from somewhere mo idea!
Love you barry i could watch you do anything
I recently found out you can get different Fish 'n' Chips flavours, such as Pickled Onion and Chip Shop Curry.
3:20 Stuart does his best Derren Brown impression for the green screen.
Y'all should have done a 'Lady and the Tramp' moment with the long marshmallow twists, just to fuel the barshens fanfictions.
My favourite Fish 'n' Chips flavour is the curry sauce
Omg i just remembered that at one point 99p stores were selling 2 packs of boreneos for 30p. I was so happy
I work in poundland and the tins aren't 50p haha they're £1 but the regular rrp is the price on the tin, although they come in offers of 2 for £1 and 3 for £1
There are a large number of dollar stores in the US where most items cost either more or less than one dollar.
It is my favourite cookie ever and I would love to make it at home!
you can get chip shop curry flavour of those fish and chips crisps
And tomato sauce ones and bbq sauce ones and Worcester sauce ones
Jasmin Applepie and Brown sauce
my favourite is the fish and chips they are amazing I could sit and eat them all day.
oh gawd, What I would do to see both Barry and Ashens on an episode of Wreckless Eating!
When they bash the salt and vinegar twirls and I'm here with a mouth full😂
Did I see Ecco the Dolphin?!
Oh my god, you are my favourite obscure reference channels!
I love those fish and chips! Not a lot in them though, would love a huge bag instead! (I believe they used to come in massive bags)
Coming back to this video, do I hear Don't Stop by Little Violet in the background?
I bloody love Daily Fish 'n' Chips!
really wish they still did videos together. Miss Barshens
The DAISO $2.80/100 YEN store put a notice up that some of their items now cost more than that.
poundland is called dealz in Ireland 🇮🇪
the fish n chip crisps are amazing, was sad when they disappeared when I was a kid, but im happy my local tescos have started selling them, just wish they would stop hiding them behind the trolley of digestives.

I love daddy crisps
Poundland: the British version of the Dollar Tree. Of which, is one of my favorite shops.
I remember having Borneo (Rip-off oreo) and i quite liked them
barry how do you find time todo videos while having kinder around?
I was in England in 2012 and i loved poundland ! 4 Energydrinks for 1 Pound ^^
That poundland picture they had in the background looked freakishly like the one down the road from me even with the sweets on the right of the shop
Seriously Jony Ive from Apple doesn't only obviously have the same accent as Barry but their body language is SO similiar too!
