My 99 has 230k miles on the 4 bangers and my 2002 has 255k miles on the v6, such great cars, before i bought these two i had a 91 accord with 200k miles. All 3 of the cars still run an incredibly smooth.
Totally agree! And what's more, I think Toyota/Lexus were leading the charge. Since then, it's been about tech and safety innovation. Design and reliability was totally achieved in the 90's.

i totally forgot how nice this model looked in stock form. i still see them around but theyre all modified in some way. the front reminds me of the es300, its the headlights and the honda emblem on the hood instead of the grill
@Abdul Hafiz I'm split between them, they both look good. I like the later models' simpler taillights (clear/white on top, red below instead of the clear/white section through the middle) except they didn't change them on the wagon.

Amazing. I’m surprised we don’t see more of these 90s accord on the street. I still see a 90s Camry every go often, but rarely an accord. It’s alway surprising to see how small they are compared to the current generation. Now It’s hard to imagine how an average family was able to fit everything in them.
wasabi9111 - There’s probably fewer Accords left because they had interference engines. If the owner didn’t change the timing belt on time (which many didn't), bye-bye engine.
Also for many years, these 90's Accords were often ranked at or near the top of the list of the most stolen cars in America. Many of these Accords were probably stripped down for parts and that's why you probably don't see these Accords too much anymore.

My high school girlfriend bought this same car with the manual and then had to learn how to drive it. I liked driving the car so much I married her 14 years ago! The car's body didn't hold up as well 😊
The '94 Honda Accord was literally one of the best cars if not the best car ever made. These are still on the road 25 years later. Mid '90s era Accords go 500,000 miles with just basic maintenance.
I have a `95 with only 71k on the clock and in almost showroom new condition. I inherited it from my Great Aunt who bought it new. Fantastic little car.
I’d argue that all 1990-02 Accords can make it to 500,000+ miles, considering how well built the F-series engines that went into these cars. Fun fact, a fellow by the name of Joe LoCicero had a ‘91 Accord LX that made it to 1,000,000 miles!
@@1985oldsmobile I've had a 94, 99, 03, and 07. I am finding some 2003-07 with over 400,000 miles. The K24 can do some serious mileage. Our 2003 V6 has 295,000 miles right now. With proper maintenance and care they can go a long time.

I never knew anyone with a accord till I just got mine lol and I'm so glad I got my accord over throwing the money into my 95 mustang I honestly prefer the Honda
I had one of these in college. Loved the 5 speed. I think the 94 accord was actually smaller than a new civic. At only 3000 pounds you could really throw it around. Although I think the 91 accord was quieter and more comfortable on the open highway. I miss the era when a car this size with a 5 speed was a standard people mover.
i own both generations currently. the 90-93 is marginally louder and the ride is more stiff. the suspension parts are all interchangeable but the tuning was adjusted for this gen and made a noticeable difference in comfort. the 94-97 steering also got much heavier and communicative feeling, compare dot the 90's EXTREMELY light and numb steering. 94-97 feels almost European in comparison. the one area where the 97 falters compared to the 90 is interior quality. the door panels for instance are much nicer in the previous gen. the door handles are all metal in the previous gen compared to flimsy feeling plastic. the headlights were glad on the previous gen and the newer ones were plastic aged in the sun. overall materials on the previous gen were top notch, but the newer gen benefitted from a well designed integrated console and cupholder design the prior gen lacked.
I'm proud to say I own one and am building it into a perfectly reliable daily driver that I can take to car meets and get a bit of street cred (lowered, wheels, full exhaust, custom paint work and headliner)
Those mid 90s Accords will always live on in my heart. One of the best body styles of Accords, and best overall in functionality. They were a popular subject in the late 90s tuner car scene as well.
I remember one of family members used to have a 1994 Accord LX 5-speed manual in the same color as the one shown on this video. It had plenty of space plus an antitheft alarm system and a CD changer underneath the front passenger seat.
My 2nd Grade teacher had a gold one in LX Trim. I remember the first day she got it, she was so fricking happy! My parents drove Nissans so I was no real fan of Honda & I thought it was the ugliest car I’d ever seen. Little did I know Ms. Jackson knew something we didn’t; BEST BANG 4 YOUR BUCK
Had my 1995 Honda Accord EX for 7.5 years. Bought it with 116,9xx in 2013 and sold it in April of this year with around 149,8xx. AC went out around 2 yrs later but all the other functions worked. Still drives as if it had just came off the lot and could still get up and go. The fixes started to add up to more than what the car was worth and I’m not a mechanic to fix them, so I finally parted ways. Gotta say it’s reliable like no other and saw me through without fail and would buy another in a heartbeat. Ended up upgrading to 2004 Infiniti G35 (with amazing AC) keeping it in the import family. Fulfilling my need for luxury & speed.
I have a 2012 and it’s pretty much the same model since 1990, it has the last automatic transmission.......in 2013 they switched to cvt and the more radical design. I got 120k on it and it’ll probably go for another 120k.
Man, this brings back good memories, I loved my 1995 Accord, it didn’t look great but it was my first car. It so much fun to drive, especially on back roads with a lot of corners
There still might be some leftover Accord manuals around if you look hard enough. It's a shame they discontinued the manual transmission, it was probably the best front-drive manual on the market.
@@bennybop5387 the job, to replace the head gasket, would be over $2000. At that point, I could have got another car. I ended up getting an Avalon. We looked at cylinder 4 and took out, to find, a wet spark plug and we could see liquid in the chamber. The car wouldn't even start. It would crank and make a "sucking" noise with white steam coming out of the tail pipe. We knew then she was gone and didn't want to go thru the trouble to fix her.
Makes me miss my '96 EX! How about 568K on the clock, with the engine never opened beyond the valve cover, and the trans never removed, which means I was still faithfully rolling on whatever was left of the original clutch? I solved the rotor-warping with station wagon discs and calipers up front, while braided stainless hoses made her brake that much better. Also, I replaced all upper ball joints with adjustable ones, and the sway bar bushings and end links with urethane ones. This all made something amazing out of an already great driver.
while i do have a 97, i used wagon caliper brackets and legend type 2 dual piston calipers on my 1990 accord which uses the same brakes as this gen. absolute huge difference in braking ability.
@@jay.fromthebay that sounds even better, and I wonder if they would have fit under my original wheels. I was surprised to find that Legend wheels didn't clear the wagon calipers.
@@A_Cowboy_called_JackRabbit that's a bit shocking. Using the wagon brackets and wagon rotors and legend type 2 calipers I clear the 15 in oem accord wheels just fine! I highly highly recommend the swap.
@@jay.fromthebay the swap forced me to use my originals, which were those full-face heavy ones. To feel like I won that little battle, I bought a set of 17" ICW DV-8s. These weighed about a third less, and even with 40-series rubber, the ride got a LOT better. Still wish I could have used the Legend wheels, though, but a win's a win.
had this exact car. same color. the paint on that color looks amazing when you wax it. mine had grey leather, had a stock spoiler and was a 5 spd with the optional cd player. i bought it with like a 100k miles used. it was my first decent car. later i lowered it, got clear corners, an intake and exhaust and a short shifter. than i got an alpine head unit with infinity kappas and kicker amps and two kicker L7s in a custom ported box.
I remember buying this exact car (except in Dark Green) with my dad back in 94. It reeked of quality. Made GM cars look like complete pieces of ass next to it.
I think the Chevy Corsica and the Pontiac Grand Am would be the Accords competitions. The Corsica sucked but was reliable as hell. It was the car you wished would die but didn't. The Grand Am was pretty cool especially the GT model.
Bought a dk green Vtec new in 94, manual , loved that car , faultless , great ride and handling , with that great kick as the cam rolled over at about 4500 rpm , correct me if iam wrong . Traded it in 98 on a Prelude Vtec as the new Accord was the bigger USA model and did not handle as well , here in OZ we like tight handling . Strange in OZ by the early 2000 we had the big USA sourced Accord optioned with a V6 and the smaller Euro model from Japan which was the better car .
I had a 94 EX sedan auto and have a 95 EX manual, and if I could find a low mileage sedan with a 5 speed, it may be close to the perfect form of fuel-efficient transportation. In the meantime, I'm going to take the ABS off the 95 and take it SCCA'ing.
This was my first car at 15, I thrashed that car and it was still going strong 10 years later when I sold it with 220,000 kms on the clock. That was a great car!
Great car, I had a 95 v6, it was trouble free, always ran full synthetic oil and changed the transmission fluid and filter every 60,000 miles, i sold it to a friend at 180,000 miles, he still has it and his daughter now drives it at 247,000 miles!
Just a good high quality, superbly engineered, attractive, sporty, reliable, high value, efficient, car. I would buy one now over this current lot that look like tropical fish.
My 97 Accord was the first Japanese car that I bought in 18 for $1500. After some needed mechanical TLC, it nicely filled the shoes that were left by my 98 Oldsmobile 88 that I had going on 12 years before taking it off the road due to the front sub frame rusting out. The Accord has never let me down.
I had the wagon version of this Accord back when my kids were small. Best family car ever. 85,000 miles and not one failure, not one broken part! When we added a third child, we switched to an Odyssey.
It seems performance of modem cars has been unbelievably improved, but the reliability is just not in the same league of cars from the late 90s to the early 2000s. It's a bit unnerving watching guys like Demuro and Hoovies, talk so glowingly about modem cars, which are littered with recalls, engine sludge, and electric problems.

I came to watch this just because it's my favorite car. I literally have one that I got at 294k miles, put tons of hours of work into as well as a few shops, and over 4k later, it's a beauty. It was in excellent condition when I got it, very well taken care of. One of my favorite vehicles, I modestly improved it with some aftermarket items, but primarily to improved response and fuel efficiency of the vehicle. (And also the sound haha XD )
My elementary school librarian had a white '94 EX, it was white with tan leather and a sunroof, luxurious options in that year. I don't think Honda has made a more stylish yet simple design since then.
I had an EX-L manual. One of my favorite cars ever. Original clutch made it to 200,000 miles. Apart from a radiator, brake master cylinder, clutch slave cylinder, cv joints, and maintenance items, no other repairs. I bought it with 113,000 miles already on it.
same man, here in the bay area there's still lots running around, though less than before. i frequent the junkyards and these are still coming in en mass like crazy, meaning they are barely now getting off the road. impressive.
I had a green EX 5 speed coupe with the tan cloth interior. Very cool car, I regretted selling it, even though I sold it for $1500 more than I bought it for.
I had the 97 Accord EX-L, dark green over beige leather. Miss the all analog gauges and inputs. And that VTEC sound when you wound it out. Bulletproof car.
The new (current) Accord is also an excellent car. The styling may polarize some but that just means it is interesting...the way the new Accord drives and handles is sublime. This coming from a Mazda guy.
I have a 2020 Civic and the build quality just seems like a downgrade from my dad's 2010 Civic. Hopefully Honda stops the cost cutting nonsense and improve the fit and finish for the upcoming Civic.

Brandon Walker i still think the eigth gen have better build quality than the tenth gen. I dont like how honda has been doing cost cutting in their cars recently.
hondas from the 90s were way better build than the current models. all the cars came with front and rear double wishbone suspension not the cheap macpherson struts they use today. only problem with these era hondas were they are easy to steal
These cars are great for a 2nd car or your college kid. Still looks nice 26 years later. Cheap to fix, rarely break down. You can get a nice one for $1500. 25 city / 31 highway
I owned a black 94 EX manual. Over 5 years of ownership it was a dream to shift and steer. Unfortunately you could open these with a butter knife which made parking it in a garage or crowded lot anxiety inducing.
I have a 90 EX and a 97 EX and let me tell you... it's a struggle to love an old Honda and deal with the constant thefts and break ins. Someone's tried stealing both of my cars while they're parked in front of the hospital I work at, and 2 weeks ago again off of my street. It's infuriating and I'm getting an alarm now. They weren't able to steal them because I've had two stolen in the past and recovered, and I learned my lesson and pull out the ECU fuse every time I leave the car. HAHA. Must've been great when those idiots found out it wouldn't start.
Still have our 1994 ex coupe, manual transmission with 253,000 miles. Still runs amazing. It's my errand running vehicle now, able to park in any spot with ease and still gets amazing gas mileage. Don't have to worry about getting scratched or dented, (Although I must say i only have a few very small dings which are almost unnoticeable), it still looks great. This car is a champion and has withstood the test of time. I feel very fortunate.
I sold my 1988 Mustang 5.0 that was falling apart and bought a 1995 Dark Green 2 door Accord EX with a rear spoiler and 6disc CD Changer. I had that car for 10 years and loved it. Went on many adventures with it, and it never let me down.
Possibly the best version of the Accord. Clean, understated looks; excellent suspension, and a fantastic drivetrain. Also, not bloated like every new car out there. Can we go BACK, please..?
That was my new car bought one of the first. Honda released them on Thursday of 1993. The salesperson called me. I went out on Saturday to look. I had a paid off 1990 Accord that I purchased new from same dealership. I picked it up next Wednesday. It was two weeks before I saw another. Had people pulling up asking me about it.
96 accord 4cyl 206k miles - still running like a champ. One of the most reliable cars I've ever owned. Besides the replacing of old, worn out parts - it has never left me stranded on the side of the road in the 20 years that I've owned it.
Still miss my '97 Accord Ex coupe. It was totaled a few years ago from someone running a red light into me. That was a fun car to drive and very reliable. Handling was fantastic.
My grandparents ended up getting three of these bc the first two were involved in accidents shortly after purchase. They loved those cars. The final one, a '97, was kept for 13 years until it was given to my cousin.
Had a '97 EX. Best car I've ever had and I have had a few other Hondas, Toyotas, a VW, a Hyundai, a Mitsubishi, and a Pontiac. Bulletproof cars and still look fantastic. Felt solid and had plenty of everything.
Watching this in October of 2020. The base-price of an Accord EX in 1994 was $19,750, according to this video. Adjusted for inflation, that's about $35,000 today. I went to the Honda website, and the base-price for an Accord EX today is $28,070. So the Accord has actually gotten *cheaper* when adjusting for inflation. Shows what competition will do in a free-market economy.
@Ike N this is absolutely true. the 5th gen, as nice as it is, has very clear cost cutting in the interior compared to the 4th gen which OOZED quality. i have both generations currently
my 1997 EX is still running and shifting great! Original shocks, drivetrain, everything! At 278k miles! These are awesome cars and as much as I love my 1990 EX with 330k for its higher quality materials inside, the 1997 steering feel is so nice and almost German.
Grew up with a green 94 LX manual. My first automotive memories were in that car, and I learned to drive manual (a little before the legal age) in it as well
I remember when this style came out in late '93. They were nice cars back in the day see few of these ever once in a while. My 3rd grade teacher had a '95 V6 EX in beige she bought new later she sold it to her son. Had a cousin they bought her daughter used one can't remember if was a 94 or 95. Know one the body structure on these were tough one day my mother was coming home from work young lady had an Accord (1996) you know that Accord had few scratches and small dent in the bumper as her car fender was smashed and chipped headlight. Ì liked the 1996-97s were the mid-cycle refreshed were nicer but the 94 was good looking ànd stylish.
My first and second car with the 5mt. My aunt and granpa had one as well. It is still my favorite accord. Still one of the best shift actions in any vehicle!

I bought a 1995 in 2004 with 67kmi on it for $5500. Drove that car for 16 years and put 200kmi on it. What an awesome machine.

i own both generations currently. the 90-93 is marginally louder and the ride is more stiff. the suspension parts are all interchangeable but the tuning was adjusted for this gen and made a noticeable difference in comfort. the 94-97 steering also got much heavier and communicative feeling, compare dot the 90's EXTREMELY light and numb steering. 94-97 feels almost European in comparison. the one area where the 97 falters compared to the 90 is interior quality. the door panels for instance are much nicer in the previous gen. the door handles are all metal in the previous gen compared to flimsy feeling plastic. the headlights were glad on the previous gen and the newer ones were plastic aged in the sun. overall materials on the previous gen were top notch, but the newer gen benefitted from a well designed integrated console and cupholder design the prior gen lacked.

I'm proud to say I own one and am building it into a perfectly reliable daily driver that I can take to car meets and get a bit of street cred (lowered, wheels, full exhaust, custom paint work and headliner)
My all time favorite Honda Accord. I still have mine and it still drives amazing.
Those mid 90s Accords will always live on in my heart. One of the best body styles of Accords, and best overall in functionality.
They were a popular subject in the late 90s tuner car scene as well.
I remember this car being a game changer. Extremely popular. Honda was on top in 94 across their entire line.

Kia Forte or VW Jetta come with a 6-speed manual base. It will be about the same size but much more modern inside.

I remember one of family members used to have a 1994 Accord LX 5-speed manual in the same color as the one shown on this video. It had plenty of space plus an antitheft alarm system and a CD changer underneath the front passenger seat.

Had my 1995 Honda Accord EX for 7.5 years. Bought it with 116,9xx in 2013 and sold it in April of this year with around 149,8xx. AC went out around 2 yrs later but all the other functions worked. Still drives as if it had just came off the lot and could still get up and go. The fixes started to add up to more than what the car was worth and I’m not a mechanic to fix them, so I finally parted ways. Gotta say it’s reliable like no other and saw me through without fail and would buy another in a heartbeat. Ended up upgrading to 2004 Infiniti G35 (with amazing AC) keeping it in the import family. Fulfilling my need for luxury & speed.
Better style than today’s Accord, smaller than today’s Civic, and I like the dashboard design.

I have a 2012 and it’s pretty much the same model since 1990, it has the last automatic transmission.......in 2013 they switched to cvt and the more radical design. I got 120k on it and it’ll probably go for another 120k.
Yes. I hate the large Speedometer in the middle and smaller tach to the left. Both of equal size was much more visually appealing.

Man, this brings back good memories, I loved my 1995 Accord, it didn’t look great but it was my first car. It so much fun to drive, especially on back roads with a lot of corners
There still might be some leftover Accord manuals around if you look hard enough. It's a shame they discontinued the manual transmission, it was probably the best front-drive manual on the market.

I had 410,000 miles on my '93 accord when I gave it to a friend's dad and it was still running and looking great
A friend had this 4 door ex-r model in a 5 speed, was absolutely a blast to drive and lasted 400 000kms before the engine went, money well spent
They look so much better than the new Accords. 90-93 Accord aka CB7 was the best looking of them all. Can't be beat!

@@bennybop5387 the job, to replace the head gasket, would be over $2000. At that point, I could have got another car. I ended up getting an Avalon. We looked at cylinder 4 and took out, to find, a wet spark plug and we could see liquid in the chamber. The car wouldn't even start. It would crank and make a "sucking" noise with white steam coming out of the tail pipe. We knew then she was gone and didn't want to go thru the trouble to fix her.

Makes me miss my '96 EX! How about 568K on the clock, with the engine never opened beyond the valve cover, and the trans never removed, which means I was still faithfully rolling on whatever was left of the original clutch?
I solved the rotor-warping with station wagon discs and calipers up front, while braided stainless hoses made her brake that much better. Also, I replaced all upper ball joints with adjustable ones, and the sway bar bushings and end links with urethane ones. This all made something amazing out of an already great driver.
while i do have a 97, i used wagon caliper brackets and legend type 2 dual piston calipers on my 1990 accord which uses the same brakes as this gen. absolute huge difference in braking ability.
@@jay.fromthebay that sounds even better, and I wonder if they would have fit under my original wheels. I was surprised to find that Legend wheels didn't clear the wagon calipers.
@@A_Cowboy_called_JackRabbit that's a bit shocking. Using the wagon brackets and wagon rotors and legend type 2 calipers I clear the 15 in oem accord wheels just fine! I highly highly recommend the swap.
@@jay.fromthebay the swap forced me to use my originals, which were those full-face heavy ones. To feel like I won that little battle, I bought a set of 17" ICW DV-8s. These weighed about a third less, and even with 40-series rubber, the ride got a LOT better. Still wish I could have used the Legend wheels, though, but a win's a win.
had this exact car. same color. the paint on that color looks amazing when you wax it. mine had grey leather, had a stock spoiler and was a 5 spd with the optional cd player. i bought it with like a 100k miles used. it was my first decent car. later i lowered it, got clear corners, an intake and exhaust and a short shifter. than i got an alpine head unit with infinity kappas and kicker amps and two kicker L7s in a custom ported box.
Just want to say, I'm still seeing tons and tons of these cars on the road. They're nearing 30 years old and people still drive them.

I think the Chevy Corsica and the Pontiac Grand Am would be the Accords competitions. The Corsica sucked but was reliable as hell. It was the car you wished would die but didn't. The Grand Am was pretty cool especially the GT model.
Bought a dk green Vtec new in 94, manual , loved that car , faultless , great ride and handling , with that great kick as the cam rolled over at about 4500 rpm , correct me if iam wrong .
Traded it in 98 on a Prelude Vtec as the new Accord was the bigger USA model and did not handle as well , here in OZ we like tight handling .
Strange in OZ by the early 2000 we had the big USA sourced Accord optioned with a V6 and the smaller Euro model from Japan which was the better car .

I had a 94 EX sedan auto and have a 95 EX manual, and if I could find a low mileage sedan with a 5 speed, it may be close to the perfect form of fuel-efficient transportation. In the meantime, I'm going to take the ABS off the 95 and take it SCCA'ing.

This was my first car at 15, I thrashed that car and it was still going strong 10 years later when I sold it with 220,000 kms on the clock. That was a great car!
Great car, I had a 95 v6, it was trouble free, always ran full synthetic oil and changed the transmission fluid and filter every 60,000 miles, i sold it to a friend at 180,000 miles, he still has it and his daughter now drives it at 247,000 miles!

My 97 Accord was the first Japanese car that I bought in 18 for $1500. After some needed mechanical TLC, it nicely filled the shoes that were left by my 98 Oldsmobile 88 that I had going on 12 years before taking it off the road due to the front sub frame rusting out. The Accord has never let me down.
I have my 94 Accord sedan EX for 20 years and still love it.
I had the wagon version of this Accord back when my kids were small. Best family car ever. 85,000 miles and not one failure, not one broken part! When we added a third child, we switched to an Odyssey.

'90s era Hondas can't be beat.
The 90s was the golden era of Japanese cars.
It seems performance of modem cars has been unbelievably improved, but the reliability is just not in the same league of cars from the late 90s to the early 2000s. It's a bit unnerving watching guys like Demuro and Hoovies, talk so glowingly about modem cars, which are littered with recalls, engine sludge, and electric problems.
Most of these Hondas and Acuras are commonly riced out and finding a stock Honda or Acura for sale is rare.

I came to watch this just because it's my favorite car. I literally have one that I got at 294k miles, put tons of hours of work into as well as a few shops, and over 4k later, it's a beauty. It was in excellent condition when I got it, very well taken care of. One of my favorite vehicles, I modestly improved it with some aftermarket items, but primarily to improved response and fuel efficiency of the vehicle. (And also the sound haha XD )
My elementary school librarian had a white '94 EX, it was white with tan leather and a sunroof, luxurious options in that year. I don't think Honda has made a more stylish yet simple design since then.
I had an EX-L manual. One of my favorite cars ever. Original clutch made it to 200,000 miles. Apart from a radiator, brake master cylinder, clutch slave cylinder, cv joints, and maintenance items, no other repairs. I bought it with 113,000 miles already on it.
I see so many of these cars still on the road in CA, 90s were the golden age of Honda reliability
same man, here in the bay area there's still lots running around, though less than before. i frequent the junkyards and these are still coming in en mass like crazy, meaning they are barely now getting off the road. impressive.

I had the 97 Accord EX-L, dark green over beige leather. Miss the all analog gauges and inputs. And that VTEC sound when you wound it out. Bulletproof car.
Currently have a 1997 EX-L, light eucalyptus green over light green leather. It's such a wonderful car.

The new (current) Accord is also an excellent car. The styling may polarize some but that just means it is interesting...the way the new Accord drives and handles is sublime. This coming from a Mazda guy.
I have a 2020 Civic and the build quality just seems like a downgrade from my dad's 2010 Civic. Hopefully Honda stops the cost cutting nonsense and improve the fit and finish for the upcoming Civic.

Brandon Walker i still think the eigth gen have better build quality than the tenth gen. I dont like how honda has been doing cost cutting in their cars recently.
hondas from the 90s were way better build than the current models. all the cars came with front and rear double wishbone suspension not the cheap macpherson struts they use today. only problem with these era hondas were they are easy to steal

These cars are great for a 2nd car or your college kid. Still looks nice 26 years later. Cheap to fix, rarely break down. You can get a nice one for $1500.

I owned a black 94 EX manual. Over 5 years of ownership it was a dream to shift and steer. Unfortunately you could open these with a butter knife which made parking it in a garage or crowded lot anxiety inducing.
I have a 90 EX and a 97 EX and let me tell you... it's a struggle to love an old Honda and deal with the constant thefts and break ins. Someone's tried stealing both of my cars while they're parked in front of the hospital I work at, and 2 weeks ago again off of my street. It's infuriating and I'm getting an alarm now. They weren't able to steal them because I've had two stolen in the past and recovered, and I learned my lesson and pull out the ECU fuse every time I leave the car. HAHA. Must've been great when those idiots found out it wouldn't start.

Still have our 1994 ex coupe, manual transmission with 253,000 miles. Still runs amazing. It's my errand running vehicle now, able to park in any spot with ease and still gets amazing gas mileage. Don't have to worry about getting scratched or dented, (Although I must say i only have a few very small dings which are almost unnoticeable), it still looks great. This car is a champion and has withstood the test of time. I feel very fortunate.

I sold my 1988 Mustang 5.0 that was falling apart and bought a 1995 Dark Green 2 door Accord EX with a rear spoiler and 6disc CD Changer. I had that car for 10 years and loved it. Went on many adventures with it, and it never let me down.
Possibly the best version of the Accord. Clean, understated looks; excellent suspension, and a fantastic drivetrain. Also, not bloated like every new car out there. Can we go BACK, please..?
Those non-intrusive trunk hinges are better than what's in my 1998-2002 Accords.
Funny, my 2014 Mitsubishi Lancer ES uses those kind of trunk struts as well.

1991 Honda Accord LX all original at 61k miles. Still running after 30 years
96 accord 4cyl 206k miles - still running like a champ. One of the most reliable cars I've ever owned. Besides the replacing of old, worn out parts - it has never left me stranded on the side of the road in the 20 years that I've owned it.
Still miss my '97 Accord Ex coupe. It was totaled a few years ago from someone running a red light into me. That was a fun car to drive and very reliable. Handling was fantastic.

My grandparents ended up getting three of these bc the first two were involved in accidents shortly after purchase. They loved those cars. The final one, a '97, was kept for 13 years until it was given to my cousin.

Watching this in October of 2020. The base-price of an Accord EX in 1994 was $19,750, according to this video. Adjusted for inflation, that's about $35,000 today. I went to the Honda website, and the base-price for an Accord EX today is $28,070. So the Accord has actually gotten *cheaper* when adjusting for inflation. Shows what competition will do in a free-market economy.

@Ike N this is absolutely true. the 5th gen, as nice as it is, has very clear cost cutting in the interior compared to the 4th gen which OOZED quality. i have both generations currently

my 1997 EX is still running and shifting great! Original shocks, drivetrain, everything! At 278k miles! These are awesome cars and as much as I love my 1990 EX with 330k for its higher quality materials inside, the 1997 steering feel is so nice and almost German.

I remember when this style came out in late '93. They were nice cars back in the day see few of these ever once in a while. My 3rd grade teacher had a '95 V6 EX in beige she bought new later she sold it to her son. Had a cousin they bought her daughter used one can't remember if was a 94 or 95. Know one the body structure on these were tough one day my mother was coming home from work young lady had an Accord (1996) you know that Accord had few scratches and small dent in the bumper as her car fender was smashed and chipped headlight. Ì liked the 1996-97s were the mid-cycle refreshed were nicer but the 94 was good looking ànd stylish.
