This live capture is #Transcendent imho. All great musicians, all feeling it. :)
She's one of those artists who *really* mixes things up live. I've looked up cellphone fan footage from a few gigs, & the same song can sound *very* different from show to show. I love that- it puts her near the top of my #MustSeeLive list.

Yes!! Thank you. The live version is definitely more bass driven and it gives it much more funk. My only problem is that that it’s not long enough. She does Louis Bag on her Live from Electric Lady along with a few others . Rarely do we get an artist who is so vocally agile that the live versions of their songs not only sound better ,but they also sound slightly different from performance to performance.
I would be remiss if I didn’t suggest reacting to LP. Most people first hear the Live Lost On You from Harvard and Stone followed by her cover of Halo Live from East West Studios.
