Its hard to think he isnt even close to fully maturing physically. He will get stronger, he will get more explosive, and his endurance will improve. Absolutely bonkers to think about him improving significantly, but its inevitable. He's special lads. Barring injury, hes coming for all the records.
Couldn't agree more. I've been watching WC racing for about 17 years now, and he's a special talent. So too is Jordan. What a great time to be watching the racing.
When JG won Hardline last year, I thought we are watching the birth of the new GOAT. Then that hug from Minnar at Val di Sol on the podium was like the GOAT transferring his powers to the next in line to the GOAT Throne. JG reminds me of when Kelly Slater hit the Pro Surfing ranks, domination and history being made.
Next WC is Valnord where Jackson had fastest overall time last year as a junior. I think he wins two in a row but Finn is going to be right there too. Huge shame Amaury was not in the mix this year. Speaking of Amaury, if anyone has some time, on the Commencal channel there is a documentary on Amaury that came out a month or two ago. It's amazing. Around 1/3rd of the way they have his 2022 PoV race run at Ft William and it's intercut with the live announcing and coverage. It's really awesome. They also show his crash at Valnord which wasn't aired, and wow I don't know how he is not dead from that. Lesser people would have been torn in half. Amaury must be the toughest guy out there.
@@TheRideCompanion ruclips.net/video/Q-_jViAs5XA/видео.html The whole documentary is fantastic. The Ft Williams story arc starts at 24:30 roughly. It should win the MTB Oscars for documentary 2022
Jackson for sure. I watch his riding and there is a difference. He is so comfortable on the bike. He rides different and has a better foundation than any body.
The main variable is injury and overcoming those adversities. Not to mention life distractions. No way to predict that. Wish him and Jordan the best. What sick teams.
Jackson G. is naturally gifted and progressive into the field. I have a Syndicate feeling that the Focus is to carry on the legacy of Greg and Peaty winning formula into a perfect run. Time will tell ! so far Jackson is ripping the time and inside tape.
Hmm I definitely would not be writing off some of the other riders for the overall. I think Finn and Loic have a very sorted bike and are looking super fast at each race. Then again watching Jackson almost face plant on the first corner and then unclip on the third corner and ride it out like nothing happened makes you see how skilled he actually is.
You're so right man it fucks me off that everyone in the UKfalls for the media hype and ignores their own talent whos absolutely smashing the fuck out of it. It must be demoralising for him. Get behind Jordan people and stop sucking Jacksons d**k
Yeah it’s pretty much over. He’s just got too much going too young and years ahead of him. It’s ridiculous. These young kids have zero concept of consequence so they just throw themselves out there as if they’re invincible. Never seen anyone like Jackson, ever. Combination of stupid skill and no conscience for consequence and rides like the trail works for him and nothing can possibly go wrong. That’s all it is. The younger riders today are benefitting from all of the advancements in bikes and components and just throw themselves down the track like nothing could possibly go wrong nor work against them.
Her name is not Anne-Caroline Chausson. She also had 40 wins bdw. 5 consecutive world cup wins and 9 world champs. She also holds 19 world championships in total. How many did Rachel win? She was an olympic gold medalist. Excelled in 2 disciplines (in bikes. she also won gold in speed skiing), BMX and Downhill and was the best in those disciplines as well. Won gold in 4X and dual slalom too. Won multiple races in enduro.
@@lamefartYup!! Chausson would have smoked Rachel!! The women’s level when Rachel was racing in her prime sucked. Chausson was another freak of nature like JG
Jackson enjoys riding. I find him humble. He's always excited and haven't seen him bragging about anything. Last race he said he doesn't have any words and that he's just happy even if he almost ate it at the first turn. That's also what he said about Hardline, he also said about that big rock in the middle of the rut that almost took him out of the race or his life I guess. Lol Never mentioned anything about the fastest times or something but more on the sections where he almost crashed🤣 Wait I know of a couple riders who I felt with false modesty. "Fastest time even among the elite. That's insane!" Or "I never knew I could do it but yeah, I had the fastest time even beating the elites." "I'm glad I wasn't beaten by a mother." (She was eventually been beaten by a mom) So familiar, eh? 2 of them are in the elites now. One in men and one in women.
Are you guys serious? Jordan Williams has often beat Goldstone. There’s nothing between those two. I also think It’ll be funny when Amaury comes back and thrashes everyone.

Completely agree with you there .

Yeah that doc on Amaury is really good.

Some bloody good questions in here boys. Great chats.

He is the next GOAT. I was just saying this yesterday. I think The Syndicate is the best team for him also

For sure!!?
Gold is defiantly on his game right now.
Looking at the phone to watch two guys looking at the phone. Ha ha ha we are so sad
And there's Rachel Atherton with 40 world cup round wins and 6 world champion titles..... just being badass with no mention.
Except.... Literally ever mountain bikers knows who she is and what she has done in this sport..... So there's that...
JG is riding in the men's category

Everyone seems to forget Jordan Williams...
Jordan for nevis range :)

Blows my mind what he is doing at his age. “The chosen one”😂
Mini-Minnar without doubt
reminds me more of a sam hill…can get away with stuff others can’t….
He's light, he floats over the holes. He also looses time on the fast sections because he's so light.
Jackson Goatstone
When he has over 20 wins we can talk about it.
Let's not forget he also won Hardline.
Yup!! Shame he’s not there this year to defend
He's good for his age, but it ignores the elephant not in the room, AP.
waayyyyy to early to call…and injury or such is all it would take to halt a career…give him 5yrs then start asking the question
Remy Meier smith is the next goat
He's Jesus christ
😂😂😂
Asa is coming…

The real GOAT is Rachel. The boys don't even hold a torch to her 40 wins..
Men's category is WAAAY more competitive, sorry to burst your bubble

Not until he fixes his attitude in my opinion. Minaar is such a chill, humble, down to earth fellow. Jackson is the complete opposite.
The clock doesn’t care what personality a racer has.

Jackson was ahead 13 of the 21 races they've been in. So... That's not nothing, don't you think?
