I have nothing to criticize! I think you 2 have done a fabulous job in creating your projects! In fact, I wish I could live in a setup like your A-frame property. The only thing I would add is a tiny woodstove & it would be my dream! I will keep watching to stay inspired by your future projects. Thank you!

Have you thought about the HomeBioGas digester toilet? It converts food scraps (and your poop and pee) into cooking gas and the toilet almost looks and works the same as a normal toilet, except you press a pump handle instead of a button. I'm probably going to get one myself.

@@TheDoerDuo Aye it does, but it does still have some limitations, such as a limited number of recommended flushes per day and what you can do with the bog roll after you've been. So it may not be suitable for a tiny house village but might be great for a couple of people at a time. The big win is that you can have a wee and a poo at the same time. 👍 Pretty cheap too, all things considered.
It's an Israeli company that's been making them for years now, and tweaking the design, and they've become popular enough with off-gridders to have localised international websites. Here's one bloke's review, I'd recommend watching a bunch of reviews weighing up the pros and cons. Might be just what you're looking for, might not be.

We bought 26 acres and built these cabins and we’ll definitely be doing more projects in the future! It’s really fun and people really enjoy them. These cabins are my job and my partner has a full time job. Thanks for watching!

Where do you get the water from the shower? Is it coming from the main building behind it?
It’s coming from an exterior hose attached to our house
How do you keep it cool in the summer time?
The dormers windows provide a nice cross breeze and we supply a big fan
@@TheDoerDuo How did you run elec to the a-frame? Do you find the insulation does a good job keeping it warm in the cold winter nights? Any other way you’re keeping it warm? Would like to start up a glamping site myself! Thank you!
@@keenanlanser9409 we actually close down Nov. 1st for the winter and open back up in May. In the future we would like to possibly add propane heat for the winter.

We are in Maine and we have mosquitos but we provide bug spray and the outdoor kitchen has a screen to prevent bugs.

So I have a pee-pee question, where does it drain? Pee-pee gets smelly fast!
We have a dump site in the ground away from the A-frame so smell is never an issue 🙌
