This video made me realize it would be really cool to see "melee" spellcasters, spells that have like a 1"-3" range but are designed to make melee combat more deadly/debuff the enemy that's about to get walloped
Great overview, but pretty sad Eternal Wardens lost 😢 I have the artillery unit, but I've not used it much. I definitely lean hard into the melee and spellcasting, the buff spell is incredible. I never thought of using the Warden Knight + Celestial Beacon with the Praetorians, sounds like a great combo. I definitely run the Guardian Elite w/Inspire paired into a shooting unit for movement shenanigans as getting all the extra moves in a melee list is great. Drake Eternals have definitely become a favorite unit of mine with them performing phenomenally in a recent game.
I used my sacrosanct stormcast models and brought heaps of paladins, Drake lion paladins and warden knights all with caster ability, everyone was slinging spells. shock speed and poisoned weapons are a nice combo
Oh boy, this is gonna be a long army list... Feels weird to see Destroyers having the same Tough(3) everyone else has. 13:45 I don't think those are the right models. Those are Praetors, I think the Eternals are meant to be Reclusians, which are stated to have "their identities eroded by countless Reforgings". 16:25 Strange. The Judicators had a massive crossbow as a single-model upgrade. So either that has become a squad-wide option in the Thunder Crossbow, or it's just gone. Also, I feel like several of these ranged units could have been merged into one. Wait, no equivalent to the various dracoth calvary?
@@ShadowdragonYamiryu Oh yeah, you are absolutely right. The image Fitz used confused me. Honestly, I expected One Page Rules to merge them into the same unit.
@widowpeak6142 no worries. You're also right about 13:45. OPR is cool in that you're free to run minis as whatever you want though. AOS' Praetors are the Praetorian units, pretty much the same. Eternals are supposed to be Retributors and all the other variants of them armed with glaives and axes. They lumped in Reclusians into the unit too, cause one of the weapon options is to replace 1 with dual axes.
@widowpeak6142 I'm not too sure, not been following AOS much as I've gotten more into OPR. I messed a bit with the indices, but dropped it as soon as they began with the new army books.
Quantity over quality, but still a balanced game. If you don't mind, I have 2 questions for viewers since I am not being answered over on Discord. 1) How much do you reduce the size of the print files for a proper 25mm scale? As a long time collector of minis and armies, to say I have a couple of thousand figures is not an exaggeration. 2) Anyone use an Elegoo Mars 4 Max? What do you use as default settings? Thanks
@@WarbossFitz Thanks. Just picked up the Ratmen and Jackals. I really need to start up the printer. Add a few hundred resin pieces to my plastic and pewter mountain of shame.

Yeah, they're Drake Eternals and you can equip them with the different weapons like in AOS: grand hammer, axe, glaive or gun.

@@ShadowdragonYamiryu Retributors, along with all varians, dissapeared from the warscrolls, didn't they?

Somehow I forgot to upload the thumbnail?

For the first question 77% will get you from 32 to 25mm.
For the second one I have not used it

@@stevenwhite7763 Jackals might be rough to rescale smaller. They have some pretty thin ankles and other bits even at full scale.
I had a feeling with all the dwarf AP they had tall hill to climb
Lol
I used the same models for the Eternal Wardens. The chariot is a better unit then the dragons.
I believe it
Sorry I don't play these armies, but I am curious about how you painted your roof thatching.
the roof thatching was yellow then a brown oil wash over the whole thing
@@WarbossFitz It looks great.
