Only in Canada we can have 4 seasons in one day. Lol.
I mentioned in a past comment from an older video that you should add a 5inch fuel line to your fuel return line in the tank to stop aerated fuel. I was hoping you would have done it because you would notice the improvement with smoother idling and taking off in first gear. I'm happy I did this to mine.
When I changed my fuel pump I had a loose bearing in it. I heard this from shaking it. And I knew this was my problem from it failing.

One of the first things I had to do with my fox when I got it was a fuel pump! From my experience the pump always goes bad especially a tired old one when you fill the tank up that cold gas shocks them! You should get yourself a fuel psi checker tool there’s a schrader valve right behind your alternator in the fuel line. It should be around 30 psi ! But definitely good idea changing that pump and also I know that fuel filter is new but for a few dollars you might wanna throw another new one in mine clogged up in a week all depends how much sentiment in that tank 👊👍

I had a crazy situation with mine...the baffle inside the gas tank came loose and messed up the fuel pump. I replaced the tank and got the largest in tank pump I could get. From CJ Pony Parts. That was over 5 years ago. My car still needs some work done...but like all projects....family comes first and that car will not see every last dollar....but more likely.....might the dollar last. Haha!

LOL - I love it! Yeah, these poor cars have not always had the best care taken of them; but honestly, I don't think that the "lack of care" is always intentional, much of it comes from lack of education i.e. Fill the tank before you store it. I hope these videos will help people in the education department so we can keep these awesome cars on the road! Thanks for reaching out 👍

PS: good info: when you plug your reader in...make sure you don't plug you underhood light connector in by mistake! I had mine unplugged. !!! They both have the same plug style. I did and fried my meter and a wire input on the CPU. 5.0 would not run after that! You will have to jump a trace inside the CPU (no.12?).and all is back to normal. DP 😎

I am having a similar problem with my fox. Car ran great for a few months and then all of a sudden just died. The fuel pump is a new areomotive 340 which came with the SVE fuel line kit. When I turn the key into accessory mode, no prime. But when I turn the key all the way forward without the clutch and you can hear the pump run. Changed the TFI module and the fuel pump relay. It is definitely frustrating I would love to get my car running again.
