In my opinion wrc 8 is superior in handling and ground reaction. Wrc 10 feels like they smoothed everything out on the track. Watch how the car on wrc8 bounces on every pit and bump. Amazing. I have generations to but still play wrc8 for the sheer speed of loading and playability and realism.
I just tried generations (yep, allways a game behinf because, prices XD), and I keep going back to WRC 8. It just feels more like a finished game and it looks more authentic.
I just got a wheel & pedals + shifter for WRC 10, and wow... That thing was REALLY difficult compared to a PS controller, and i literally started feeling ashamed, thinking i sucked REALLY hard, LOL! Then i found a video talking about how they would also crash every 100m in the beginning, and together with the fact that i didnt have much difficulty playing NFS Heat, i started the healing process after this initial CRUSHING blow to my self esteem. Its now the day after, and it still hurts 😅
@@runitred Yeah, i tried some more and realized that i had picked a couple of relatively difficult tracks the first day, and my FFB also had pretty hard settings. After picking some more "beginner friendly" tracks, and following some instructions for adjusting the FFB, i was at least not crashing AS much - and after a couple of hours i felt like i had made considerable progress. Another issue is that i dont have a rig/cockpit, so the positioning of the wheel is WAY too low, and the pedals move around if im not careful, making it difficult to really step on the break when i need to. Cant afford the cockpit i want right now, so i think im gonna have to see if i can find a more affordable one to begin with. Ideally one that i can connect the seat from my gaming chair to, but i suspect that will be more expensive, if such a thing even exist. Maybe ill check YT and see if i can find some decent DIY solutions.
@EspenFrafalne you can look at this link on Amazon and see if it fits your current needs and budget Next Level Racing F-GT Lite Formula and GT Foldable Simulator Cockpit (NLR-S015)
@@runitred Thanks for the tips. While checking them out, i stumbled over a Black Friday sale on the "Playseat Evolution Pro" and a holder for the shifter, so ended up ordering that instead. Hopefully that one is good enough that i wont have to buy another one anytime soon.
I like more WR 10 than WR 8. WR 10 has better graphics. Its locations are clearer. Its brightness is much better. I respect, of course, ALL opinions, but my favorite game is WR 10. Thank you very much for UPLOUDING. cheers up!! Be careful buddy.
I've been hunting for a quality rally game for the series X, I'm coming from dirt rally 1 and 2.0 on ps4. Is this series any good or should I wait for Codemasters to come out with theirs? I'm a huge fan of Dirt Rally 1.0. I think this is by far the best rally game on consoles. Generations has me really wanting to jump in on this series.
@@runitred will definitely pick up Generations. I see its $49cdn. Once CM/EA's game comes out it will be easily be $69-$79 range to play a licensed rally game.
I have 9 and I really liked that one. Didn’t like 10 however didn’t play for all that long either. Generations looks like it is better than 9 and 10 and also looks like it should’ve came after WRC 8 lol
10 is easier... 8 is more realistic driving experience. Generatikns has good graphics. Though personally wrc 8 would be the ultimate if they had more cars and tracks... j.m.o...
Not the game…I meant the real championship. Remember the game is built around the current championship season. If Germany wasn’t part of the calendar then that’s probably why Germany isn’t there ‼️
@@runitred exactly, I'd say the whole calendar in WRC10 is pretty messed up since we didn't have Arctic Rally Finland and Rally Monza BUT we got Japan and Sweden in the game.
@@adalbertosilva4291 I have no issues with the gravel on WRC 10 but I fully agree with you about the twitchy feeling on tarmac. Funny enough I was trying out the current WRC Generations challenge and it didn’t feel good at all. WRC 8 had a better sensation on tarmac compared to WRC 10 for sure

It’s WRC 9 for me. But I’ll be moving to EA WRC in a few
Wrc 10 tries to hard to be dirt style driving. Wrc 8 was a really good sim.
WRC8
Left one looks better

Lol. Well..like anything else, you have to go through the learning process. When you get good at it you’ll never think about a controller again🤣

It’s an overall improvement from wrc 8. Hope they continued improving in wrc generations.
Wrc 10 looks like a Cartoon
I’d more say that about 8 than 10
For me wrc8 is best

WRC 8 is more stable on the road than WRC 10, and they removed Germany in the 10 why ?

I didn’t get to play 9 but I prefer 10 over 8
Me too. I feel physics in 8 is better. The 9 drops a little and the 10 too.
10 feels more realistic than 8. The cars in 8 moved a bit stiff and I never felt like I had full control of the cars
What’s your controller settings on wrc 10?
I can’t recall since that’s been such a long time ago. But it wasn’t much change from the standard setup
