- Just wanna start to say thanks to EA for the EA Sports WRC game code! :)
And Im starting of the game by driving the Hyundai Rally1 on a tarmac stage in Monte Carlo!

I think they made the Hyundai sound even better compared to the Preview demo
I noticed that too. All WRC1 sound different in a very good way. They're so detailed, you can hear the complexity of it all. The downsight is that they didn't put that much effort into the other cars, specially the rally2 ones. The I20 anti-lag is a bit off, the fabia rs has a peculiar sound and I think it should be louder than it is, as well as its own anti lag. Same for the anti-lag in the 208 rally4, should be louder.

@@franciscogouveia1573true, some vehicle antilag are way to soft, dont understand why they put the mk7 fiesta r5 engine sound in the mk2 fiesta rally2 r5 car and put the fiesta mk2 r5 engine sound in the mk7 fiesta r5 its just stupid!
How are you finding the performance? On PS5 theres a lot of stuttering and frame drops. Other than that I think the gameplay is 10/10
the graphics produced by UNREAL 4 engineering are so different, what is happening here?
He might be playing under lower settings
Graphic is worse comparison to Dirt rally 2, i'm testing it with the pre access...
the graphics are not very good on many stages. to me, it's a serious downgrade from DR2. I think it's mostly the lighting and textures
Graphics are worst, Huge fps spikes and drops with my rtx 3060ti even at medium settings 1080p. The usual Unreal Engine problem smh.

Turn down tire friction a bunch
the traction on tarmac looks almost a little extreme. The recovery from the high turn entry speed and poor racing line at 2:30 makes it seem a little arcadey. You should of had 4 wheels sliding after that especially at that speed but it hooked up instantly and you were able to straighten it out easily.
Because it's still a arcade game. Fast paced
How did you made the game not to look too yellow? The colors are pretty well
can you use a handbrake without a clutch i'm on a fanatec wheel?
I can see that the car sticks to the road excessively, the control of the car is easy, but not realistic.
on youtube this game looks at least 10 years old lol

I like that the Monte Carlo stage looks totaly different from DR 2.0. More like in the last WRC Gen game.
Because this is the real road they use in the WRC. In Dirt Rally, it was a fictionnal road inspired by the Monte Carlo environnement.

wtf are you saying? in dr2.0 all stages are real stages too, like in ea sports wrc. In WRC Gen it was not real satages

Maybe Dirt roads are real roads, but they're not the ones used in the WRC championship.
Maybe they should have sticked to the ego engine
The big move of cooperating with Codemasters went well (obviously) for EA...
I mean... these sounds, these physics plus the improved handling system... playing this is just enjoyable!
I just personally don’t understand the career mode, I don’t know if it is my lack of knowledge of how the real WRC works but I don’t get why I have to compete in things like rally4 events when I chose the main WRC as my competition

Arcade game again.
Arcade sells more so that's to be expected from a big publisher. Look at Gran Turismo, Forza, Snowrunner and NFS. Successful franchise with arcade physics.
I really hope they fixed the AI on low grip stages.... in Dirt Rally 2.0 they seemed to be completely unaffected by things such as wet weather and ice/snow.
maybe you still don’t know how to properly drive the car on those situations, when I began playing I couldn’t win a single wet stage but now I can, you just need practice
@@lorenzobellucci5342 Maybe...but I can do well in community events against people...and I love the snow and ice handling as I grew up driving on those very things. However, I would go from being competitive with the AI in DR 2.0 to getting smoked by them by sometimes up to a minute in stage times on the ice and snowy tarmac portions of the stages in Monte Carlo when my times were still competitive with the top 100 on the leaderboards...still...maybe it was just me.
@@lorenzobellucci5342 No, ind Dirt rally 2 the AI is broken in Monte Carlo and it's known. Its timings are like it's using Softs on dry parts and Winter on snowy parts of the stages
So much tearing and stuttering. On Xbox Series S it also looks like a muddy blurry piece of crap.

That stutter at 3:03 looks bad. I have an RTX 4090 and using gsync ultimates and I am getting that same stutter.

how do you manage to get a warming session before the start of the stage? and do you know if there is random events, like DNF car standing by the side of the road? Great video by the way :D
I think at the beginning, he just reverses after the start, then after the "warm up", he restarts the stage and does it for real.

Certainly nobody in cockpit view. Commenting on speed physics and great driving in 3rd person view is beyond me. No need for co driver when you can see what is coming up from this view. Try to beat your time in cockpit view - I dare you!

It's a bug in the game right now. That's one downside of switching to Unreal engine. They will smooth it out in the future though.

Only thing I wish they would’ve add is the launch control, Rally 1 cars sounds amazing when they activate launch control
You can kinda do that by holding the handbrake and then full throttle.

60 FPS in every other game: "OMG what a terrible optimalization!! It's SHAME!!! Die You bad dev's!!". Every gameplay from EA WRC with something about 30FPS dropped to 15: "It's amazing, brilliant, great game!!. Thank You EA!!" How this can be possible?

I agree. Maybe getting that license was a bad idea afterall. Sometimes it's better for a game to be unique than trying to purge real world elements into it. The physics looks like it prevents the player from even spinning out (glued to the road) and the graphics look worse than Dirt 2.0.
Game is not good compared to previous WRC title. Optimization on consoles are very poor, interaction with bushes not exist, etc.....bad EA.

everytime i use the handbreak to take those corners the car either fucking stops midway, or spin out of controll.. i cant seem to get it right.

Awesome driving! I'm still learning the handling. It's really not the same as dirt rally 2.0.
Still has the center pivoting point. Someone said it moves foward on braking but so far from what i've seen, its pretty much same as D.R.2.
That wont stop me from playing and enjoying it. Just wished it was actually simulated. Oh well 🤗
