The voyager does not reach 40mph with the 105s. That claim is in reference to their 110mm wheels paired with the 32T pulleys. Max speed with 105s will be around 36mph if you’re a light rider. So you pretty much hit top speed, use gps and/or radar to test true speed
Im a boosted board owner. I bought the carbon fiber when it first released and well nothing is like a boosted board. Well, i wanted a new board and i ended up going with meepos aurora, the one that lights up green. The biggest distinction was how big the wheels were on meepo then my boosted board. Its so fast and much faster then mine (36-40)mph maybe 36 only. The battery lasts a long time i mainly use it at night with the lights and it goes. I plan on changing my wheels soon bit i love my board. I heard people say “dont theyre cheap they wont last” meepo has been in the eboard business longer then everyone except boosted when it existed and one wheel. Yes i was also worried it was a china product but i dont have any issues. I highly recommend anyone who loves riding to look into the light eboards (light up) the red the purple lights look amazing! I almost bought a purple one from an american company but yea…. Just saying riding at night the compliments i get, priceless… i dont believe the sell the aurora anymore but u can find other companies that do and u.s. companies for peace of mind…
Great review. I've got a Meepo v1. And still love it. 25mph was plenty enough for this old dude. I felt like I was doing 50 in a car in a 25mph zone. And yes, I've eaten plenty of pavement pushing it's limits. You've motivate me to upgrade. I got my eyes on the Vader Where can I get that T-shirt you are wearing?
Acedeck is having clearance on the NYX Z1 (not affiliated); just thought to drop it here that it's a *deep* discount, like 900 USD, in case people looking for a non-suspension board.
If you are looking to dip your toes into e-skate for the first time, i think the V5 is a great starting point. Its not terribly expensive and provides a great ride! Its a longboard so far more stable than the shortboard entry level options. Great controller, fine range in base model, and a very reasonable top speed (speed will be an interesting aspect of comparing rides with onewheel...you'll be able to go faster and more stable for longer rides.)
Editing on this review was excellent. Quick snaps to each comment. Great job also on the review itself
*Great coverage/summary of these boards*
🤙🏽⚡️🤟🏽⚡️👌🏽
Appreciate it!

Very nice 🔥🤘🔥
What would you recommend if you come from onewheeling and have decided to try e-skate? Still the V5?

There's a cheaper electric skateboard on shein rn for about $150
The Most $$$ in the thumbnail has its wheel tread facing the wrong way, just so you know!

Bro looks so unstable in all of the B-roll. I recommend either dialing in your bushings or slow down until you're comfortable.
1 it is low Technology rc car 2 china quality and 3 ask high price 4 unknow band and no history most of all electric skateboards
