The frame you put it on is like $250. So this whole setup is closer to 600

How to do you find the feedback on f1 23?
Exactly my set up .. but wife and mom keep complaining about occupying huge space, and its really annoying to fold it and unfold it everyday. Peace
I put my setup in my office because this way the only trouble I got is to turn on the PC, sit down and play. If you gotta do anything above that you'll eventually put everything aside to collect dust.

you can get some pipe and get a car chair from an abandoned car and thats it, you got the cockpit
Where tf you finding an abandoned car, + it isn’t nearly that simple. You have to pay for it, you can’t just taken it. And you need a frame. It would cost at least £200 for the frame if you took it off a car, if you used the right materials and not paper mache

What are people's opinions on the Logitech G29 vs. Thrustmaster T300 RS? I have the latter and I love it, but I've heard people say similar things about the G29 and I know they compete in a similar price point.

Fanatec DD and Moza entry level direct drive setups are much cheaper now
Totally agree, Logitech is now just an overpriced toy.
Got this for $300 in December 2022. Cheapest fanatec DD wheel that is PlayStation compatible was and still is $700. The cheapest DD wheel now is $500, and that is PC only. Can’t use it on Xbox or PlayStation.

Until Fante and moza get console support for most of their wheels their trash. I do have a pc but prefer my PS5, once it has the console support they’ll be golden
@@comicninja6742 Fanatec has console support for both ps5 and xbox. Also, consoles have terrible FFB compared to PC. Also the only proper sim for consoles is ACC.
How you can maintain clean that?
My driving Sim set up I use a stand that can hold the wheel cause I don't have room for a chair like that

There are two paddles on the back of the wheel if thats what you're asking
One per side The only steering wheel that has clutch paddles for that low price is the pxn v10

I think that the thrustmaster weels are better for the price. The Logitec has a too old ffb technic
Tech wise ? direct drive is better. but its still more expensive.
Build quality wise ? Logitech is usually way better than thrustmaster.
my g29 outlived 2 tm ones, t300 and t500 rs gt.
unless you get really serious about simracing Logitech g29/920/923 wheels are good wheels with great compatibility. Stuff like truck sims, arcade racing, casual simracing won't benefit that much from direct drive and bone crushing ffb torque. My fanatec dd with 8nm torque caused me wrist problems before i had to tone it down.
Even better when you get a good deal on a used one. Any wheel is better than no wheel and the one within your budget is the best one to start with.
i still have my 180° usb powered wheel ( which was my second ever one as first one got stolen) and my brother is having the time of his life going 130 on Highway with a 20t truck using it.
Use that money to buy a better e-brake and a better shifter imo, they affect your gameplay more compared to difference in gear ffb and dd

because tm quality sucks and if you do anything that needs hard counter steering they are quite easy to break.

First the screws for the fixed setting on the playseat don't come with the base also the best budget setup for someone that wants quality and smoothness is thrustmaster my friend.

@@chesternimitz8357 Logitech wheels are cheap plastic toys sold at a premium because of brand name, it uses helical gears which is awful and ancient technology, Thrustmaster is slightly beter being belt driven, but really with DD wheels seeing a huge price drop recently ($400-$500 for the base, wheel, and pedals) there is literally no reason to bother with this plastic crap, get your self a DD setup from Fanatec or Moza

Wow what a time, yep 290£ is very very cheap, for most people thats expensive, but u forgot to say about your racing sim seat, its not 290 but whole setup goes into 600-700£ lol (do not forget about ps5 and tv, so that setup costs much the same for like very good specs pc setup in those days, if i can make a choise, i will really buy a car or buy a pc rather than this

man if you found money for cockpit you should be able to find money for good steering wheel. If you dont have enough money for both, then better to race with good steering wheel but without cockpit.
