  • Leopards are one of the big cats known for their remarkable adaptability and widespread distribution across Africa and parts of Asia.
Leopards have a sleek, muscular build with a coat covered in rosettes-dark spots that resemble roses. Their fur is typically golden-yellow with black spots, though this can vary depending on their habitat.
Leopards are smaller than lions and tigers but are still powerful predators. Males usually weigh between 66 to 176 pounds (30 to 80 kg), while females are slightly smaller.
Leopards are incredibly strong and are known for their ability to carry prey much larger than themselves up into trees to avoid scavengers like hyenas.
