I remember watching my first 2 grandsons while Mom went out for New Years Eve 1999. We watched a silly movie. I just spent Christmas with these same boys/men. They are 27 and 28. My oldest son was born in 1975 at that time it was almost inconceivable to think he would be 25 in 2000 but here we are about to enter 2025 and he will be turning 50 (now that is inconceivable)! I am surely not old enough to have a 50 year old child. 😆 I'm wishing a happy new year to everyone. 🎉
Happy Birthday to Him. I too was having a Son in 1975 But His Stubborn self said No Way. I started labor in Nov. kept having trouble till Jan 1 spent New Year All perapt for delivery. Doctor saying this is it. I told them it better be and I was going to spank him first. at 7am I was sent home in tears. but at 6pm on Jan 23 after a Doctor appointment I went into really bad pains. got to the Hospital at 9:30pm and 10;05 Here he is.. 7lbs 4oz,but I died watch the Doctor say we can't lose her now.. Yep I am Blessed to see him 49 and when my Daughter turn 56 this year I said the same thing.. LOL No You can't be.. LOL Child bearing is No Joke!!

This is my happy place for sure. There is so much sadness in the world and everyone says brush it aside and enjoy the happiness around you but the sadness always has a way to sneak into our lives and some of us are not able to deal with it especially those of us who are usually on our own. Watching this wonderful family and their farm kids is a blessing.

Mootilda looks like she's gaining a bit of weight...she now looks so healthy...does the heart good to see her walking and running and playing...all due to your love and diligence... I must admit I'm not a vegetable eater, but I love watching your garden grow and Brooke (and you too Jason) making different dishes and preparing the veggies in different ways...my husband had a garden a few years ago...grew more tomatoes than he knew what to do with...carrots were stunted...green and yellow beans never made it inside...he ate every one before it could...Once my back and knees heal up, I would love to have raised beds...I love gardening veggies and flowers... Enough of my ramblings...thanks for being you, folks❤🫂

I'm telling ya, I just LOVVVVVVE that pony!!!!! LOVE watching her run! What a life she has now!!!! BROOKE you need to put a pan under your sauerkraut just in case it boils over which sometimes it does. It will make a MESS on your cabinet.
You can ferment the stalks to. Just cut them out and stick in the jar. They are so good fermented. I'm 68 and always packed the jars with the shredded cabbage, add 1 table spoon canning salt, fill with cold water. Put lids on, store in a dark and cool place. Jars turned upside down. Mine always stays pretty and white. If it turns brown, something went wrong. PS So good with soup beans and fried taters ❤️ Great eating here in east Tennessee

Pocket is such a smart horse!!! i've seen videos where she and Peaches are together.....gravitating to each other, etc., but they way Pocket was running outside, and back inside the barn to get Peaches...i actually did laugh out loud. 🤣🤣🤣

Yes! Best physical therapy. The vets were saying that she needs to use that leg, and the prescribed physical therapy is about that. Bootsy must have gotten the memo cause she is totally helping.

Next time you ferment cabbage save one of the outer leaves to place over the cabbage in the jar and then put your weight on top. It keeps all the cabbage bits under the liquid. Stuff floating on top can mold. You'll love the sauerkraut...delicious!

As an animal rescuer I dont see this end of it, I send them off to the vet and they go straight wherever their going, but we do say let the animal tell you. Im so glad to see that Matilda is making great progress with her walking. It might be a long process. But it will be well worth it. And I’m ready enjoying watching the friendship between Peaches and Pocket blossom. It’s so heartwarming to watch Pocket encourage Peaches to run with her. I’m hoping that the author that you guys are working with can create a friendship storyline about them for a children’s book. I think it would be a great book.

My mom when using a Croc for the sauerkraut she usually from the Grapevine and put a plate on top

MOO-tildas running says EVERYTHING. Its like she's running,smiling, laughing and just having a good old time with her friends and just being happy. If this isn't the BIGGEST Thank You ,I love you guys, I don't know what is. You go girl show everyone what your all about 🐄❤ OMG Thats a scratching post, I love it. As an animal rescuer I dont see this end of it, I send them off to the vet and they go straight wherever their going, but we do say let the animal tell you. You know more than me about farm animals and im sure the same goes they will let you know if their hurting. Thank you guys for helping them and giving them such a beautiful place to live. Their all full of the Zoomies today. 😂😂😂

Im so glad to see that Matilda is making great progress with her walking. It might be a long process. But it will be well worth it. And I’m ready enjoying watching the friendship between Peaches and Pocket blossom. It’s so heartwarming to watch Pocket encourage Peaches to run with her. I’m hoping that the author that you guys are working with can create a friendship storyline about them for a children’s book. I think it would be a great book.
