Agree or disagree? LMK!!
Cover girl also has a ‘concealer’ that is the exact same as well. Metal tip your supposed to just dot. Which came out before both DC and Rare
Can you do essence makeup line ?
His knowledge of everything from technique to what’s going on in the makeup industry is so cute and clearly illustrates his LOOOVE for you. 🥰🥰🥰
Swatch model is making the video next level. Tati did one video where she did her makeup but her husband James did the talking and another with her sister. He’d be PERFECT for the job. They were hilarious!!!
Bangs person here 🙋🏻♀️ chiming in about makeup on the forehead. I pin the hair back completely at the start of my routine, put a bare amount of foundation on my forehead, and set with a thin layer of powder. By the time I’m done, the makeup is fully set and doesn’t transfer to my hair. I’d never apply heavy makeup, because yes, that would make a mess up there and it’s mostly hidden anyway. Unless I’m wearing a hat, I don’t find that the foundation impacts my bangs over the day. Edit: I should state that my bangs have a slight roundness, so they don’t lay completely flat against my skin. That probably impacts my experience.
I’m really liking them on you! You look great both with and without them. :)
We love the swatch model commentary!!
Love the swatch models commentary he definitely adds something !
I always enjoy when the swatch model makes an appearance! I enjoy his perspective and the 2 of you are so good together on camera❤
The bangs are so cute!!
You look amazing!
Always #fax❌fails. Love you. Love the hair too. I’ll edit after I watch. YES WE LOVE LEE’S COMMENTS ❤. He is hard to hear tho for us older babes😂😂😂😂😂
YES WE DO lol
@@MaryamMaquillage I dont put products under my bangs. Only on sides
I just got bangs with made me think…. Maryam would rock bangs… and here you are…. Rockin em
We love Lee's guest appearances and opinions!
Thanks Lee for the information on the high end banana bright eye cream. I’ve been wondering what would work out for me. Love you both 😊❤❤ And thank you Queen, for the information on all makeup products I have to save my coins…
I wanted to comment this on the last video with Lees commentary but he just says the FACTS. He said what we were allllllll thinking about Keys makeup 👀 Here for his honest opinions on things 😅
right?! no filter whatsoever lol
I really enjoyed this video. I really liked you two talking throughout the video, too!
Thank you about mentioning the Dominique Cosmetics. That’s the first thing I said when I first saw it as well. You should make a video in Spanish it’ll be so awesome to see! ❤❤❤❤
I wish my Spanish was good enough, I need to level it up lol
Love ❤️ the Swatch model comments and this video 📼📼📼 of yours still remains one ☝️ of my favourites 😻😻😻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻♥️♥️♥️
Love the commentary his knowledge is so great. You guys are such a great couple. Xoxox
Hereee for this! Always❤❤❤
I meant the commentary and fave x fails lol❤️
When I had bangs, I pulled all my hair away from my face with a headband when applying makeup. I probably used less product overall on my forehead, but it still got the treatment- foundation, bronzer, setting stuff, etc.
I have side swept bangs & I put foundation on my forehead! It's windy and cold where I am, so I put foundation everywhere.
I'm in live with your lip combo today ! Its a perfect shade for me ! Just on the more expensive side but i'm sure it worth it 💚🌿
The LYS lip products look so good, I can't decide which I want!
That GXVE beauty wand looks likes the old e.l.f. 3-in-1 mascara wand. I loved that mascara, I wish it hadn't been discontinued.
We love the commentary!!!
Hey 💓 I totally agree with you that Too Faced has either hit or miss products. I grabbed a blush in the shade candy clouds (mostly because it looked like a Dior dupe) and it applies beautifully. Impatiently waiting for my Sephora order to be delivered that contains my Danessa Myricks blurring blush and 2 LYS (such an underrated brand) lip pencils to be delivered so I can try them out.
Love hearing you speak Spanish 💕
Love Lee! He is always welcome ❤️ Love your videos. 😊
As always my favorite videos. you always give such great information on each product =)
Just saying I’m loving your man today!!! Great questions and answers swatch guy!!! Oh also wifey did her thing too!!! Luv y’all!!
❤️❤️❤️
Hey girl...Heyyyy
Love "Fav X Fails" vids.
I think it is awesome that Lee interacted in the vid. Coming from a perspective that Is not part of the beauty community but kinda is because of you is very refreshing. Love your channel beautiful 😍
When I had bangs, I did wear makeup on my forehead. I usually take my hair out of the way until I have set it with powder. Otherwise, my bangs would be resting and sipping on my moisturizer and SPF.
Love the bangs and the commentary in the background he's funny 😆
Thanks for calling out the concealer silver ball thingy. I have not tried either, but I am interested in one from Dominique.
I put dry shampoo in my bangs and use powder foundation works so far but am new to this as well just gotta match the foundation colors lol
Hi Maryam happy to see you pop today😁 this is random but would you do ever do a hair routine video? 🙈 I am just obsessed with hair in general and watching people love their hair lol and yours seems to grow so fast🤩😍😍 every week its a new length! I know it is a grace of God for you but I am still curious to see your current hair regimen, even the one food that you eat everyday or supplement if you would like to share it of course🤗
Aww thanks so much love! My hair is finnicky, but it grows uber fast for some reason. My mom is the same way, might be genetic 😊
Great video ❤❤
I need to try the DM blushes 😮
Wearing foundation underneath bangs, it's a must
I love bangs, but I hate tremendously placing foundation in my face when I have bangs. I would love to just pass and dont use anything, but my hair is thin and at the end of the day ends with so little volume over my forehead. You're right, nobody talks about this. Somewhere I can't remember whom, a youtuber recommended to avoid foundation there and apply instead just powder foundation. I dont know...
I agree with you. You have to put something there. It's down to the individual to figure out what works for them seemingly. Some can go full glam, full coverage to their hairline and others just use less product or only powders. Everyone's so different, I don't think there's a "one size fits all" answer. Not even for foreheads without bangs.
If I can be bothered to cut them and not just have them parted in the middle, my bangs are thin too. I look better with bangs but my hair is so fine and loses any volume so quickly. Plus, mine get greasy really fast. If I blow-dry my hair after skincare and my hair touches my face, I might as well go back and rewash it. I feel your pain 🤦🏻♀️
@@RhiWJ same here. I have a big forehead and oblong face, so bangs are the best hairstyle for me. But my hair is very straight and thin, so, as soon as little piece touch my face, it's over, it gets so greasy 😭😭😭. I would love to know how the heck Dakota Johnson does it!
I don’t like bangs on me but I know someone that has them it they look amazing on her. But she did day she has to wash them everyday because they get super greasy 😮
Ptr had a different one of those "primers" labeled as a mask. I've had it for years. If I mix it with foundation it works best. If I used it first I'd get the tightening but once I added foundation and re wet the product it didn't do anything. If I mixed them together it tightens as the foundation sets and worked better but...my undereye aren't looked like a saggy sac once everything else was tightened hahaha
Awww, we love the swatch model! 💚
You got me ordering that Westman Atelier highlighter! Bougie AF, like you said. :)
so bougie and geewwwdddd
Well done for mentioning the Dominic thing 👏 👍 and I used to wear foundation on my forehead when I had a fringe maryam
Everyone I've watched with bangs uses base products on their forehead but not like bronzer and stuff, just a foundation and powder or whatever.
And Gucci Westman’s next door neighbor just happens to be Martha Stewart 💁♀️😂! Watched a short documentary when she launched her brand , and they’d done a small “confessional bit” w/Martha , where she was the first person to share the launch of her line . So I guess that explains the bougie geographical aspect of it 🤔🤣😂🤷♀️ ??
Btw- love to hear Lee’s expertise and participate in your videos 👍👏😍!!
LOL I love that!! BOUGIEEEEEEE AF!!!
My favorite part was his reaction to the Jaclyn hill powder 😅
I’m wondering your thoughts on the concealer brush from pat McGrath and the rare beauty concealer brush. Are they similar?
very similar, but Pat's is smaller, so better for tiny detail work like spots. i love that one as well
@@MaryamMaquillage good to know thank you beautiful!
I hate most brow products and I'm a ginger. Finding a good color and a good formula is impossible period. My brows are coarse and stubborn too. So nothing matches them and nothing holds them so I basically waste my time and energy trying to do something with my brows everyday lmao.
I just tried the Peter Thomas primer and I felt nothing!!!!!!! It actually made my foundation heavy, is hard to explain. Btw I have aging skin 43 years old. I don’t understand the hype around this. Hugs 🤗
right.... its kinda bizarre
@@MaryamMaquillage yes it is 😏
gf, what is your go to cheap tinted primer now??? you turned me on to the essence 5.99 one and now its discontinued! HELP!! SOS!! PLEASE!!!
I know… so sad it’s gone. I haven’t found a dupe, and the DM is even better though it’s not a drugstore price point
Just use clips, or a hairband, to keep your fringe out of the way while doing your makeup and let it down once you're done #notrocketscience
not what I asked tho :)
@@MaryamMaquillage mmm, didn't I though? 🤨
You asked "do you apply foundation to your forehead or not..."? Then you said it was "gross" to have makeup under your bangs, that no-one talks about this and "it doesn't seem fully thought out".
I thought my answer was succinct and covered all of what you said, but I can see now that I didn't make it crystal. My apologies.
I said you use a hairband or clips to pin your bangs out of the way while doing your makeup. At this point I should've said yes, you do indeed put makeup on your forehead. Then, once you've set any wet products or they've set themselves, you unclip your fringe and style it how you normally would.
Logically thinking for a second though.....I've never met anyone with a solid fringe that I can't see through, that doesn't move and covers all the way to their brows. I'm guessing you've not either.
You mentioned demarcation lines and how some of the products changed the look and texture of your skin......wouldn't you see those differences as soon as there was a slight breeze if you didn't match your forehead to the rest of your face?
You took makeup down your neck. Doesn't your clothing touch that?
People wear makeup then throw on a beanie hat, which often results in a sweaty forehead.
Glasses can rub off makeup where they touch the face (sides of the head, bottom of the rims and on the bridge of the nose).
Plus longer hair touches the face all the time.
Oh, and people wear body makeup and/or fake tan under clothes.
So why is a fringe touching makeup on your forehead "gross"? 🤷🏻♀️
No-one talks about it because it's (sorry) just kinda obvious. Except you do see people put hairbands on to do their makeup or clip hair out of the way.
I'm not sure what you meant by "not well thought out' because the only issue I know about is that clips can leave a kink in your hair sometimes and hairbands can create a faux cows lick. They now have clips with a bit of rubber on them to stop the clip kink happening. Not sure what else there is 🤷🏻♀️
Hope that's clearer and makes sense to you 👍
BTW just bought the Danessa blush, after I bought the Yummy Skin Tint last week, based on your recommendations. The Erborian combo is on my wishlist too 👍
and mascara by gwenn looks like a mans part eeeewwww
Got distracted
Love you and your videos, however, I found the background commentary distracting and barely audible.
I’m 58 years YOUNG , and the “PTR”ummm🙄??…..HATED IT 👎👎👎!!! I love the majority of the “PTR” line , but this product for me in particular was sadly all hype 💁♀️😞!! Even if the price point was significantly lower I still wouldn’t purchase it 😏.
I hear you, it's definitely not for everybody... I tried it on my dad and it worked great on him, looked like he had a great night sleep hahaha... I gave it to him, I doubt he's still using it
@@MaryamMaquillage I’m so glad it worked for your dad 👏👍😊! I do give props though to PTR for being one of the first developers on this formulation, but “It” cosmetics just launched their version of it w/some tweaks🤷♀️. Are you going to test their formulation out on your channel , or you’re going to just take a hard pass altogether 🤔😂???
Only a white woman can get away with being named Gucci without being called ghetto...i just had to get that out of my system.... Anyway, gorgeous highlighter. I love anything that is described as expensive lol
lol you are right about that!! 😩😂
65 what a joke sigma are pushing into high end
Hi sorry I don't like that person in the background prefer it when it's just you x
Still love the bangs. Not a fan of the background commentary.
I like the background commentary!
