I just started roller derby after 10 months in a new town working remotely. It’s been amazing! Everyone is welcoming and fierce and thoughtful and it’s just been the balm for the soul. I’ve been so lonely, and so ready to invest in local community. It’s so nice to have a reason to grab someone’s hand again.
I started skating during the pandemic, and I’m only just now getting to connect with the skating community where I live. It’s giving me so much life!!! I too am happy to have a reason to reach for someone’s hand again. ❤
A really lovely look. Bohemian but still cohesive. It was a pleasure to watch it come together. As a pale girl with redness I try to manage, and olive undertones I always love to see your technique. I think I need to go grab some exa color corrector. I hope dinner was fun!
Can I just say in this era of tiktokers who are so filtered that they are unrecognizable as humans, it's so refreshing to see up close unfiltered video of makeup application? Because yeah. It really is. I really like this eye look. It's the weird 90s green/purple color combo but in a way that doesn't say Hulk.
Why aren’t they embarrassed. Seriously. It’s too much and looks horrible. If they can’t handle reality on how they look now I really don’t know what they are going to be at my age 56.
I believe MAKE's concept for the emulsion is to give constant hydration by suspending water in oil, so it doesn't evaporate from the skin. In addition to that, the water is encapsulated in the oil so it can release over time--I wonder if that is what you were observing. Great video, very calming and therefore necessary in this world. Thank you, Hannah!
Hi Hannah! I found your channel from a comment on Alanna Davisons channel who had been talking about cutting back in life and changing habits. I’m so happy I read the comments because I’m just so so enjoying watching your videos! You’re such a breathe of fresh air of all the humans I seem to come across in this world. You have so much passion, knowledge, real, human, fun, intelligence, calming nature about you. Your taste is eclectic and I love that you’re original, not trying to be a social media cookie cutter person. You come across like you’re sitting right in the room talking with a friend and I find it so calming to watch you. Thank you for sharing your creativity and passion, knowledge and humanness with us. It’s nice to find someone who feels real in a world that feels weird.
You. Look. Fabulous. And I LOVE the care and attention you give to the concept of Occasion when it comes to what you want to achieve with your makeup. Reminds me of your advice for choosing outfits.
Now that you've edited your own collection, it's mostly high end products. It would be interesting to see drugstore alternatives to the products you've decided are your precious for those of us with a smaller budget :)
I'm 100% impatiently anticipating the full face of Jones road. I hope they sent you those new bronzers (blushes?) !? I thought of you & Kackie the moment I saw them on Tom's critical sass. The lightest shade looks like it would be something I potentially absolutely love. 👀 As always, ty for the content Hannah!
I totally get how hard it is when you move and try to make friends and find people!! The last time I moved I kept telling my husband I needed someone I could call in an emergency. Lol. So excited for a new Jones Road video!
Hi Hannah, I am so glad for you (both) you started doing tango again. It must have been the greatest feeling, considering where you are coming from and your background.
I've only ever heard of Manasi 7 from 1 other channel, Lisa Eldridge, who used their powder in a tutorial and was so impressed I think she let out a little gasp 😅, which is high praise. So I'm excited to see you dig into and review more of the brand and get your detailed thoughts. The cheek color looks amazing on you.
I came down with a bad cold yesterday and when I saw you posted, I found the strength to get up, make a coffee, and cuddle up on my couch to watch. You have impeccable timing, as always, Hannah. And the look is stunning! If I wasn't feeling so bad, I would be doing my makeup along with you!
This was a beautiful look and you really woke me up to the idea that my warm toned blushes can all have too much of an impact and sometimes I might want something more soft, elegant and restrained like this. Thank you! Since I asked if you’d show us how you might use your new eyeshadow palette maybe I will push it further and ask you whether you’ve been thinking about your Spring wardrobe. I always enjoy seeing what you’re wearing too. Yes I am a fan.
yay I love this! you are not my exact color match (I don't have olive undertones, just fair neutral and a straight brown lip doesn't look good) but you are so close and I think I could wear this whole look! I actually rush bought gone griege from Amazon (I'm allowing myself occasional small impulse buys) and was afraid it'd accent my undereye circles (which as I age I feel like are a feature, not a bug, on my face) but it's awesome soft goth 90s. yay. So now I have the courage to think that Sisserou, and definitely your eye look, will work. Finding colors that work for me is so freakin hard so this is SO appreciated. And of course you look fabulous. Enjoy your night out!
I would really love to see you review Ellis faas again! I plan on placing an order eventually and your swatches and input are so useful. Seeing Ellis red and the eye shadow formulas would be everything.
I would love if you could at some point also review your palettes. Was is what you hoped? Did you have to dip into something else to get a look? And did you use every color in it? Because of your videos I have started making my own palettes and absolutely love the creative outlet and control of it. Some of them were everything I hoped and more and some fell very short of what I hoped. I love your channel and the philosophy behind it, thank you.
Hannah, thought of you today when I broke my no buy to place an Amazon order. Just replacing some necessary basics, EXCEPT for a new lip liner. GONE GREIGE in a lipliner! I am way too excited lol! 👄
I love watching you use your makeup! Would love to see what’s doing with your perfume situation, that’s the last thing I bought, a bottle of perfume. I finished up my travel size and decided I loved it too much not to replace.
Question, how would you compare the make gel cream, vs. the phytosurgence verdent force field. They have a duo of hydrascape and the gel cream… but I’ve also wanted to try the verdent forcefield. I deal with very sensitive eczema prone skin, with a lot of redness. I need something fragrance free and calming for my redness.
Fun vid. I’m still interested in duping Gone Griege. Melt Laced is close. I’m a huge fan of dusty purples, mauves, and greige colors on me. My fav lipstick formula is from Necromancy Cosmetica.
I discovered Manasi 7 a few months ago from an Eco Beauty channel I follow (lamouretlamusique) and so far I’ve invested in all over colour pots in Duras & Etruscan, eye glow in Ochaya & then recently purchased the silk finish powder, mascara, & strobelighter in sunrise. I love the eye glow & the blushes. I haven’t had a chance to use my newest products much yet, but have heard raving reviews about the mascara & powder. Hoping to invest in another eye color & the bronzelighter at some point! Can’t wait for your full review.
Omg! I hope Jones road sent you their mascara. It's 🔥 and I think you'll love it. It's the best longest latest non-tubing mascara I've ever tried. And it builds!!.... Oh, I kept watching and here you are using it!!
For me, the ultimate rockstar Hannah hairstyle is the one from the video when you've tried the Kaleidos blushes and did a gorgeous blush draping look. 😍 But I can totally understand the desire for variety and I am curious about the no-bangs Hannah. 🥰
New to your videos, and I cannot decide if I enjoy more your gorgeous taste in grunge ish makeup, or if it is the throw back of Anne of Green Gables vibe! Probably both, you really killed the look! Common let us have a collab with your singles! Pat McGrath would surely pull it off!
I love Manasi 7! I have light to medium olive toned skin and Duras and Kobicha are my favorites so far. I will have to put Sisserou on my wishlist though as I have recently fallen in love with Phytosurgence Condensate! I look forward to your brand overview, I've got one in the works as well and it will be interesting to compare notes :)

I must tell you, Hannah, that I just finished your dear husband's podcast... FOR THE SECOND TIME! It's the only non-makeup joy (that I didn't marry or give birth to) I have experienced in the past 3 months! I cannot thank you enough for turning me on to this genius and hilarity! 😘
AW Christina, thank you so much for passing this along! I'm excited that other people are getting the chance to see inside Joe's wild and brilliant brain :)
@@HannahLouisePoston He is through and through TALENTED; such a gifted writer! I look forward greatly to his new works... I hope he has something up his sleeve?!
Do you think that the make primer would affect longevity / wear time? I have dry skin and usually use moisturizer as a base, but I struggle with finding something dewy but not too dewy as I prefer when my makeup can last most of the day. Any recs?
Do have a question about your hair. What products do you use to prevent your roots from getting oily and be able to wash your hair once a week? Thank you😊
because I've been going 1 week between washes for so long, my scalp has adjusted and it doesn't over-produce oil (because it's not being constantly stripped of oil). It takes some time to adjust-when I first switched the schedule, my roots got really oily. During that time I would often rinse my hair with water mid-week for some relief, but I would never use shampoo more than once a week. I stuck with it and after a month or two the over-production of oil stopped. If I feel like it's getting weighed down towards the end of the week I sometimes use Hairstory hair powder. But I usually don't use anything!
Would you consider reviewing the Lancôme all over concealer? I am considering purchasing as my next concealer, but would love to see your review. The lightest color looks like it might be super neutral too! Also just going to ask again for you to review Nars suede palette because I won’t stop asking until it happens 😂
Interesting. I have a 8 pan custom palette I made for myself, and four of them are transition shades. I didn’t see any transition shadows at all in Hanna’s palette.
Hannah, us fair olive/yellow girlies are simply clamoring for your guidance on the new Jones Road bronzer in Dusty Rose (dare I say this enters into old gum territory??)😂
Hey everyone!! Does anyone have any recommendations for a super-saturated, almost Vanta Black Black eyeshadow? I'm lusting after Hannah's single black from the discontinued Kaleidos Futurism green palette. I have the first Mothership, which has a black in it, but it doesn't look as light-devouringly-black as the above. I mean, I *could* hit up Temptalia, but I thought I'd ask here. Either singles or in palettes. I stupid, stupid, *stupidly*, despite watching your video on why you won't be buying it, purchased ND's My Dream palette in hopes of the black. I hate it. I'm so happy for Sephora's rad returns policy. I dipped one clean brush in once, discovered that the colours are all too warm for me, and the multichrome is sad compared to the ones I have. Then I snapped it shut, reboxed it, and went to a Hero palette to fix the super-gross (on me) transition shade. Gotta say: the formula was decent, from that one I tried, though. From that one brush dip, I was able to do both creases. It's still a no for me, dawg. So, yeah: super, deep, bottomless-pit black shadows. Anyone?

I was just going to write exactly this!!! The dusty rose bronzer seems exactly like her old gum shade!!
Anyone?
Omg, so early again 😊 I love ALL of your content.
I'm here for you Hannah ❤
Where are these gorg earrings from??
I added them to the description box!
I’d buy it.
