First video in a while. Welcome back 👍 The 500X seems like a nice little workhorse. I know another motovlogger that is on his second one and he loves it too
Hey buddy, yes I try to share the work I do with orphans but hardly get any views, whereas the motorcycle reviews keeps the channel growing slowly, though I prefer to show the humanitarian work but I guess viewers prefer the reviews so I do them as much as I can.
I don't know if the mapping changed between your model and our 2021 examples (or whether it is the relative mileages) but we have never seen less that 75mpg (Imperial, not US) on ours. On a recent 2000 mile trip to Germany from the UK, we averaged 86mpg. But a great review, and it's nice to know that our bikes should last!!!
To be honest I would agree on your assessment of the mpg, however I was in hilly terrain and lots of off-road which means low gears and higher fuel consumption so I still think the mpg (imperial) was great and only support your conclusion 👍
Totally agree about the CB500X being a great starter bike. Buy a 2-3 year old model, keep it stock and you'll really enjoy. When you get bored of the lack of power and excitement, sell it and buy something bigger!
That's a good option and having it as an all weather run around is also another useful approach, but I do agree it's a great bike to hone your skills on 👍
Great honest review. I just don't agree with two things you referred: clutch noise and vibrations. I own 2017 model, now 40000 kms. Maybe these two characteristics you mentioned were solved on next models. Anyway, I enjoyed to listen to your opinion, and totally agree with the rest. Congrats from Portugal 👍🙂🇵🇹
Thank you very much for that lovely message, in terms of the noise it's on many forums though my cb500x did not make that noise but I thought I'd share it 🙂
Fantastic review thoroughly enjoyed it.
Thank you
150K 😮is phenomenal for any bike. I wish to own it as well, In Sha Allah 1 day I will.
Insha-Allah I hope you do

@@Bykersam welcome
❤❤
👍
65mpg? I never get less than 85 on mine!
I think I was riding it very hard or possibly because the bike has over 150,000km on it 😊
@@Bykersam I've just bought a 2019 500x, 10,000 miles in mint condition, I'm consistently getting over 90 mpg, it's unbelievably good!
@@rontheretiredone I think as I was off road most of my journey I may have had it in low gears far too often which would explain my low mpg buddy
Unfortunate... We cant have it easily ..
Sadly you are right 😔
Japs if handled properly can go long way as this ride proves tooo
Oh yes no denying that 👍
