- A beautifully restored Honda CB 450 with fantastic riding manners, excellent mechanicals, and vintage accuracy. Refurbished with Honda OEM or original parts as needed - spare parts included.
Later series CB450 carbs, and a modern regulator/rectifier have been installed, replacing the original selenium rectifier. A battery tender dongle is wired in for slow battery charging when stored. A great vintage bike ready for summer cruising.
I maintained one of these 50 years ago and always finished with a good road test on the back road I lived on. A really fun bike.
In 76 I turned 16...my first vehicle was a CB450 Black Bomber... Exactly like this one.. Exactly.
She was a 4 speed but took her from Portland Oregon to Lewis County Washington every weekend on I-5...around 90 miles...Great bike..many good memories
ah, no wonder triumph, bsa, norton et Al were having nightmares in the 60s.
I grew up with japanese bikes, all of them brilliant (a few exceptions tho'). although the last twenty years they seem to have morphed into manga comic bikes.
love that 450 !

Very nice and original. Dad's friend came to visit on his new CB450 and before he left he offered to take me for a ride around the block. I was 12 years old and that experience was the beginning of my affair with motorcycles. I'm 70 now and still riding. My current bike is a Kawasaki W800 but I still dream of owning a Black Bomber if I ever get a chance.
Wow. It actually runs godd, unlike so many restos.
Best bike for it's time
now im aged 55+ this kinda weekend bike appeals to me... im done with high speed.. i like the quiet B road about 55mph looking at the scenery... the speedo is very stylish i like it

Won-der-ful !! And the sound ! 👍✌
Thanks super
Sublime 😍😍😍
Is it best to use Electric or kick starter for cold start?
Depends on how long it's been since the last start. Longer sitting it's best to slow kick a bit to be sure there is no issue with internals that you can hear, then kick start should be good to go. Regular starts can be electric as long as outside temps are not too cold.
"Cold start" ... BIG DEAL. If its warm enough to wear a t-shirt, its not cold. Grabbing a handful of exhaust doesnt prove anything. But nice bike.
Is this bike for sale?
It was. It sold a few weeks ago.
@@raffiminasian7160 may I ask how much did it bring?
@@mikethibert9053 $13,700.00 was the price paid + 5% auction fee that the buyer paid. The bike went to a collection in Canada. Owner very pleased with it.
I'm guessing turn signals were an optional extra back then?
