It isn't whether you know how to snow drive, it is whether the people driving the cars anywhere near you know how to snow drive. In California, the snow ignorant drivers far outnumber the snow competent drivers. With this storm, the California snow competent drivers know to not be out at all.
Tourist should not be in the mountains when there warned not to. It’s tough enough for the people that live at Lake Tahoe The grocery stores sell out to tourist and locals get screwed. There driving and causing accidents or getting stuck. Stay home in the bay That includes second or third home owners

I remember this happened the year the Donner Party came across the Sierras, the wagon train to Oregon and Calif...there was record snow and many died...I took Nevada County history when I lived in Grass Valley in the 1970's...

Omg back in the day I stayed in nyack in a A frame and I worked at Soda Springs and Donner Summit and back in those days the snow they would just blow it off the sides of the roads and you would have huge walls of snow to drive to work and I worked at the snow lodges way back in the 80s when they first started bumping down the mountains, doing the moguls at soda Springs. It’s good to see the Sierra is getting the snow that they have been denied for years due to the industrial military complex.

That tour bus from North Hollywood, on it's way to Circus Circus in Reno is 56 people's worst nightmare. Can't make this stuff up. 2024. Bald tires. Sucks to be those people. Worst bus ride ever.

People: please stay at home for the next couple of weeks. Getting stuck in the mountains in the middle of a snow storm is no fun. Even if you have four-wheel drive, I would recommend that you not drive into snowy mountain areas for the time being.
People are hardheaded and refuse to listen to what’s best for their wellbeing.
The stupidity of people is remarkable.

You know what I hung out in Alaska too long but what snow is snow you cannot stop living you keep driving you put on change you drive a four wheel or you get a snowmachine you don’t stop life for snow we drive on snow we drive on ice we drive in the snowand don’t be scared of snow.
