My 15 month old just watched this entire thing. I’ve never once seen him focus on something for so long! We have a train that goes by our neighborhood and he LOVES it.
Steam locomotives are definitely my favorite kinds of trains. They definitely capture American (and foreign) pioneering heritage and spirit. Also, I’ve been kind intrigued by steam locomotives
Why ya americans just overdo it every time? In Germany we have signs with a P. And they Show when to whistle. Twice before Crossing the road. Isn't that enough?
@@ArkansasLocomotiveWorksWe want it, too. So we have to whistle two times before reaching the crossing street. It kinda sounds more iconic then. It doesn't if u pull the trigger like a 3 year old.

We had a lot of them in the late 19th and early 20th century
ADEN DANGOAPOSI we still have them.
This isn't a problem for me, because I appreciate all Locomotive types.

Southern 450q
4501
What is that whistle on the 4501 locomotive?
GiddyLi0n The train head I think it is a modified priceton 3 chime. Not sure though
It's a Southern 3 Chime
That is not a southern 3 they have a deeper tone. It’s been the Modified Priceton 3 since it came out of restoration
She always has a southern railway 3 chime.
Cool
Choo choo
TRAIN CHAMBER!
@@Jadon_K no
Imagine a combine rezer train
My dad drive a Amtrak train with him he let me blow the horn
I'm jealous
Odd how the European trains have that certain high pitch.

In Germany we have signs with a P. And they Show when to whistle. Twice before Crossing the road. Isn't that enough?
It's mainly for safety and regulation, plus it's fun lol
@@ArkansasLocomotiveWorks Not for the ears. It is Nothing Special then it's just annoying.
Ouch man, that kinda hurts. We take pride in our whistles and we want to keep people safe.
@@ArkansasLocomotiveWorksWe want it, too. So we have to whistle two times before reaching the crossing street. It kinda sounds more iconic then. It doesn't if u pull the trigger like a 3 year old.
