Y’all are absolutely spot on with tuna and rap caviar. My artist was signed to def jam in 2016 and when Tuma left and there was a culturial relevant person it completely changed
There is tons of great dialog around all six topics. You don’t have to start from scratch or throw away your momentum but their discussions just add different perspective. Lil Substance in the Sauce however At the end of the day do you boo! ❤

is doing what y’all are doing right now, and that is creating content. Because people really don’t care about your music. Lockem in with your personality 😊
People don’t care about the music because it is trash. Good music will ALWAYS win. Period. This ‘content’ thing is not a real thing. It’s empty calories. TALENT wins at the end of the day, every day.

Host all of your content on your own server and promote locally. That’s why it’s so hard to make it. People think they gone get rich on somebody else’s platform when that shyt ain’t gone never happen. You better off trying to get on your local TV station. Drake and Boosie got on like that. Dallas and Houston mastered it, a while ago.

Most depressing video ever. Basically dont do anything cause everything is bad lol. All the techniques I’m implementing for my next release basically is a dub I guess. Seems like you gotta resort to gatekeepers and cross your fingers they like it because doing things yourself is idk overrated? Not much solutions being talked about…you just gotta figure it out yourself and take what people say with a grain of salt imo
It’s only overrated when u pass a point it doesn’t mean it don’t work bro don’t get it twisted, if you time your playlisting to your release it triggers algorithm don’t let this stop you
I think you misunderstood what they were saying. None of these things are “overrated” they are simply overrated if you have a specific expectation. Playlisting isn’t over rated if your plan is just to rack up streams,however it is overrated if you are trying to gauge your fan base and how to connect with those people. Everything is in context my brother
