That's like, the best line ever
So true!!😂
Then you hear the door close after that line
Followed closely by: “They say I’m lazy, but it takes all my time” 🤣
This entire song has the best lyrics.
"Pick up the dog doo. Hope that it's hard." (RUFF RUFF)
Classic line from another song!
They took my license, now I don't drive ‼️ this man spittin'🙌🏾
They say I'm crazy but I have a good time is my mantra❤❤❤❤❤
And not to mention one of the best guitarist ever

Was lucky enough to see Joe on the same bill as The Eagles The Beach Boys and Elton John at Wembley 1975 ........ great day
Fits 90% of the rock and rollers out there!
But Seriously Folks… I’m Just Happy To Still Be Alive
1st time I ever heard this song I had just got back from deployment in the marine corps. My best friend shipped out a week before me and he was at the airport waiting on me.
Needless to say the party was on. He has since passed on and I always think about him when I hear this.
GREAT SONG. ROCK ON JOE...........
🍻 Semper Fi!
A few years ago I watched a program that Joe was jamming with Hall and Oates in their backyard studio. Joe was still killing it! Awesome! Keep rolling, Joe Walsh!!
Ooh rah.....go sit down order follower. Grow a real pair.
Spent many nights round a smokey bar with my dad, i always picture him singing it.
Who??? YAAAA. THAT'S fkng who. 🍺🤘🏻🇺🇲
Joe Walsh not only is he a great guitar player he is a master songwriter....
This was my husband Craig's favorite song, he suddenly passed away 3 years ago 😢 Every time I hear it, I think of him automatically ❤
My sincere condolences. ❤️
My sincere condolences 🙏
Same with my dad. It's his birthday today and I just wanna listen to it and have a good cry
Bought the album on the strength of this song haven't had any regrets since I bought it in the 1970's.
*Sniiiiiiff* Ahhhhh...The smell of Coppertone suntan lotion, motorcycle fumes, Bondo, and BBQ chicken. It's June, 1978 in Detroit and this song is on rotation on the local WLLZ FM station. It's blaring on my Dad's Panasonic cassette radio. He and his buddies are working on their motorcycles and cars in the street, laughing and drinking. The occasional smell of strong weed pierces through the hot wind. Me and my brothers along with friends from around the neighborhood are taking turns jumping off the porch into the Doughboy swimming pool. It's summer and about 97 degrees outside. After that we play a game or two of Jarts. My new Huffy bicycle stands at attention on it's kickstand, shining in the sun. It's chrome reflecting the deep blue sky. What a time it was to be alive. I miss you dad.

I was born in May 1978. Obviously this song was created to warn you all about me
Summer 2022: This song
Summer 2024: This song
I saw Joe Walsh perform this in concert in 2021. He’s amazing
Saw this live with the Eagles that year, Joe rocked that show.
Takes me back to the summer of 78 and my first summer job I remember this dominated the radio and rightfully so... it still rocks today in 2021 .
Takes me back to '78 too. On my first summer job, 6$ an hour. Three summers later I bought a 2500sq ft. house and met a Christian girl that never even spoke to another man before, and married her the very next year. Supported her and our 2 kids on just one salary while she watched the children. Just sold the house a month ago for 2.6 million dollars and my mom just passed so I got her home which was already payed off.
God damn, I had life hard as hell. I really wish my kids knew how much harder it was back then, I wish they would work harder, they own no homes and have no wife or children yet, try to tell me they live paycheck to paycheck and can't afford food. I told them, find help somewhere else! That's what I had to do! My mother never left me anything. These kids have it way too easy and I get worked up.
But then, I listen to this song and it takes me all back.
One of best combinations of instruments ever. Good to see Joe is still around
Yeah this song just came out.
I had always rather hear the studio version. I dont want to be distracted by screaming. I WANT TO HEAR THIS FREAKING GREAT GUITARIST! Joe, i love this song. Thank you!
Joe Walsh is the best slide guitarists ever
Can't watch anything without a million commercials anymore 😂 Can't wait for a RUclips competitor to come along
Baker Street and this, defined a time.
Even tho I wasn't born in the 70s my mom was and she played this in the car every time we were on long trips and it gives my comfort nostalgia
Sweetie, I was born in the fifties and I still think this album is one of the iconic rock albums ever. Keep an open mind girl!
Theme from the boat weirdos is amazing
This... actually sounds really damn good for youtube on a tv as a monitor.
It's a good mix. Probably straight from the masters.
I love the guitar on this. One of my faves.
Besides Rap I love Rock this songs awesome! Guitars bad A!
Just adding to my 70s playlist, doing my research and came across this. Added it immediately 👍
Im an 80s baby, so it brings me joy to find a gem from the old world thats still as fresh as the day it was made 😎
This came out when I was coming of age. So awesome this is one when I heard it for the first time. That's when I really wanted to be a rockstar!
A masterful mix!!! One of the best rock tunes in every way. Performance, all the different guitar overdubs, done so carefully and precisely. ALL INSTRUMENTS in fact are mixed so well... defines top notch American sound and production. Perfect for the FM waves then and now.
It sounds so incredible on a great pair of headphones
Love that guitar sound Joe. Nobody does it better!
Still a classic!
I was at the eagles concert last night and my god how fantastic and polished these guys where I'm just in awe , when I heard this song live something happened to me when I heard the guitar solo it was powerful ,joe you are a crazy ol bastd ,,🤣and one hell of a musician, thank you.
The original members are all 74 or 75 years old. They are still rockin' and sound phenomenal. Saw them in April. It was a fantastic show!
Saw them Monday 9/11/23. Still got it. Harmonies like a laser beam.
*"Life's Been Good"*
*Joe Walsh*
I have a mansion, forget the price
Ain't never been there, they tell me it's nice
I live in hotels, tear out the walls
I have accountants pay for it all
They say I'm crazy but I have a good time
I'm just looking for clues at the scene of the crime
Life's been good to me so far
My Maserati does one-eighty-five
I lost my license, now I don't drive
I have a limo, ride in the back
I lock the doors in case I'm attacked
I'm makin' records, my fans they can't wait
They write me letters, tell me I'm great
So I got me an office, gold records on the wall
Just leave a message, maybe I'll call
Lucky I'm sane after all I've been through
(Everybody say, "I'm cool, " "He's cool")
I can't complain but sometimes I still do
Life's been good to me so far
I go to parties sometimes until four
It's hard to leave when you can't find the door
It's tough to handle this fortune and fame
Everybody's so different, I haven't changed
They say I'm lazy but it takes all my time
(Everybody say, "Oh yeah, " "Oh yeah")
I keep on goin' guess I'll never know why
Life's been good to me so far
....uh oh, here comes a flock of wah-wahs
I loved being a teenager in the 70s the music the muscle cars the erb
My mother used to jam to this.way cool.thank you!
Love this song joe Walsh u da man
That last minute of the song genuinely surprised me.
This hit from Joe Walsh went to #12 on the Top 40 charts and to #6 on the Cash Box charts. It went to #11 in Canada, #13 in Ireland, #14 in the United Kingdom, and to #32 in New Zealand. This came out as a solo hit during his time with The Eagles. In a special edition of Rolling Stone magazine's tribute to The Eagles, this hit made the Beyond the Eagles list, along with Rocky Mountain Way and Funk #49 when he was with The James Gang. I saw The Eagles in May 2003 at the Colonial Life Arena in Columbia, SC. They performed this.
The Eagles should have kept him more busy with song writing but Glenn and Don were the only ones who got to write most of the time
The last time I saw the Eagles was 2009 in Auburn hills and it was still one of the best shows the Eagles had even as good as 1980 in Detroit and in 2000 in Chicago. This band is the best American country/rock band ever and no one has come close to a pure non theatrical performance I have ever seen. No special stage props ,fancy lighting and just pure music
The 1980 stage antics of Glenn and Don Felder is one of the most entertaining side shows ever. I wonder who won that one? I would really like to know why Glenn said no more Eagles and Don Henley said that the Eagles would get back together when hell freezes over. I'm sure glad hell finally froze over in 1994!
Just saw them at the beginning of April and Joe performed this song. I love this song! It is truly a fun song. It makes me smile!
Maseratis must've been popular among American Hard Rock Guitarists back in the 1970s. Ted Nugent himself also sang about one on his song "Wango Tango".
Nah just exotic … no one had one
he’s cool 😎
geetar magician joe walsh. This is my "I'm drunk as hell song that I play on the jukebox at the bar"song!
Rock on Joe!!
I remembered this song somehow towards the end because of the guitars and listening to Joe Walsh sing.
So, has anyone here ever heard the song "Mama Told Me Not to Come"?? Reminds me of this. My late son's favorite band, The Eagles. Miss him and all his rocker friends.....Thank you music lovers....
Three Dog Night from Australia wrote that song.
Yeah, Corey was from Buffalo, Chuck from Manhattan and Danny was an Irish to America immigrant.

Great song and amazing singer!
And I thought Jimmy Buffet wrote good lyrics....Joe Walsh is a musical god
This jams sooooooooo hard!!!
Its a tough world out there....
I digress
The water will you do you no harm
Drop me in the water...
A thousand garage bands started in the early 80s
Because of this tune...
The best part of this whole album must’ve been recording the line, “Uh oh, here comes a flock of wah-wahs” followed by everyone else in studio saying “wah” a bunch of times.
YES!!
I've heard this song probably 1000 times no joke, but literally never heard that! It is epic
Love this part!!!!
@@abbigaravet5116idk if that's technically part of the song though, or if it's an "in between" clip before the next track on the album....🤔
Sounds like something a kindergartner would come up with
@@resetsetmefree478 im pretty sure this is the last track of the album, probably just a way to pay homage to the production crew in a way
Love this song..

We need a good 24bit Remaster of this album.
Definitely the best eagle
We were at the Santa Monica civic centre . What is so funny to me that Joe was wearing red silk pants. I was my be wearing a red silk jacket and Joe asked me if he could "borrow" it for his next session. Haven't seen it since. Oh what a wonderful time!
Those pinky slides 😊

Been hearing the Dirty Heads’ take on this song on the radio lately (alternative station). It’s an okay version (it’s not a direct cover, but still has most of the elements of the original, set to more of a reggae sound), but it’s missing some of the more quirky characteristics of the original (like the acoustic guitar riff that introduces the vocal parts). I still prefer the original!
