This is essentially “The Dark Knight Trilogy” of Spider-Man. In the first film Miles begins his Spider-Career, and in this film he falls. The third film is probably gonna be him rising to stop the Spot and save the multiverse and his family

I wouldn't say he failed, u remember he actually is one of the most successful n popular spiderman in his universe ✨️ he was doing good all the others have cops variations chasing ginger them n new hating them but not miles universe, uts more that in this fil we see his position as spiderma. Says guys at the end of the movie when miles meets the Prowler version of himself doesn't it seems like how Danny phantom meet his dark half and fought against him and also this happens when naruto met his dark side too and fought twins so do you think Miles will be fighting his prowler version of himself just like any other hero it's looking into a mirror but not see yourself but someone else entirely rather then see your good side you'll be seeing a darker version of yourself.
Nah his mom is going to die not his dad. Just like the comic book. It's going to be beyond gut-wrenching.
can i just say....how much i love this...usually its the main hero gathering everyone to save the day..but this time the main hero stuck and the other supporting characters the one gonna save em...
I feel pretty bad for miles. Imagine getting lied to TWICE by the girl you like, your former mentor, and everybody around you chasing you for simply wanting to do the right thing. He felt like the whole world was against him which it was but he still succeeded only until he realizes he's in the wrong universe.
I still laugh loud when Miguel clears his orders to "Stop Spider-Man" and says in frustration "Ay Coño! MILES!!" They really let some Spanish cuss words slip on this movie.
My first clue that miles was in the wrong universe was rios eyes in earth 42 her eyes were green but in earth 1610 they’re brown
They actually showed he was in the wrong universe when the machine booted it showed dimension 42

The part where miles relaizes why gwen peter or others not coming to visit him is heart breaking part of me wished that miles draw the line in the sand by saying "stay away from me all of you" while locking eyes with gwen which would leave her in heartbreak but also would strenghten her resolve to bring miles back and put a stop to slender spot

What I love about the ending to this movie is that it gives you an idea of "Its A Wonderful Life" but with Spider-Man showing a reality where Miles never became the persona and that dimension or universe became a universe of what if Spider-Man never existed seeing that without any superhero to save Brooklyn from its simple crimes, his dad stepped up to become the only hero and even worse, the idea got me thinking that it could even either be Miles or his uncle who killed his dad and even planned it out in the first place

Why is every spider people blaming on Miles in Across the Spiderverse? I mean, sure the Spider from Earth-42 is an original anomaly. But the Spot, Kingpin and the workers from Alchemax are the ones responsible. Can’t believed Gwen and Peter B. Parker would turned on Miles for Miguel. As much I can understand how guilty she is, I feel bad for Miles over everyone.

Did anyone else notice miles sort of has the power rangers thing with his casual clothes reflecting his superhero suit? In his universe he has a Red hoodie and black jacket cos he’s Spider-Man. But in that last universe where miles is the prowler his casual clothes are a purple hoodie and black jacket to reflect the prowler

The movie had gone on for too long and it was nowhere close to a resolution, but I didn’t really expect it to end that way. It was a solid move. I hope they incorporate something from the ending of the 90s animated series.

Post credit scene should have been something hype with Gwen trying to recruit Symbiote Spiderman which is the Peter that dates Felicia (Black Cat) or even better Dr Oct's Superior Spiderman (with the symbiote) which is IMO the strongest version of any Spiderman.
I just want to share my thoughts about what stan lee vision on Spiderman what I see is that Spiderman is a constant reminder about how we should appreciate people surrounds us it not about sacrifice it more about being selfless helping other in need and making decisions to help other rather for self interest but all of this is just my opinion
So does anyone know why Miles' spider sense doesn't go off when uncle Aaron knocks him out towards the end?
I think it’s cause he felt safe around him and he let his sense down
It’s been shown in the comics and some other media that spider sense can be circumvented if the spider person is too distracted or too focused on something else. Black Cat took advantage of this once by pretending to propose to Spidey, after which he’s stunned and she manages to injure him to get away.
Realizing he’s in the wrong universe, meeting Uncle Aaron again, seeing the deterioration of New York without Spider-Man and finding out his dad is dead in that universe all in such a short span of time is definitely enough to keep him off his game

I can’t wait
As visually stunning and groundbreaking of the animation, unfortunately, it was too much to take. Didn't have an issue with Into the Spider-verse, but apparently, they increased the intensity to the point that I left with a headache. The different frame rates of characters in the same scene, the visual distortion in the background at times, made it difficult to focus and was basically visual overstimulation. I enjoyed the story and would like to see Beyond the Spider-verse but may have to just read about it if the animation is as intense as this film.
You didn't mention that the spider that bit miles wasn't from his universe or that the person it was supposed to bite on Earth 42 was his double ganger who's now the prowler.
Art style is better than Japanese anime?
What do you think his relationship with Gwen and Peter with baby is like now? Miles I mean.

That's an anomaly. Miles was never meant to be there. So for him to influence the minds of Gwen and Peter B. Parker is an anomaly of itself.
They have all collectively agreed that someone has to die for them to be who they are. Since Miles was there, he was able to sway opinions, and that would cause a strain in the multiverse.
That's what Miguel is trying to prevent, and it's already in motion. I'm team Miguel. I get that they are gonna do something where Miles eventually figures out how to save the multiverse and his dad, but I desperately hope they don't do something so predictable and instead pull a earth 199999 where Spiderman officially loses everything.
Miles needs to learn the saying, "You can't save everyone"
@@OriginalSirSpeaksAlot uh No.. When Gwen found out that his father quits his job being the captain. She knew that was an anomaly, thus she knew right there that canon events can be rewritten. PeterB and SpiderPunk was already Team Morales at the get go.
But yeah going by the comics, even the 2018 PS4 game. Mile's dad did die. But this is the Multiverse so.. anything is possible..
@Francis Garcia I was more talking about the grand scheme of things, not that moment. Miles wasn't supposed to be spiderman, thus his being there wasn't supposed to happen, which meant Gwen wouldn't know that his dad quit, which means her father eventually dies. It's just a ripple effect. The whole interaction is an anomaly on a large scale.
Referring to the NOW, at least, you are right that his dad dying would also tear up something. His dad isn't a prominent figure anymore. He isn't a captain, or he isn't an uncle. He is just a person taking care of his family. Which means, of spiderlaws are a thing, he can not die. He must be saved
@@OriginalSirSpeaksAlot you know what this is just my opinion.. but even before all this anomaly happened this is all the scientist's Spot's fault for playing with the multiverse.. he's the one responsible for transporting that radioactive spider to Mile's universe.

Idk if it's just me but Prowler Miles reminds me of Wednesday. (HEAR ME OUT!) The way he tilts his head when he says "I'm Miles Morales." And then tilts it back saying " You can call me the prowler" ... NOT BLINKING!!! Tell me I'm right😂
My question is, was the spider than bit our miles supposed to bite earths 42 miles?
the implication is it could have been anyone BUT MILES bit since it left its dimension the world went to hell
When comparing the animation of Miles' Dad, and Miguel - the same body gestures and the way they talk, right down to the same body build, I think Miguel is future Miles. He is the result of never finding his way back to his own universe. At some point he comes to hate his, "nah, I'll do my own thing," mentality - and switches to believing & preserving the canon.
What causes such a switch? Could Gwen finally reach him in 2099, and the pair start a family. Promising that he's the anomaly, and can protect Gwen & the kids this time - he fails tragically. Sparking Miguel (aka: future Miles) to realise it was always going to be a choice between losing his dad, or his own children. The reason he's so intent on stopping Miles, is because he knows the future he's giving up with Gwen, by trying to stop his dad from dying.
The climatic fight scene at the end, where Miguel is chastising Miles - "you're just a kid, you don't know what you're doing", sounds like he's learned from his mistake. When Miguel said - "you will never fit in anywhere", also sounds like the voice of experience. Miles has a fro though, and Miguel doesn't. So what if the lightning Miles hit Miguel with at the end, transfers his powers? Is that what starts to change him into the vampire spider - along with other physical traits of Miguel's.
One last thing, Miguel has lightning bolts as his power too.

Even though the music was FAR worse in the original, the story was MUCH better. This movie was just meh, at a B- ranking. It never really focused on a villain or story arc pathway. It's too all over the place, making it hard to follow. But the Gwen/Hobie music finally added good music to the movie!
However tragedy strucked in 2023 during the conflict with the spider society Miles found out the truth expecting the Gang didn't come to see him for quite some time however they're given the cold shoulder Miles said goodbye to Gwen and trapped in the predicament of the counterparts of his alternate self as the prowler and Aaron Davis in Earth 42 leaving spot to exact his revenge there's nothing else miles could do leaving his friends in the dust just because he excluded them his friendship with gang are over if his parents finds out he's not Spider-Man anymore giving up hope to save anybody and the universe they'll ground him even more in a few years or worse they'll had him punished for leaving his friends a world without Spider-Man does not bode well if the one and only Spider-Man wasn't there in New York City in every universe it will never be the same anymore if Spot doesn't see Spider-Man everything will be gone forever😢🕸🕷

in other words its all about the money2x of course they not going to conclude it in the second movie...if they can split it into 200 parts they would...money babaaayy.

Spot is a far more sinister version of the Living Laser from Ironman Armored Adventures. Goofy crooks that become more creative after being mocked. The Spot was sillier and definitely way scarier

Why can't we just have a Miles Morales Spider-Man story instead of this totally played out Flash of Two Worlds / Sound of Thunder multiverse, metafictional nonsense? 15-25 years ago it was fresh when Simpsons or Brave & Bold had a multiverse reference, but after Rick & Morty, The Flash TV series, Everything Everywhere, No Way Home, Multiverse of Madness, Loki, What If, and not least of all, Into The Spider-verse, it's just tired.

@@larmando7377 They literally said in one of the trailers it was part one meaning they're would be a second part. Think before you act.
@@larmando7377the first teaser revealed that will be a 2 part story. The next one comes out in March 2024
