Okay, I’m totally embarrassed. I haven’t purchased mass market patterns since the 1980’s. Plus size patterns were SO hard to find back then I gave up and drafted my own or shopped at hella expensive specialty sites. So I popped over to Simplicity after watching this video and did a wee bit of shopping - 23 patterns into my cart I noticed they were ALL now $3.99 WITH free shipping. After tax, I’m only out $99 AND I have enhanced my pattern stash to the Nth degree! OMG! Thank you! I ONLY hand sew - too lazy for the machine - but I’m thinking I can easily conquer three patterns a month and FINALLY attack my copious fabric stash! Thanks again!
It is nice to see the plus size patterns available from the Big 4 but I don't purchase them. I found too many drafting errors when I used to sew as a smaller size that I stopped purchasing Big 4 patterns years ago. I know Vogue are not leading the charge into plus size patterns but I always found that Vogue were the worst for drafting errors..
Just getting back into sewing after 25+ years. I never would of thought to look to the Big Pattern makers for patterns for my size. The Simplicity dress is lovely, especially the neckline. Thanks for sharing!

Oh no! I thought some of the independent sellers were carrying them over there. I know for sure, that they are available digitally. They do have sales where you can get the digital copy for $5 USD. Sadly not the $2 paper like we have here, but might be worth it for a couple of these.

Hello! I did not realize there was plus sizes! I used to sew and have been wanting to do it again. On that size chart you showed, my measurements closely match the 26W - I normally wear an 18. It is best to go by your measurements, rather than the size you wear?
My DIL struggles with finding plus size patterns that don't look like they came from the maternity department the 1980s. Thanks for sharing, she'll be super excited. I really enjoy seeing what you come up with. Hugs from VA.

The knowme seem to be part of McCalls here in the states so I would look around there. They do have most of these available online as well digitally, they have some $5 sales. I am so sad to hear they are not selling simplicity in Canada anymore 🥺 its my favourite. I wonder if you would be able to order them at all.

Just went to Joann's today, since McCall's is currently on sale and found 3 new ones.❤ I got 1 Know Me by Duana M. Chandler, ME2030 - think I'll try the romper set, which was just adorable! Then I got another new McCalls M7786, view D, just love the ruffles down the side of the pants, and last, a Vintage M8379, of which i probably had an original in the 70's! I love all these new patterns and have been restocking up - NOW I just need to start sewing!
