    I love the Aveno Calm and Restore Balm. It's full of ceramides and works great on my neck and face. I use the Cocokind ceramide barrier serum then top it with the Aveno Calm and Restore Balm. Works fantastic, a little goes a long way.

    The La Roche posey cicaplast baume is fantastic 👌 and i like to use that when i use the Glow recipe avocado recovery serum. These two together have saved my skin lately and i wouldn't have tried them if it wasn't for your skin barrier repair video so thank you so much 😊

    I used the cicaplast gel for post laser for about 10 days and my skin healed very well. I didn’t want to buy a balm because I don’t like heavy creams on my skin but the gel was really occlusive and I was never dry. Definitely a good purchase and will use after all my laser treatments

    I just switched from AGENCY to prescription Tretinoin (which I used initially), so I am preparing for some flakes and redness...I just added the Niod to my cart. Thank you for the suggestion. Berkley is adorable. I bet he is a handful...fun!

      @@fishlife7073 Hello IMO - no. But, that is if you can get a tret prescription from. you doctor. I originally started with tret...(at age 60/62...and had issues because I tried to rush the process. However, i struggled through it...and a few years later, started Curology. I used this for several years...then went to Agency. I also used this for several years. (I am 74.). Using both, I constantly had peeling and flakes. they raised my script to .7...which is just too much for my skin to handle. (I do well at .5). I stopped Agency for about a year and I did notice the difference of not using it but I had no more flakes...which I loved. When I went to my derm, I asked for a prescription...and she gave me one. I am having no issues and I use it every night. I mix with Obagi #5...and so far so good. The tube and the Obagi with last me for at least 4-5 months....maybe longer. Hope this helps.

    I use the Oat Cleansing Balm. But when I don’t use it everyday, it separates. I just shake it up and like magic it squeezes out and it works great. Never thought to put it in the frig. Love your videos.

    I’ve tried oat cleansers and moisturizers on my retinol burns. They still burn and hurt so I still to plain oils like coconut oil to moisturize and castor oil till my skin calms down.

    Great video!. I've heard good things about the Cocokind Serum. This is not beauty related...well kind of. I've always ironed clothes. Do steamers work better? or do you know, I've heard they are far easier to use. If you use them, would you recommend a brand? I'm slow to the game...Thanks much

      Modulating Glucosides first and then Tretinoin for proper layering.

    • @SincerelyMissAsh
      @SincerelyMissAsh  Год назад

      Could be a harsh pairing. You know your skin best but I would keep these in separate routines as AHA and Tretinoin can cause dryness/irritation for some.

    Can the cocokind serum or DRMTLGY needle-less serum be used with tretinoin?

    • @SincerelyMissAsh
      @SincerelyMissAsh  Год назад

      Sorry for my late reply! The Cocokind serum for sure as it's a repairing/hydrating serum. If your skin can tolerate using the Needle-Less serum with Tret and you're seeing results then great but I do like to keep these two separate as Needle-Less contains a Copper Peptide.

    I been using tretinoin for about a year + n its weird it seems like when my skin does get irritated its mostly my chin n it seems like I break out in acne on my chin or it may just be the irritation alone . I can't tell if its acne or not but its always my chin thats the problem area.. when I take a break for a few days from tretinoin its cause my chin starts peeling again n acne so not sure if the tretinoin is always bringing the breakouts to the surface of the skin aka purging or the irritation is making red raised spots that look like acne.. I can't tell cuz when I take a break it goes away...

    • @SincerelyMissAsh
      @SincerelyMissAsh  Год назад +1

      It's possible your skin is purging. Sometimes I will experience the odd breakout when using Tretinoin but it's not all the time. Perhaps your skin is a little sensitive to it and that could be another reason for the acne.
