We have the exact model, including the front arms...Ours JD 5125r has 2500 hours, we bought it in 2019. After 3 years the brake system died and the mechanics from JD had admited that the brake system is crap. Moreover, the "automatic" gear box is already not functioning properly. On the other hand, we just bought the 2022 150hp model and it is super responsive!
The DEF filter is in the DEF dosing unit under the tractor. As far as tire pressure, it will depend on the brand, size, and type of tire as well as the ballast and loading on your individual tractor.
WBOS72 I do all of my preventative maintenance as well as most of the minor / major repairs on my equipment in-house. If I have some time when I’m doing service work I would be happy to record some quick videos!
Michael Coyle I don’t believe so. I looked at the parts diagram for my 5125R and it looks like the transmission, transaxle, and rear axles bolt together, but are not all one piece.

Does anyone know where the DEF filter is and what the correct tire pressure is on a John Deere 5125R?? 🤔
