2:05 I do this same thing with my Darkwalker Shotpad. It has a bunch of buttons on the left half that are all accessible with your left hand. So I put split and delete on the shoulders, up on dpad is copy, right is paste, down is undo, left is redo, then it has some extras near the dpad i use for play, audio detach, and the like.
I think if you use something like JoyToKey as a mapper you can use any controller.
