Age 15 I had to move back to my home country of Malaysia due to financial problems. Continuing study in Malaysia is kind a tough for me at that time as I need to comfort myself plus need to memorize "Negaraku" in school which is hard for me as I'm use to it 😅. But now I can sing both National Anthem & I'm proud to be a part of Singapore (1996-2005)

And indonesian government named the far east city of indonesia as Jayapura which is already sanskrit already there. All southeast asian words and alphabets derived from sanskrit and never in tamil. The real name of Singapore is Singapura which derived from simhapura. Singa in malay means lion. The same with sanskrit (it's derived from there). Pura means city. If you learn malay, you know what singa means.

I used to go to a Singaporean school (kindergarten to p5) until I moved to Japan and joined an American school. Lost my accent and forgot the anthem that I sang every single day even though I didn’t have to. 4 years later I find this video and OH MY GOSH ITS SO NOSTALGIC. I remember back in 2013, i was 6 years old. I wasn’t a Singapore Citizen, but rather a Permanent Resident. Every day, day in day out, my parents would search for this exact anthem on RUclips on our TV. I was very patriotic back then, not really sure why.

I remember back in 2013, i was 6 years old. I wasn’t a Singapore Citizen, but rather a Permanent Resident. Every day, day in day out, my parents would search for this exact anthem on RUclips on our TV. I was very patriotic back then, not really sure why.
