Man i cant believe Hardleg did an ENTIRE episode on Dinomorphia, he pulled every Dinomorphia card he needed, and seemed so happy the entire time. Truly quality content.
Just started watching the video - Hardleg chanting "Gilgamesh" in pulls only to be spooked by Siegfried twice is a feeling I'm sure every Fate/Grand Order player can relate to.
I'm still kinda bummed out that the english versions of D/D/D don't really carry over the business-related names from the OCG. Big bad fiends are cool. Big bad fiends working in an office is funny.

I fuckin swear the last 2 selection packs have been ultra rigged. Pulled for Beetroopers and Chimera and managed to get a playset of Fossil Dig, a Machinex, an Odin, and some Kali Yugas before getting 1 Atlas. Still haven't gotten a second or a second Sting Lancer
I love D/D/D its an interesting archetype with so much versatility so really happy to see you do this with them. They are a hard deck to learn so watching the progress is interesting.
I'd really love if in the edits like "hey i went in and lost / won x amount of matches" if there was a brief cut of the attach for game / surrender of those wins and losses and then it goes back to what Joe is saying. Those half seconds seeing it actually happen makes it feel like it matters more
1:43:00 Small correction on this Branded Lost prevents the negation of the *activation* of a card that would Fusion Summon a monster. There's nothing about it that prevents you from negating the effect (So it would stop something like Ghost Belle, which negates the activation, from being used on Branded in Red, but it would not stop Ash Blossom, which negates the effect, from being used on Branded Fusion) The second part of the effect that prevents you from activating a card when a monster is Fusion Summoned only applies after said Fusion Summon is already deemed successful (so once the monster touches the field). If the card's effect to Fusion Summon gets negated, then the monster is never summoned and that effect is never applied So, yes, Siegfried, which negates effects and not activations, can 100% be used to negate Branded Fusion through Branded Lost
@@Ragnarok540 It searches for your handtrap. The deck doesn't really put out a lot of negates, rather it put out its interruptions through sheer brute force, so getting your hands on a negate alongside that for free is actually really helpful
I picked up this deck back when the Fiend-Fairy event was live since I had no deck that matches the criteria and I just refuse to use the Labrynth loaner, honestly I've learned combo lines and ratios I didn't think of from watching you play the deck and your duels were hilarious and entertaining. God Bless you Joe! xd
I really want to try and learn D/D/D, it’s an expensive deck for me so it’ll take a while but watching this and other D/D/D duels is good to learn the combos.
Awesome episode. I really wanted to get in stream this month, but at least you got my sub. D/D/D's are one of my favorite decks. They have such an interesting style and design. I am not great with them since I have lacked the time to really devote to the deck since I built it in spring. Now that I may have free time again I look forward to playing them more. Also with my new free time I am planning on going to locals and due to how cheap the deck is in paper, I am building it. This way I can get my face smashed in by better decks, but at least irritate my opponent when I roll in with reams of paper breaking out all my combos. Maybe I should go to locals in a suit and tie, carry a briefcase and bring in some actual work related nonsense to make it even worse for them. It is like a wrestler taunting an opponent.
After watching the latest video on the channel where he goes over all of the videos, I had to re watch this one in full. I’ve been playing the deck for years and I wanted to remind myself how well he did. There certainly were some ups and downs 😂 however, again this was absolutely wonderful. Hardleg if you ever want to try again to climb with this deck, just say so. I have some fun ideas.
I remember when D/D/D was a simple 3 card combo that just OTK'd the opponent. No jank, no boring combos, straight to the point. You use Swirl slime, fuse with armageddon, make D'arc or High King Ghengis. Swirl Slime eff in grave, banish Special Ragnarok. Ragnarok eff revive Armageddon. 8k damage exactly, gg. Everything else in your deck was meant to continue otherwise. I swear I was the only person who knew this combo though, which was sad... everyone else was doing weird summoning madness with Lilith trying to abuse Crystal Wing.
*Hardleg warns audience he isn’t perfect with combos* Me: ok it’s fine *watches first match* NOOOOOOOO JOOOEEE YOU COULD HAVE MADE HIGH CAESAR MACHINEX HEADHUNT BROTHERRRRRRR
It's funny how adding dark contract with patents changes the deck's vibe from a series of miscellaneous demonic entities from another world into basically a dimly lit lawyer's office.
To be fair, that's actually the intentional vibe of the D/D/Ds, while the English names don't reflect it, most of the Japanese names are usually demon-businessman hybrids.
having a montage of the final damage of each loss between the longer games could be entertaining. I imagine the early confidence after a win while still not quite sure of how the deck works, and "hey this might be staring to go well!" then "Doosh! Doosh! Doosh vwaaah" of the following losses.
PSA to aspiring DDD players: Don't play kali yuga. If your opponent isnt stopping you from doing full combo and summoning 2 lv 8s then you didnt need to lock them out of effects.
I'm gonna defend Kali here He is not a good card for the 1st turn play HOWEVER he has some nice stuff in a later turn Like for example, when you're going 1st against an Eldlich player and then they set 5 in the 2nd turn, you can XYZ with Siegfried and Ghengis and win with Kali This card is honestly good really good as a crack back card against trap decks
My DDDs pair Kali Yuga with Infinity and Ultimate Falcon, card wins games pretty often, they are also birds of the raptor variety but that's neither here not there
I didn't play Kali Yuga for his effect negation, I played him because of the quick effect backrow wipe. Admittedly, it doesn't come up much in this format, which is why I eventually switched him out, but in formats with a lot of backrow it can be an auto win.
As a D/D/D player, and what some people I know call a archetype puritan, meaning only using the archetype related cards, I clicked on this video purely to see if there is anything he used I can use to branch out.
Ah yes D/D/D, I remember when the SD came out in early 2017, and that big spreadsheet of all the possible combo lines came out. I practiced those lines a few time to try and figure them out. Shame ZOO came along and invalidated it, and the rest of INOV format. Makes you wonder how different the format could have been without them.
That final version looks like a brickfest. You don't need to win every single game. You need to win most of the games to climb. If you're going to run Small World, you don't need Zero King or Cerberus. Triple Orthros is too much. That card isn't an opener, it's an extender. Dark Ruler No More is better than Droplet, because most of the time you don't want to discard. Vice King is a must. Super Doom Kings don't do enough.

I love how Duel 44 worked out in Hardleg's favor exclusively due to the fact that the opponent clocked themselves in the face with them shotgunning Nib.
For me a very fun part of the ladder climb videos is the people in the comments who either ask him to do a ladder climb with a deck that'd struggle immensely to get out of just platinum 5 and the people who say they'll force him to play some awful deck by joining the patreon as if Hardleg wouldn't immediately just say 'no' to that deck suggestion in the vote that's done with patrons to choose which deck is used in the next months climb.

They're demons that have conquered the different dimensions which is why in the tcg they gave them the king named while the ocg called them executives.

Branded Lost prevents the negation of the *activation* of a card that would Fusion Summon a monster. There's nothing about it that prevents you from negating the effect (So it would stop something like Ghost Belle, which negates the activation, from being used on Branded in Red, but it would not stop Ash Blossom, which negates the effect, from being used on Branded Fusion)

If the card's effect to Fusion Summon gets negated, then the monster is never summoned and that effect is never applied
So, yes, Siegfried, which negates effects and not activations, can 100% be used to negate Branded Fusion through Branded Lost
