Frugal Fighter has had more ascended drops than I've had in 10 years
Clearly, I need to just start a new joke account to get better drops, lmao
If you do the EoD daily strikes, the chests you get have a very high chance of dropping ascended weapons.
@@CurtisKJohnston I think I have had about 20+ Weapon Drops just from the Daily, its no joke

All my sides got dhuum armor drops, while my main has 0 after years of raiding. xD

Glad you showed this, and someone else mentioned a more full on guide/info about all this would be even better. Some things just fly under the radar compared to actively farming, actively doing events etc. There's so much stuff I still don't even know about, just being missed for years!

I took a long break from GW2, have fallen in love with it all over again… and I now feel like a FOOL for not just logging in everyday in the interim just to get the login rewards. Oh well, the WV dailies are at least fun! :D

Zero to Hero finally catched up Pog
IMO you forgot something else, you did the guild hall farm, but the home instance farm is profitable as well. You can easily double or triple your volatile magic by adding this farm. Also there is the Black Lion Expedition board which you can selects t1 - t6 mats from various zones in the game. and get it delivered to your inbox for zero effort.
Disclaimer: I know you know about this and have mentioned you hate the home instance but just additional info for the topic of the video.

the thing i don't like about these videos is that it doesn't apply as much anymore, since daily login rewards were replaced with wizard's vault
I love how Teapot doesn't even care to consume luck from daily login rewards.
you will need lucks to craft stuff later. better not to consume them...

5:20 - i run out of unusual coins regularly - strike shards i have thousands - they wont run out any time even if i don't do strikes anymore.
Park an alt at the Kaineng City chest. You get free unusual coins from it every day.

I would love advice on how to actually find a guild in this game. I cannot believe there is no actual guildfinder in this game. Map chat is not going to give me the info I need for finding guilds...
I’ve found guilds advertising in the lfg tool. 😉
To be fair people advertise guilds all the time in the map chat.

That's great but as a new player i understand like 10% of what's going on.
It's mostly been opening various reward bags from different sources. :) No worries, you'll get it in time. It wasn't precisely "just login rewards", because there were bits and pieces from extra activities like fractals, strikes, etc., to which you will get in time. What's the important message here, is that even by just logging in, you gather needed materials and gold. This is such a potent thing, that many of us actually have side accounts to feed the main one. I know it sounds a bit bad, but on the other hand, there are activities that are limited to weekly kills (I'm looking at you, raids) and having a couple of sides geared up lets you have more fun there and STILL get rewarded.

You need to max out your Arborstone mastery line to unlock those features.

yes, login to get reward, relog to toon on Kaineng JP (or other spots like Bjora or the Crystal Desert JP), GH to harvest (and maybe not mentioned home instance), maybe do something extra (VB Matriarch?), done, you have a few gold extra per day ;>
Well this is no longer relevant Anet stopped handing out freebies for loggin in now you get just 5 astral acclaims. And if you are not PVPer you dont get the 2 gold chest from daily. So no more Laurels, Mystic Coins, Obsidian shards for me

So if you spend 100s of hours to get all the items that can give you daily rewords, you can collect a few gold... Oh and it took you more then 5 minutes.
Yeah, no. HoT currencies pile up like crazy during regular gameplay, login rewards are obviously free, same with Guild Hall.
I guess you could make an argument for the strike currency, but even if you don't do strikes, you'll lose out on 1 Antique Summoning Stone a week. Big deal. Favor is like HoT currencies, Karma is free anyway and Unusual Coins are coming from the Kaineng JP Character.
So where do you spend 100s of hours exactly?
The economy is already suffering hard with deflation. What you want anet to give out free 1000 gold for daily login and 5 min game tour so that gold values same as copper
If you play the game these items pile up, but you do have to spend the 5 mins to convert them.

What I don't get it is... Why he says: "no real money required". And then, the first thing he does, is going to an End of Dragons zone. Fuck it. Huge dissapointment.
He means no spending money on microtransactions. You can't even use the TP on a F2P account. The expacs are a great deal, lots of content.
The game is basically buy to play... so yeah there is money required. No shit.
And it looks like he's playing on a PC? I bet he didn't get the metal from the earth, make the plastic and then build it himself completely from scratch.... such an absolute shambles of a series!
It’s impossible to play the (full) game F2P, if you could convert gold to gems on a free account I’d agree but you just can’t.
It is a buy to play game, what did you expect? I guess I can relate to some mildly annoyance because sometimes I see gold farming guides that require LWS4 (which I don't have), but still.
