    Coming from Destiny 2, where the LFG experience sucks, I was pleasantly suprised here, I pretty much LFG everythig, whenever i want to do an activity i start one up, and EVEN in map chat, when i need help, these high level ABSOLUTE CHADS and CHADETTES are more than willing to drop by on my apple when i need help. GW2 is awesome, i'm never freaking leaving this game.

    This video in my opinion really shows 2 things:
    -some mecanics could be a more implied or straight up told to the player. The first time I did it I understood the hammer was an important mecanic however I just didn’t know what I had to do with it. I saw the rune and I was like well I guess I’ll just spam every skill on the hammer without knowing the 4th skill unlocks after killing a cultist and that skill is what I should use. I didn’t know the corruption downs you at 40 stacks and to be fair they should make the corruption do some visual effect like progressively making the screen dark as you accumulate stacks so people will know that if their screens becomes too dark they have to drop the hammer.
    -You have to be patient when doing T1 fractals. I don’t know why but it seems a lot of players expect T1 fractal players to know every mecanic perfectly and then gets angry if they fail or take more time than an experienced group.

    Early on you want a blood ruby backpack(easily farmed thanks to season of dragons achievment) and just do your T1 dailies to get proper rings for your build. With socketed backpack, double socketed rings, pot, and singularity(last mastery tier) you get to 92 ar wich is kind of enough for T3(in the latest ones you'll be slightly short). And ofc you can drop earings, get weapons and armor pieces etc... T3 is where you start getting bang for your buck but obviously you want to do T4s asap.

      @@BotDetector-44 Arm Seals Edit
      On this level, there are two seals separated by a hallway. The hammer needs to alternate between hitting each arm seal, as when one seal is hit it becomes protected by a purple bubble. Accordingly, the other seal loses its purple bubble and can be hit with the charged hammer.
      After the initial veteran is killed, foes respawn indefinitely until the seals are destroyed and apply heavy stacks of vulnerability.
      Chanters on each side will regenerate that seal's health. The seals' repair rate is the same at all difficulty levels. Keeping the foes aggro'ed on one side will minimize the healing done to that seal, but the healing can also be ignored if your party moves quickly between the two seals.
      At the first (north) seal, defeat the veteran cultist. Hit the seal with the charged hammer.
      The entire group heads to the second (south) seal. Defeat the veteran cultist and hit the seal with the charged hammer.
      Everyone continues to run back and forth, dropping the hammer in the hallway when Corruption is too high.

      I agree. Even at T4 I frequently see pugs just stand aside with a gaping jaw, never touching the hammer yet also expecting the hammer player to solo all the adds.
      The game has barely any following outside of NA and EU, chances of 4 random pugs no understanding the single short sentence the mechanics are described to them are astronomically low. The leading cause of people not learning simple mechanics is just wilful ignorance.

    A common misconception is that fractals gets progressively harder in the higher tiers. It actually gets easier. Because your group gets better and better the higher content you do, the experience gets easier and easier. T1 groups where everybody is doing fractals for the first time is the most difficult experience. If you farm fractals with the expectations you'll eventually be part of some limited hardcore experience then save yourself the effort. Dungeons are more interesting than fractals. But if you enjoy low effort content where the actual enemy is beating your teammates on the damage meter instead of the bosses, fractals is perfect for you

    • @majkeljan

      can't agree, sadly people in T4 aren't that experienced as you think. sometimes i even had to carry them through JP parts of fractals.

    • @casual_citizen
      @casual_citizen Год назад

      @@majkeljan Oh really. Well, with around 2000 hours of doing nothing but fractals I have to disagree with you. Unless you are on the NA servers which I wouldn't know anything about, I think you are exaggerating a lot. I do dailies every single day and most days I do dailies 2-3 times on different characters just for fun. Takes no more than 2-3 hours. The amount of times groups just ease through T4 compared to the few times your group is useless is like 95% of the time regardless if it is early, midday or late night.

    • @sceadumor
      @sceadumor Год назад

      I mostly agree, with the exception of I can carry T1's really easy especially if I tell people the mechanics and tier 3 is hell, with other T3 players, it's by far the hardest. Tier 4 is definitely easier the vast majority of the time.
      So outside of carrying T1's it does get much easier outside of Tier 3's. Clearing CM's is better than Tier 3's
      While climbing on my alt I've had people not coordinate ANYTHING including Swampland Mists at the start and the get absolutely pissy about how people failed it when they portaled back to start and finished before anyone was in position, they did this repeatedly with me and another telling them to wait for people to say "r".
      Tier 3 climbing makes me want to pull my hair out.

    • @casual_citizen
      @casual_citizen Год назад +1

      @@sceadumor You can literally clear all T1's solo unless there is a very specific mechanic that requires more than 1 player involved. I agree T3 is the hardest stage because it's a mixed bag, some people are low on AR, some people are not quite familiar with tactics yet, some boss encounters are significantly harder than T1 & T2. But I think you're being just a little too picky on my comment if you get hung up on T3 progression groups. I was talking about the larger picture, fractals do indeed and in fact get easier once you begin doing T4 compared to your experience doing T1-T3. When you begin doing T4 dailies it only takes 1 good player in your group to hard carry you through dailies + recs. And the majority of the time everybody in the group is pretty decent! Of course it helps a lot of YOU are that hard carry, then of course you will think all groups are good enough, but in my experience there's 3-4 people doing between 20-35k dps on most boss fights (there are boss fights where low dps is natural). But to conclude my point, most groups in T4 have multiple people doing 20k+ dps, and when you get groups like that, T4 is no much different than doing T1-T3. Of course when not a single person in your group does more than 8k dps you know it's going take a while, but that's outrageous in T4 to be honest. People will complain and get pissed off. If the only thing you do is auto attacks you can do 8k dps.

    • @casual_citizen
      @casual_citizen Год назад +1

      @@critical-thinker666 Yea ok? It is possible to skip T1-T3 true, but that isn't my experience at all. I'm telling you I do dailies multiple times a day, and I've done that every day for at least 2 years. What server are you on? In my experience the majority of players doing T4 outgear and outskill the requirements by so far, doing T4 is at minimum twice as fast, as doing T1 with new players.
