I guess it kinda depends on how you interpret it, it's also written in Latin in 1486. Instead of taking its text at face value, you should look at it as a work of revenge by Heinrich Kramer(he got kicked outta Innsbruck by the local bishop for his sinister obsession with one of its local women, Kramer was simply a creep that was described to be senile and crazy). It is a work to blame his own lust on women. To be more malleable in interpretation, what Kramer meant was that witches work on their whim, and are instruments of the devil by working on those whims. They have God's permission to perform magical acts, as witchcraft can only exist if the devil exists, and the devil exists, because God exists. It's kinda confusing but you can kinda see how he makes those connections. Kramer's justification was that witchcraft can only exist if God permits it, and the mere existence of witchcraft is proof enough that God exists. Therefore if you say that you don't believe in witches and witchcraft, you're a naysayer of God and thus a heretic. Something like that

It’s like grown up story time with a spooky history lesson. This is going to sound silly, but I initially learned as a kid about Salem and the witch trials and stuff like that from Scooby-Doo! So now having context as an adult makes everything come full circle.
When i took religios studies in college, i did mine on Catholicism and the "burning times". I read bits and pieces of the Malleus Maleficarum. Amazing how a fearbecame a part of a belief system. Also, love that illustration you have. Are any copies sold? And thank you for your work.

I'm reading a 500 year old book right now. It takes some adjustment but once you read a few pages it becomes normal.
My biggest complaint is the lack of periods/full stops.
Is there any information about how to kill a witch?
The fact that they had rape back in those days is crazy because it still happens.
